Audra Ailith Home of Edel CondulmerLocated in the more rural areas of New York. This tiny town was abandoned and nothing more than decaying buildings and overgrown brush. The entire town was closed off for nearly a month, and an was reopened bran new. Many of the old buildings restored, while the rest were re-built and re-modeled to a more historic nature. Victorian, Art Nouveau, many aged and decorative architectural elements can be found in this small town. Such a quality is what attracts many tourists to visit the town. Audra contains several homes that are open for new home owners, a large hotel complex, several small stores, an antique shop, a museum, and a small magic shop next to a large and beautiful park. The town is surrounded by woods and a seemingly endless natural and antique beauty. The magic shop is home to Edel Condulmer, the woman purchased and re-invented the town. While the outside of the store looks small, the shop area inside is incredibly large. Filled with magical items, potions, clothing, antiques, and a private room for personal readings. The rest of the building is Edel's personal home. With magic permeating every inch of the home, the number of rooms in the house seem to be endless and ever changing. Guest rooms, lounge rooms, indoor gardens, stables, underground storage and stables, caves... anything a witch with guests could want or need. While only those who are sensitive to magical auras would know that the town is filled with real magic, most think that the only magic in the town comes from the "fortune teller woman". Most come to tour the town and return home with a souvenir or two, while others come for Edel's help or the protection and peace of mind her magically guarded town provides. While the town resides in the rural areas of New York....Edel owns a small building complex in New York City to do small business, acquire more customers, or easily teleport herself and guests from the city to Audra Ailith. She also has a magical connection from Audra Ailith to her original home in England. THAT, however, is entirely private and she does not allow guests to come with her to her former home.

Audra Ailith ~ New York City branch ♦Edel Condulmer♦ ♦Location♦ Inside the shop foyer.♦Status♦ Focused on her two guests.♦Morgan Harris♦ ♦Location♦ With Edel Condulmer.♦Status♦ Worried she'll get caught.ENTER FROM CENTRAL PARK Morgan glanced around the large entry hall, then nervously back at Edel. She didn't want her parents finding out that she had come here, so she was hoping no one who knew them had seen her get out of a stranger's car and dash into the building. As she waited for the other two to make it into the building, she took another nervous glance around.
The room looked like just about any other business in the city. Gray and white marble floors, decorative columns, glass windows spread across the street side wall, a dark purple carpet stretching from the entrance to a large dark cherry door at the other end of the room. Very clean, decorative, and business-y looking.
A large, polished white desk was near the entrance to the main part of the building. A woman with feathered maroon colored hair was clacking away feverishly at a computer behind the desk while a small terrier pup yipped at the intruders from behind the woman's feet. The first time Morgan had visited, the troll of a thing had scared her nearly to death. At least this time it was being kept behind the desk and not left free to come barreling down the carpet to gnaw at her ankles.
Morgan gave the tiny thing a wrinkle of her nose, then turned back to wait on Miss Condulmer.
Edel entered through the large spinning door a moment later. An almost relieved smile curled around her dark lips as she stepped onto the rug. She loved the park, but when it came to being in the city, she loved being inside her building more. No polluted air, no noise, no crowds, and plenty of magic energy permeating the room to make her feel at ease. She felt better when she had magic around her that she could use at any given time. And she felt twice as good knowing she was in a magically fortified building.
She smiled at Morgan, then moved away from the door to wait on the man they were with. She could see through the glass the curious look Feranes was giving the door, then frowned thoughtfully. Perhaps she should have had him come through right behind her. It looked as though the man had never seen such a door before...and she had seen far too many comedy films where someone had gotten stuck in spinning doors.

Seeming almost like a curious child, Feranes pushed the revolving door again as he looked at it, and watched as it spun round and round before stopping.
"How strange..." Feranes muttered to himself, and then he muttered something in an ancient language-- the Elder tongue, which neither Edel or Morgan would understand. He turned back to Edel and nodded, briefly looking around at how clean the place looked. There was a tiny canine barking at him; he ignored it and it's owner.
"Miss Condulmer," he said softly, "perhaps we should go somewhere more secluded? But... First..."
Feranes, frowning slightly, moved back to the door and walked into it... and kept walking. In a circle. He was... stuck.
"What in the--?!" Feranes muttered, reversing direction and trying to get out that way. It didn't help.

