Izrail was new to the sith. His father, Majanga wanted more young cubs to train as well as grandcubs. Of course his siblings had left their mother once they reached adolescence. Izrail was the only one of her offspring who stuck around to hear about their father. He wanted to know his father, but the truth was pretty rough. His father was a leader of a strange group, most didn't get along with Izrail who was a gentle soul despite who his father was.

Majanga sent him out to the rogue lands to have a fling and bring back new members for the pride. His father saw him as near useless as he hardly fought others. This would prove that he was useful though. He would bring someone back, hopefully. Having a fling though. He shook his head. His father wanted him to have a fling, stick around with the female long enough for her to have the cubs then steal some when they were old enough. He knew he could never do that. His time spent with his mother would stop him. A mother's love was something special.

For now he would focus on finding members for the pride. He had to be picky. Those who were like him would not fit in. He needed fighters and warriors. They would work perfectly and Majanga would be proud of him. He grinned. He had no idea what to say to convince them, but he would figure out something. He would make Majanga proud of him though.

He walked farther away, getting to the border of the jungle. His time had been short in the jungle. He would be glad to leave it for a little bit. As he walked he found a spot to rest. He would continue his search once he was rested.

Sukanya walked slowly, her strides languid and relaxed, with a purpose behind each step, however her eyes were unfocused. Staring blankly before her as she walked, easily side-stepping those obstacles that appeared in her way without conscious thought, she heaved a gentle sigh.

She felt odd being jealous of her son, her only son, but Makosa had found not only a person to share his life with, but a home to call his own. It was amongst other hybrids, which made her glad because she honestly wanted that boy to be happy, after all that he had struggled through in his life, but still...she felt jealous.

Sukanya had never found that, she wandered constantly, never stopping in one place for longer than a day or two. She had made connections with people, lasting ones, but they were friendship, not love.

She wished her son all the best, but honestly, she wished a little luck on herself as well.

(Apologies for her colour, if you want me to change it, just let me know <3 )

As he walked, he noticed a dark leopardess in the distance. Izrail picked up speed. Perhaps the leopardess would know of someone who could use a pride who was a fighter? He hoped so. The shorter he was out in the rogue land the better. He wanted to return home quickly and prove to his father that he wasn't completely useless.

With a grin on his maw, he spoke “Hello, er I was wondering if you perhaps knew someone who might be interested in joining a small group. My father is looking for fighters for his pride.” His smiled turned a bit awkward. It was a weird question to ask, he realized now. Since he was young, he lack really any interaction with others because he was always taking care of his sick mother. His ears bent back.

“I am sorry. That was a bit rude.” He said gently, sitting himself down and let out a sigh. “I well didn't mean to interrupt you. It just happened. I don't always think things through.”

Wow, could he just shut up for a moment, he thought for a moment. He just hoped the leopardess wouldn't think he was crazy or anything like it. “My name is Izrail by the way. If you want, I can leave you alone. I know sometimes I can be a bother. I try not to but... it just happens.”

Sukanya was surprised at the sound of another appraoching and raised her head, spotting the handsome lion from a distance as he approached. She kept her eyes on him warily, wondering what he was after, but as he came closer, it became quite clear that he wasn't there for any nefarious reasons as he spoke.

She looked a bit amused at his abrupt greeting, and how he began to ramble just a bit. It was a bit...endearing, she had to admit.

"It's fine, I don't mind an interruption now and then," she said, her voice a tad huskier than one would imagine from a female of her stature. Her lungs and vocal chords had been damaged slightly when she was a young parent, trying to prevent the death of her only cub from a fire. She was lucky that all she had was a bit of a rasp. "I was only walking, anyway." She smiled at him. "I'm sorry to say, Izrail, that I don't know any fighters."

She shifted lightly on her paws, before adding. "My name is Sukanya."

Izrail nodded his head. Of course his search for fighters wouldn't be over this quickly. It was a real task, a task that would probably take him a couple days if not longer to complete. If it was a simple task Majanga would have done it himself, instead of giving it to his useless son. “Thank you for your help though.” He said with a nod, still lost in his thoughts.

He snapped out of it when she spoke her name. “Nice to meet you Sukanya.” He said with a soft smile. “I think my search is going to take some time. Fighters and warriors are rare I think. If I was stronger I wouldn't have to even bother with this search.” He looked at the ground, moving the dirt with one of his claws. He hated admitting his weakness, but it just came out. Embarrassment covered him, before he glanced back up.

