 Welcome to the CTRL + ALT + DUREM camp fire. Go on, grab a marshmallow and relax by the fire making s'mores as we all tell ghost stories that have been told for years. Does your town or city have a famous haunted area? Or maybe you just like a classic Halloween story. Either way this is where you can share both. But please remember, no spying on Louie he's been telling me about it a lot recently and blaming me for it because of this thread. So yeah... anyway! Post away!

Once, there was a young lady-- a reporter-- come to visit a supposedly haunted hotel. It was an old but still grand hotel, but there were no fancy key pads or cushioned elevators.
So when the woman turned the key to her room, she found she couldn't open it. She tried again, turning it the other way, still she couldn't open it. So she peered inside the lock to see if there was something jamming it. Unfortunately for her, there wasn't, and she could see clearly into the room.
She saw a young girl with red eyes looking straight at her standing on a pile of corpses. Horrified, the reporter scrambled away from the door.
After recovering, she thought it was impossible. Ghosts weren't real. It must have been a photo or something to frighten guests. So she looked in the lock again and all she saw was red.
Don't get it?That was the girl's red eye looking at her.

One night, two medicine students are about to board the elevator to exit the house. But as they entered, a woman about their age was rushing to catch up.
One student quickly closed it, pale with fear. The other student, confused, asked him why he didn't let the woman in.
The first student answered:"That girl was my patient a while ago. Did you see that red tag on her wrist? That means that she already died, and allowable for study.
Upon hearing this, she smiled, and showed him a tag with the same color, on her own wrist.

Years ago, in University's All-Girl's Dorm, there was a girl. She was very depressed and decided the best course of action was to end it all. The door way from her room was directly across the hall from one of the floors communal bathrooms. The large mirror could easily be seen from the door way of her room. Hanging herself up, she let herself hang, watching herself in the mirror as she died. This room is the only one on all the floors to have the doorway moved. When you walk by, you can see where they bricked up one doorway before moving the entrance to the dorm room. This was to help remove the negative from the girl's actions. This has not solved the problem. Many girls in the dorm say she is still there, a spirit haunting the halls. She appears in your dreams, attempting to persuade you to grant her the use of your body. Her name has been lost to the times, but to those of us who know her story she is... The Lady in the Yellow Dress
