Attor had a favorite place down by the lake, it didn't matter rather it was cold or getting warmer Attor would still go sit there. Last time he had been out here is wasn't alone like he was now. There was a slightly chill in the area and he pulled his robes up to block it.
Sitting there in silence he thought about the year. He wasn't depressed about it at the moment just letting it unfold in his mind once more. Giving way to a small sigh he thought about how much he wanted to push Kenny's buttons when it came to Vonali. He wanted to establish he was better then the other boy even if it meant a physical fight between them. He was gonna have to get over these feelings if he was going to stay on Von's good side. And the test, boy Attor wasn't going to like that. He didn't like having anyone around even when he practiced by himself. Its not that he couldn't take an audience they could just never keep their mouth shut during the whole thing. Kenny would be watching every move he made and Kenny was protective this didn't bode well for Attor punching and kicking his girlfriend.
"Uhhhhh." Attor groaned leaning his head back on the tree. He was gonna end up in a fight with Kenny one day. It was going to happen he just knew it. And honestly he would delight in punching him in the face, but the after effects with Vonali would no doubt be disastrous so he was going to have to figure something else out.

Vonali thought that the meeting with Kenny had gone better then she remembered when Marc and Kenny had met. Though things had been difficult for her and Attor. And instead of letting him get over, which might have been where she went wrong with Marc, she went out searching for him.
She found him leaning underneath a tree by the lake. She walked up behind him softly and folded her arms and leaned against it. She hated that she'd gone and made things difficult for them. She stood there quietly and waited for him to acknowledge her. And if need be she was happy to just stand there in silence.

Attor moved a bit he hadn't seemed to notice she was there. It wasn't surprising the wind was blowing and his was deep within his cloak. His face was slightly red from the cold it was just his genes leading to this though it wasn't because it was to cold or anything.
He sighed to turn his head aiming to look at the sky through the trees leaves, but he bout jumped when he caught something unexpected out of the corner of his eye. Attor turned blinking up at Vonali before smiling a little. "Good grief you most move as silent as a cat sometimes...." Attor said pulling himself slightly out of his cloak to look at her.

Vonali stood there and enjoyed the view though she did tuck her arms deeper in her jacket. At Attor's startlement Vonali grinned and moved to sit next to him. Would be easier to talk to him and would allow her to snag some of his heat. " Normally I'd take that as a compliment but I didn't meant to startle you today."
She leaned back against the tree and looked out at the lake. "It's a great spot you've got here. Hope you don't mind me crashing in." She offered him a small smile and looked at him trying to judge his mood.

"So other days you do aim to startle me, good to know I shall watch my back." Attor said with a laugh as he watched her move to sit down.
"Nah I don't mind. I was just getting some fresh air is all." Attor looked her over she seemed to be judging his mood. He smiled to assure her he was doing ok today. "Do you have something on your mind?"

Vonali smirked and stopped her assessment. " Well of course there are days I want to startle you, but you're usually aware of those." She sighed it would figure he'd get straight to the point today.
She tucked her legs up against her chest. " You really shouldn't have antagonized Kenny." She placed her chin on her knees. All that had been determined in that meeting was make Kenny jealous. Which meant he would be unhappy when she would be with Attor.

"Oh am I? So far the only day that's happened was last time I was here with a date. Which for once maybe I should be frustrated with you. The girls have backed off in fear of having their haired dyed by a certain girl we all know." Attor snorted he didn't really care that much the main girls that were interested in seemed to not fear Vonali as much.
Attor made an ugg like sound in response to her reply. "Its in my nature." He said looking to her. "I crave to be the alpha in every situation. I suppose I was more aggressive because of the circumstances, I won't apologize though. I will how ever endeavor to be less aggressive around him next time. I was thinking over it myself only a moment ago, for your sake I'll have to learn to behave." Attor said crossing his arms. "I don't like that he is coming to the practice....test whatever....he is a hot head he might get pissed cause I punch you to hard or something."

Vonali snickered at the thought of the girls being afraid of her but that didn't bode well for his future. " I'm sorry. But she annoyed me, a lot. And they can't blame that on you. It could have been anything." She smiles and smirks. " Well I'll try not to put you all in the same area again. That way there won't be an issue."
She sat for a moment and had to admit she'd worried about Kenny's reaction to her fighting. But as she looked back on her history with him she didn't think he'd get mad about her getting hit. " I'm sure he understands what a match entails, but I'll make sure of it." At least she hoped so.