“Since I did interrupt you, even if you were just walking, I would be willing to help you out. It would give me something to do while I think of what my next plan of action is.” He said. “I can hunt pretty well or protect you while you walk. I mean, I'm not very strong but I think I can be a bit intimidating. If we were attacked I wouldn't let anyone get to you. Even if I am weak, I can still protect others, I think.” He gave a nervous laugh, wondering how others interacted with others. Most of the sith kept to themselves, but maybe he could try and talk to them and work on his social skills.

"Why are you after fighters, can I ask?" She was curious. "You said your father wanted them, but shouldn't a fighter come to a pride, not the pride seeking fighters?" She wasn't sure how prides worked, she wasn't a fan of them, she was raised to walk. Admittedly, her son had taken up residence in a pride himself, and seemed rather content. He was even in a position of power, from what she knew.

She smiled, mildly amused at his nervousness and the slight rambling once again. "You are welcome to accompany me," she agreed, "but you don't have to protect me, nor hunt for me." She tilted her head, and tensed her muscles, her small form staying rather small despite her attempted at bravado. "I can take care of myself." She wasn't a fighter, but she'd raised her son in the rogue lands, she had to know how to take care of herself, else they both would have died.

She relaxed her stance and smiled. "I wouldn't turn down some company and conversation while I walk though."

“We are looking for fighters to join our pride because our numbers are so few. My father wants to rage war on our enemy who will not give us the land that is properly ours.” Izrail said as he recited it from memory. He had asked his father a similar response and was told again and again how the Jedi would not share the sacred land, only giving them a small piece of the pride to call their own. Izrail had asked his father why they didn't just move on and find a different land, but his father would say it didn't have the same strength as the land he wanted. Izrail never bothered to figure out what his father meant. “It's a foolish task I think. But my father sent his biggest fool to do it.” He hoped that some day his father would respect him like he respected the other sith apprentices.

“I er, didn't mean to say that you couldn't defend yourself. I am sure you would do so very well, probably better then I could protect you.” He laughed awkwardly. “I guess, I like being there for others and so I thought I would extend the offer to you. Companionship is something I can do, though not very well, but you have probably figured that out. Talking is definitely not one of my strong suits. I never had much chance to talk when I was younger. That's probably why I'm not so good at it.”

He gave her a smile and hoped he wasn't saying too much. “So where would you like to go? If you don't mind, while we walk I am going to keep an eye out for some strong looking creatures.”

Sukanya frowned lightly at his explanation, keeping silent about the 'war' - she had never been a fan of them, but she supposed they were occassionaly required - what really sparked her attention was his last comment. "Surely you are not speaking about yourself!" She said, staring at Izrail. Surely he didn't think himself his father's biggest fool?

She laughed at his awkward response to her bluster. "It's fine," she soothed. "Most people look at me and see a frail leopard, not realising that I can take care of myself. I appreciate your offer, but it is not needed." She smiled. "Well, we can use this as a tutoring lesson, 'how to converse with a random leopard you have just met'." She flicked her tail and glanced around.

"I don't mind in the slightest," she agreed readily, and looked around them. "Perhaps if we head in that direction?" She suggested, pointing her tail towards the north-west. "There is a watering hole that is quite popular, and one of my former dens is nearby. The watering hole attracts quite a few people, so you may find a strong creature there."

“I don't think I am as big as fool as my father thinks I am.” He said, after thinking about it. In his father's opinion he was near useless. “I am determined to make him proud of me though. I want to prove to him that I'm not a complete idiot.”

His ears perked up when she mentioned the lessons. “You would really help me out?” A wide grin appeared on his face. Other then his mother, he had never met anyone so kind before. Everyone in the Sith was so serious and too themselves. He could hardly say hello without pissing one of them off. “Sounds good to me!” He said, quickly heading in the direction she pointed. This trip might be what he was looking for.

“Thank you so much for helping me. My father really doesn't understand me much and my fellow pride members usually just ignore me. But I think if I learn how to communicate better, they will accept me quicker.” He said with a nod as they walked toward the watering hole.

Sukanya tilted her head and smiled slightly. "I'm glad you don't think yourself useless - someday I am sure your father will see your worth."

She couldn't help but smile widely back as he grinned at her. He was quite endearing, she decided, and nodded at his question. "Of course, I am always willing to help." She followed along behind him, her pace slightly slower than his thanks to her lungs. She couldn't always travel swiftly, but she could travel efficiently, she knew.

"It is my pleasure," Sukanya responded happily. "I think good communication is key, and also," she grinned, "it means that my walk is less boring and far more entertaining." She flicked her tail, moving gently and calmly towards the watering hole.

"So tell me about yourself, Izrail," she encouraged. He'd learn best if he talked. "Tell me anything you want." Tell me everything, she thought, curious about the male who was her companion - if only for a short time.