Neither woman could help but to simply stand there and stare as Feranes became stuck between the two doors. Edel because she didn't think the man would walk back into it after successfully walking through it the first time. Morgan because....well....she had never seen such a sight before.
Carefully, she crept up close to Edel, and spoke soft enough so that only she could hear. "Um...Miss Condulmer....is...is he from out of town?" she asked.
Edel made a gruff sound that was like that of a mix between a cough and a grunt. "I...I do believe so. He's not used to the city life." she replied. With that, she waved her hand towards the door, and quickly brought it back as though she were simply straightening out the sleeve of her dress.
The door stopped moving as Feranes was pushed towards the entrance far enough that he could slip out again.

Feranes managed to smoothly step out of the revolving doors and straighten his tie, playing casual.
"Right. Thank you," he said to Edel, having felt her magic. "Like I said, somewhere more secluded would be nice."

"Of course..." Edel replied with a small smile. "Let me just get a few things straightened out first, and I'll take you to where we can talk openly." she said. With that, she turned and moved towards the reception desk.
The small dog wagged it's tail at her approach, but kept his eyes locked on Feranes and Morgan. Growling as threateningly as his five-pound little self could muster.
"Anita, will you take the girl to the waiting hall while I take my other guest to the 'home' area?" Edel asked, then paused a beat before turning back to Feranes. "Unless you'd rather stay with her to make sure she's taken care of. I'm sure she'll be able to get herself home though."

Feranes looked from Edel, to the dog; and the dog immediately stopped growling and sat on it's hind end, panting in a docile manner. The Elven King smiled, and looked to Morgan.
"I was under the assumption that you wished to speak with Miss Condulmer yourself, Miss Harris? I do not mind speaking with you both; In fact I feel obligated," he said, still with that calming, almost disarming smile on his face.

"I....um...." Morgan began. She wanted to say no, she'd like to speak with Edel privately. Heck, at this point she wanted to say she'd just come back another day. But...there was just something about this man that made her feel at ease. "Well...alright. If you wanted to talk to me too." she replied.
Edel smiled as she stared at Ferane's smile as well. Though...she had a bit of a different smile on her face. "Very well then." Edel began, then turned back towards Anita. "Cancel that...continue with what you're doing."
The woman just gave her a quick nod as she continued to clack away at the keyboard. "Shall I cancel your fifteen?"
"Might as well...it was just a catch-up with the girls." Edel replied, then motioned the two towards the large wooden door next to the desk. Edel opened the door, revealing a long, dark red hallway accented with gold mirrors and decorations.
"Come along then...I have a room where you may both speak freely." she said.
Morgan gazed down the hallway, then swallowed nervously. The last time, she had simply sat down and made an appointment next to the desk. She never went any deeper into the building before.
Nevertheless...she was this far now, she might as well keep going.
She gave a look back at Feranes, then turned and walked past Edel and into the hallway.

Feranes, now totally calm and composed, walked behind Morgan as they entered the hallway. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, and subtly used his magic to put the girl at ease.
"Calm down," he said softly. "There's no reason to be nervous."

Morgan felt the hand on her shoulder, and the tension seemed to just melt away. Normally she would have found it strange that she was so relaxed around a stranger...but she was too relaxed to care right now. She turned her head up towards Feranes, and gave him an appreciative smile. "I'm sorry. I'm just...not used to doing things on my own like this."
"There's no need to worry, my dear." Edel replied as she carefully moved past them to lead them down the hall. "I promise you, there's no saver place in New York to be than here." she said, then paused for a beat. "Or at least as far as I know. I really don't "get out" that often." she admitted.
As they passed down the decorative hallway, something about the air began to change. Morgan certainly wouldn't have any clue as to what was going on, but Edel knew all too well. When she had a guest such as Feranes...New York City wasn't the best place to be. If she wanted to keep her guests in her City complex, she would have taken them through the first door on the right. That's really where the building ended. It was taller than it was wide.
If they kept going down the hallway....they actually passed through another door way. One that took them straight into the hallway of her rural shop in New York.
As they reached the end of the hall, they came upon a large, grand looking staircase. Morgan's eyes widened a bit, as she didn't think the building had room for such a nice looking staircase. As Edel led them past the stairs and to a door directly to the left, Morgan turned and watched as it disappeared behind them.
Now in a white room with golden curtains, hard wood furniture, and royal blue furniture, Edel turned and motioned towards the seats. "Here we are. Make yourselves comfortable."

