[PRP] Oh Momma! (Mavi, Faraji and Nina)

It was late in the evening and Mavi laid in a make shift den area with her two young cubs. While the sun was almost completely set there was still a good amount of light to see by and it seemed that her daughter was taking advantage of this fact. Mavi growled and nipped several times at her daughter trying to get her to calm down. "Nina that is enough. It's time for bed for the both of you." Mavi stated as she eyed both Nina and her brother Faraji. It seemed to Mavi like the battle for bed time had been going on forever but it had really only been around ten minutes since she had laid down and tried to get her cubs to lay down with her.

She was already exhausted from a very long day and she was ready to bed down for the night but she was learning now that having cubs and trying to go to sleep whenever she was tired was not always possible. She growled again as Nina went for her ear, nipping and clawing at it.

Nina giggled as Mavi growled at her and she grabbed a hold of her mothers ear with her teeth. She growled softly along with her mother as she began to tug on her ear but she found herself misplaced fairly easily when Mavi shook her head. She tumbled back to the ground and landed with a thump. It wasn't often that Nina wanted to wrestle and tumble about in rough play but she was all wound up from the day and just itching for a bit of rough play to get out the excessive energy. It just seemed her mother was not going to be the one to help with that.

As she was shaken off once again Nina decided to turn on her brother. She pounced Faraji with no warning at all and attempted to pin him to the ground so she could nibble on his ear in a playful fashion.

Faraji was giggling, tail wiggling as he debated joining in the antics. It HAD been a long day, but he was feeling a second wind coming on now as he watched his sister wrestle with their mom as she tried in vain to get them to settle down for the night. "I'm not tired, Mama, can we stay up a bit longer?"

Just as he was finally making up his mind to pounce Nina, she pounced him instead. Growls and giggles filled the air as he fell over onto his back and pawed at his sister as she nibbled on his ear. He, in turn, took to trying to gnaw on one of her feet that kept batting at his muzzle. He caught himself in mid-yawn at one point, but hoped his mom wouldn't see that and renewed his efforts at twisting so he'd end up on top gnawing Nina's ear instead.

Mavi sighed as she watched her cubs wrestle. She couldn't help but smile at them. Oh how she missed having fun as a cub and playing but she really hadn't gotten to do much of it except when she had been very small or at least she believed she did. She couldn't really remember past her juvenile days when she was living in this pride and following around her mentor. Those days she had spent most of her time learning the ways of the healer and training to become what she was today. She was happy to see her cubs play now and know they were having lots of fun.

"Oh alright I guess but not much longer or you'll be really tired tomorrow."

Nina was giggling away as her brother and her wrestled and gnawed on one another. She was all into nibbling and gnawing on Faraji but after a few moments he managed to get the upper paw and was on top of her. She wiggled and giggled and tried to get her ear out of her brothers mouth. She even put a paw over one of his eyes and tried to push him away so she could regain her ear.

When Mavi said they could stay up longer Nina's excitement built. "YAY!" She squeed and then began kicking Faraji with her back paws to whatever part of him she could reach. She did her best to keep her little claws sheethed so she didn't hurt her brother too much. She didn't want to make him cry after all.
