[SOLO JRP] Out to the roguelands? (Kismat & Mavi)

The day was just beginning but Kismat was already out on patrol and happy to be there. He wasn't too interested in the races the whole pride was always buzzing about but he was loyal to his prides safety. He spent just about all of his time on the prides borders except for when he was eating, sleeping or getting water to drink. At the moment Kismat was taking a quiet rest on a large boulder from which he could see everything and everyone who came within eye sight. There wasn't much that usually blocked his view except the mountain regions east of the pride. He knew from his curious wanderings that desert was to the north and the ocean was to the west and far to the south there was some mountains but it was pretty flat for a long way before those mountains.

There would be very few who could manage to slip past his alert gaze on this terrain.

On this particular day Mavi had some time off but she wasn't using it as off time like she should have. She was on her way out of the pride to find herbs. She used just about every spare minute she didn't have to do something or be somewhere to look for herbs. She liked to have as large a stock pile as she could possibly have. There was no telling when they might be needed and she certainly didn't want to be caught unaware. She was getting close to the edge of the pride now.

She knew well just about every guard dog there was in the pride and she wasn't surprised to see Kismat on a boulder not far from her. He was almost always on duty. She didn't see him much within the pride but anytime she was heading to the borders she could almost always count on finding him. He was good at what he did and she was good at what she did so they got along wonderfully.
