Roll an Eleven: Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Shina walked into the stadium and laughed lightly. "Why is it every time I decide to battle with Rasha, it ends up being the Canyon field? Oh well." Taking her place in the trainer's box, Shina tossed Rasha's pokeball down to one of the wider ledges. The Ponyta appeared and looked around.

Riza stepped up onto the trainer platform the pokeball Shina had lent her held close to her chest as she looked around. She had to admit she was a little nervous as this was her first time ever battling. It was of course only a training battle but still, she had to do her best and have faith. She tossed the pokeball down to the bottom, releasing Annabelle and allowing the little furret to gain a better idea of her surroundings. She waved tentatively at Shina.

Riza gave a nod. “Alright!” She called back before looking at the things in front of her. “Annabelle, let’s try a dig attack! There’s lots of dirt!” Riza called watching as Annabelle did just that.

Annabelle stilled for a moment looking at Rasha, she seemed a bit hesitant to attack all of a sudden. "Come on Annabelle! You can do this, she is your enemy right now!" Riza called out. "Use toxic!" Annabelle hesitated for a moment before flinging some rather gross looking purple ooze at Rasha.

"Good thing you lowered her attack already!" Shina called. "You know, I don't think Annabell's ever been flying. Why don't you help her with that?" Shina suggested. Rasha took the command in the manner it was intended, and attempted to send Annabell flying with a well-placed kick.

Annabelle flew back but regained her ground quickly enough. "Alright Annabelle, hit her with another dig attack!" Riza called out. Annabelle did, vanishing under the ground to hopefully hit Rasha.