Feranes, after walking into the room, nodded to Edel politely.
"Thank you, milady," he said softly. "Now, if you will excuse me..." he said, and he closed his eyes, seeming to focus, and his clothes began to glow softly. The expensive-looking suit morphed into a set of regal-looking black robes, and a crown of sorts formed upon his head as a sword, which itself radiated very powerful magic, appeared sheathed at his hip. In addition to this, his slicked-back hair grew longer, becoming wavy and going past his ears, which themselves became elongated and pointed. He finished his little transformation, and looked back to the two.
"Forgive me; I am not Fred Hastings, and I am not a stockbroker. In truth I do not even know what a stockbroker is. My name is Feranes, and I am the King of the Fey."

Edel's smile grew as Feranes transformed from his disguise. It had been such a long, LONG time since she had seen anyone besides herself use magic. It was actually rather fun to watch someone else transform from one look to another. When his clothing took more of a reagal look, she frowned thoughtfully. Though she wasn't expecting someone with so much magic to be a commoner or anything...she wasn't expecting that she'd be entertaining royalty. When Feranes introduced himself, her smile returned. "King of the Fey?" she asked, her tone more than a little interested. "My...I knew with the level of magic you possessed, you were going to be something. I was not expecting one with such a title though." she replied.
And then her smile suddenly vanished, and a second later her eyes widened as though she had forgotten something very, very important. She turned quickly towards the young girl she had led back with them.
Morgan stood, thankfully, next to a chair which she was bracing herself on. Her green eyes were wide, and her mouth now hung slack in disbelief. Edel frowned, and worried that she may need to check to make sure the poor thing was still breathing.

Feranes gave Edel a short nod, and looked to Morgan, frowning thoughtfully. "My apologies, Miss Harris," he said, his tone soft and polite. "It was not my intention to frighten. I merely assumed that it would be safe to show you who I really am. It was obvious that my disguise was ineffective, at least for you, Miss Condulmer. I am... unaccustomed to current human society, as you may have already guessed."

Morgan tried to answer him...she really did...but all she could manage to do was stutter. Her brain just seemed to have...shut off. She tried to make sense of what she had just seen, but there was no real way to explain it. There were no kinds of tricks in the room as far as she knew. And...even if there were, how could anything do THAT? He...his ears...and the clothes...and...and...
"It was..." Edel replied calmly, her attention still fixed on Morgan. "Your unfamiliarity to modern ways, equipped with the magic aura that's practically radiating off of you...I knew you "weren't from around here". Miss Harris...why don't you sit down there. It'll be a little easier on your nerves."
Morgan just stared, stuttered once more, then nodded at Edel slowly before curling around the chair and sinking down into the seat.
"...I'm sorry, Feranes. Most humans think "real" magic consists of parlor tricks, frauds, or herbal medicine. It'll be alright though." Edel said, waving her hand towards a cupboard behind Morgan. "I have some tea that will do wonders for her nerves....and her memory if she doesn't take well to the shock..." she mumbled the last bit as she moved past her and towards the cupboard. "Would you like anything?"

Feranes frowned as he looked to Morgan; he sincerely hoped that she would not be traumatized by this occurrence...
His sensitive ears picked up Edel's words, and he said: "I suppose some tea would be acceptable..." and he wished to mention the idea of a memory wipe being unacceptable, but he decided to refrain for Morgan's sake.
