Amphi wasn't sure how they ended up back at the dorms so quickly. It could've been Roch's natural instinct to haul her up and run (which is what he pretty much did) or the mermaids ability to talk...and talk she did.
Miles at minutes if you thought about it. She wasn't laughing, but was super red when he bust open his door and plopped her in his room.
"Roch, we just left all the other students! They probably needed our help still!" The mermaid cocked her hands on her hips and stared at him. Since getting her voice back as well...she had gotten better at scolding.
Especially Lou. However, there was a thrill as she stared up at Roch, for a long time she wasn't able to talk to him and now...Yes. She was so happy.
"Why did we come to your room?"

He grinned. "You kiddin' me? Most of them go through wars on a regular basis," he said. "An' the new ones need t'learn t'fight for themselves. Besides, the hunters are gone, right? That's good enough." He'd been such a slackard this fight, he thought. "Jack am I glad you're still here," he said, hugging her and resting his chin on her head.
His heart was pounding so loudly he was sure she could hear it, especially with her hearing. "Now!" he said, pulling away a second later. "You owe me--considerin' the amount of time y'spent not talkin, add to that the fact y'didn't TELL me y'could talk-- about fifty songs," he decided. "Get movin' ghoul, the karaoke booth is waitin!"

The mermaid gave him a raised eyebrow.
"it doesn't mean we should leave them!" She threw up her hands and sighed. To be honest, she was just as glad to get out of there as she was worried about the students left behind. She may have healed the teacher while she had been there but...that was the extent of her powers.
"I wouldn't leave you...again." She wrapped her arms around his waist and breathed in the scent of her boilfriend. Ah, Real.
The nervous heartbeat of Roch though was lost under that of Amphi's, pretty sure her heart was going to leap out of her chest. she gave him a O n O stare at the mention of owed songs and smiled.
"Alright, i'll find a good one just for you." She flushed and hurried over to the room he had set up. Flipping through the book and looking for the right song. Once he was seated though, she started.

He was draped over the big black leather couch, listening to her with a tiny smile on his face, his mind so full of the fact that she could sing--that they weren't getting torn apart yet again, that he didn't even think of those they'd left behind. When she finished the first song, he got up, heading to her and touching her chin so he could lean down and press a kiss to her lips.
"Another one!" he ordered with a wide grin. "Sing me another one." Then he leaned down, kissing her neck before turning and flopping down on the couch again.

Amphi blinked as he came up and kissed her. She was going to press for more but he demanded another.
Another blink and then a smile. Well it was only his right. She wanted to sing for him, it was selfish of her and of course, Selfish of him. But he deserved it. The mic left the stand as she held it and chose another song.
Never find a love like this...
it was added with small dance numbers and circling around the reaper as he sat down. She touched his cheek, smiling, joy...caught up in the song.

When the hand touched his cheek, he grabbed it, tugging her onto the couch with him, laughing. "Jack, you're adorable," he said, hugging her. "Hey--hey, y'hungry?" he asked. "I got some eyescream in the fridge, and some chocolate syrup, maybe some cruel whip--gotta check the freezer," he said.

"Ro..Roch!" She had barely finished the song when he tugged her down, landing of course in his lap and giving him narrowed eyes. Of course the mermaid could only laugh with him as she set the mic down and nodded.
"Eye scream sounds good! But are you going to actually share with me?" She stared at him and pulled at his cheeks. The pure image of whip cream and syrup made the mermaid lick her lips.
And her stomach growled loudly which in turn made the mermaid flush with embarassment. "ah see now you done it, my stomach wants all the things." She laughed and pushed herself off him, bouncing over to the book again.
"If you get the ice cream...I'll sing you ONE more song." Otherwise she would be killing her voice.

"I might, for a song," he said, getting up. "Don't start without me, got it?" he asked, innocently as he headed into the other room to dig through the freezer.
He came back a few minutes later with two large bowls of eyescream topped off with everything you could think of. And a bottle of chocolate syrup sticking out of his pocket--y'know, for just in case he hadn't added enough.
"So... which one y'want?" he asked, holding the slightly smaller one towards her already.

"Y'brat," he said, giving her a dark look before digging into the smaller bowl. Halfway through he stopped, digging out his chocolate syrup and squeezing it over the bowl--then frowning and shaking it. "Jackin' thing is almost empty--"
Chocolate syrup splattered over his vest and arm. "Well... crap."

Amphi was too engrossed in her eye scream to see the bottle exploded.
Maybe Roch was playing with it too hard? She peaked over her sundae and laughed.
"You would be attacked outside it went out like that. Here..." She got up and unzipped his vest and pushed it off. By now, she had gotten use to her boilfriends chest. AS sexy as it was, it only brought up a slight flush.
Fingertips brushed over it before moving to his arm and drawing it up.
"ah you really made a mess on yourself Roch!" She studied and debated on just how to clean it...Her head dropped lower until....she wiped it off with his already dirtied vest.
"There! Much better." Amphi discarded the vest into a pile of what she assumed was dirty laundry in his booth (because he probably does) and went back to her eye scream. Smiling at him as she took a bite.

He finished off his sundae after giving her a strange look, then licked his own arm. "It's still sticky," he complained. "An' I need t'get a new bottle, it just ain't right not havin' chocolate syrup on hand." Then he licked the bowl before placing it on the couch back and heading for the miniature stage. He pulled forward a stool and sat down on it, summoning his guitar. "T'give y'time to recover," he explained as he started to play for her.

The smile continued through though she had gotten a weird look from him and took another bite.
Ah yay! A break and Roch playing and Eye scream! this was the best day ever, best ending to the day ever.
Her hand swooned with with the riff of the guitars as she studied him. Somewhere, her mind was registering heat, a primal instinct of wanting to posses.
Of wanting to touch and claim. It had been so long when they had just themselves and she wanted to claim it like it was. The unfinished Eye scream was pushed aside as she licked the rest off the spoon and continued to study Roch.
She wanted to kiss again, To taste again. And the eye scream wasn't putting a damper on the sweetness she was secretly pining for.
the whole thought process was lost because it was in the back of her mind as she watched him play. But it was there...it had always been there.

He finished the song, his eyes full of heat and focused on--
The unfinished eye scream. "If y'ain't gonna finish it!" he said, heading for the bowl and grabbing her spoon (the one she'd been licking, the unhygenic punk) to start eating. He dropped down next to her, taking up more than his fair share of the couch--but he always did. "Ahhh--ah--jack, eye scream headache," he moaned, reaching up and touching his head.
He had chocolate syrup on his cheek, the glutton.

Amphi sighed as she pushed away from him.
She knew it, Food was always more important then her. But he couldn't blame her, Eye scream had been good...too much of course but good.
"Brain Freeze?" The mermaid reached over to rub on his temples, massaging Roch with great concetration.
"Does it feel better now?" her eyes dropped down to the chocolate on his cheek and then back to his forehead. "I think one more song and maybe we should rest or something...."