"What she ever do to you?" Attor said with a laugh, not that he had protested to Vonali not doing it, but he was curious how the girl was so annoying she seemed fine to him. "Well that's no good either is it? I mean what good is a friend if you always have to keep them separated from your boyfriend. I promise I'll do better next time. Though you should let him know its a weakness to be so easily prodded. People make stupid decisions when they are angry and its gonna bite him in the butt one day." Not that Attor cared what happened to Kenny he only cared for Von having to deal with it as well.
"He understood that the fighting has to do with me throwing you to the mat or vice versa too, but that didn't stop him from taking it the wrong way with just a hint of ill intent in my voice. Whose to say he won't still snap either way." Attor asked with a raised brow.

Vonali's eye narrowed as she remembered. "She was very disrespectful and general chick things." She shrugged as he promised to be better next time. " We'll deal with next time, next time. I appreciate the effort though Dragon."
She leaned against the tree bringing her knees with her and seemed to curl into a ball. "True. I don't know, I think I need to just sit with him and talk." She sighed and propped her chin on her knees. " If he snaps I'll deal with it."

Attor looked over at her and sighed inwardly. His words weren't really helping right now where they? He looked towards the lake and seemed to drift off in thought for a moment. Why had he let himself fall so quickly for Von? If he had kept up his guard she wouldn't have to feel so weird around Attor. He would still have his best friend just the way they were.
He suddenly shoved her and had a big smile on his face. "Lets talk about something else. Like business! I got a letter from my rival in the guild. b*****d is trying to shake me from a deal by giving me a friendly warning. I'm going to corner that rat the next time I can and shake him with words that wont be done justice on paper."

Vonali wasn't expecting the shove and toppled over onto her side. With a quick look at Attor she smiled wide and sat up with a snicker. " I thought you wanted to avoid business for awhile. Though that sounds highly amusing! Can I watch?"
Von was smiling now and sat right next to Attor their hips barely touching. She was ready to let go of the awkwardness and move on, though she would keep an eye out for any snags. "I hope you teach the guy you aren't so easy to shake."

Attor laughed as she fell over. " Eh we need something to talk about. Well.....I don't have anyone to take to the winter ball over Christmas break. If you want to see it in person you'll just have to come with me?" Attor said with a smile, oh Vonali would love this. Surrounded by every kid that owns stock or are the future heirs of wealthy businesses. It's a deal makers heaven and not to mention that she could get to see Attor as his best playing games of witty banter with his rivals or even friends.
"Oh we've been at it since we could talk. I don't like him and he doesn't like me. Our business paths collide to often making us both very competitive against each other. He is also an inventor like I'm trying to be and its proving problematic as our minds work to similarly, but I will beat him to the market every time I just know it." Attor said and trill of excitement and conviction in his voice as he clenched his fist as though crushing his rival with in it.

Von laughed good naturely at her own circumstances. " What is it about you that leaves me falling over all the time?" Her tone clearly said she was joking with him.
At his invitation she kind of gawked at him. " I would love that!" Her mind was whirling with the people she'd meet that she just reacted by giving him a big hug. " My father will be so jealous. HA! I won't tell him!" She laughed again and sat back down next to him. Then a new thought struck her. " What do I have to wear? What if I don't have anything..." She'd never thought about fashion before but she knew it'd be important for this.

"My natural charm and charisma makes every fall over in my wake." Attor said joking back slapping his knee a bit as his own statement as he laughed.
"Thought you would." Attor felt a jolt go through him as she hugged him. His face turned redder then before and he prayed she won't notice. He cussed inwardly he didn't want to let her know just her touch simple hug could get to him like this.
Attor shrugged at her next comment. "Not a problem I'll provide something it's got to match what I wear anyways or it will be a big fauz pas. Course you can help choose the colors and mask of course. Its a masquerade ball, but I'll know everyone worth talking to even with everyone wearing mask so there is no worry there. I normally like something like a wolf or fox mask for myself I've down cat mask before to but that was less pleasing to my taste." Attor said as he pondered over it.
