The day had been stressful and Attor didn't even bother looking for someone to go to dinner with. He wasn't going he didn't feel like dealing with people or food for that matter. He ate two and a half chocolate frogs so he wasn't not eating. That's how Attor was rationalizing it. Deep down he knew this wasn't a good sign. It was a warning flag that he was slipping towards the depression he had had at the beginning of the year.
Attor had take a shower and had only bothered putting on boxers before slipping into bed. The boys in his room where fine with such a thing after all. None of them were in the room not even Tynan. He pulled the covers up and turned his head to notice Amduat was staring down at him from the post. "Hey buddy." Attor then pulled a stuffed snake out from under his pillow. It had been enchanted to move like a real snake. Tynan gave it to him and it served to calm Attor down. None of the boys in the room dare pick on Attor about it either since they had each faced is wrath at one time or another.
It didn't take long for him to fall into a very light sleep as he clung to the plush.

Von had gotten to dinner early and was seated next to Kenny but she kept a watchful eye out for Attor. When she noticed he wasn't coming, she told Kenny she had to do something and to cover for her before slipping out of the dining hall. She stayed in the shadows as she headed straight for the Slytherin common room.
She'd never done something this dangerous in a while and her heart beat increased but she didn't stop. Once inside the common room she slinked up the stairs to the boy's dorms. She hadn't gone far when she noticed Attor in bed his pet on the head board. She wasn't sure if the thing would attack her but she had to get to Attor. As she leaned over to rudely shake him awake she caught sight of the toy and she rolled her eyes. She brushed his hair out of his face took a deep breath and jumped on his bed. She dared not speak in case someone else was around. And she was ready to throw her hand over Attor's mouth if he decided to get loud.

Amduat hissed as Vonali got closer as though it was trying desperate to warn Attor. He was far to small of a snake to want to attack Vonali itself though.
Attor didn't stir to his pet's hissing he was a little to deep in the sleep for that sound to wake him. He made a cute sound when she brushed his hair away. He rolled slightly letting go of the plushie just before jumped on the bed. This startled the hell out of Attor and he woke with a yell. Promptly having his mouth covered by Von's hand. At first his eyes seemed to say wtf. Then he realized that he was in nothing, but his boxers. His face became red and he quickly pushed his plushie under his pillow. Finally he took his hand and removed her's from his mouth.
"What are you doing in here? You're gonna get us both in trouble." Attor grumbled, but didn't bother to whisper cause he knew no one else was here.

Von couldn't help it but the look on Attor's face when he woke had her laughing so hard she had to use her free hand to cover her own mouth. She was laughing too hard to care about his boxers or the plushie. When her removed her hand from his mouth she tried to calm herself.
"If you'd stop talking so loud that won't happen. Now hurry and throw a pair of pants over your shorts and grab a shirt. It's time for dinner." She spoke just above a whisper a smirk still plastered to her face. She got up and peeked down the hall. "Hurry before someone comes to check the rooms!"

"Boys eat...." Attor said sitting up. "None of them ever come to the rooms during this time. And they rarely send anyone to check the rooms less they feel suspicious about something." Attor knew this for a fact he had spent a lot of time skipping meals after all before. They hadn't changed anything since then either.
"Do I look like I intended to go to dinner tonight?" Attor said sounding rather annoyed before he flopped back into the covers. "Go back to dinner Von. I'm going back to sleep." Attor said before pulling the covers over his head. He had a feeling though she wasn't gonna leave that easy.

Von relaxed a bit and leaned against the frame of the door when Attor got announced he wasn't going to bed. She turned around just in time to see him pull the blankets over his head. She clicked her tongue and walked over to his bed and leaned over him to whisper in his ear. "I'm gonna be nice this first warning. I see the depression, and I will not let my best friend sink back down into that pit. So get up. Don't make me get mean."
She already had two more plans to get him out of bed but they'd seriously piss him off so she thought it fair to give him this warning. She really did care about him, but all she knew was tough love, and things would get tough if he ignored her warning. "So outta bed and let's go to dinner."

The blankets seemed to close tighter around Attor as she whispered her warning. "Please just go away Von, I'm fine. Its not what you think. Its been a long day. I had some chocolate frogs. And now I wish to sleep like I was peacefully before you got here." Attor said his voice muffled by the blankets.
"So get outta here and you go to dinner." He huffed she couldn't make him do things. She was stubborn as hell if someone told her to do something well Attor could be too. He didn't want to be around all those people and he wasn't hungry.

Von gave a heavy sigh as he choose the more difficult of the paths." I'm your friend Attor and I will not allow you to do this anymore. And if I have to get you to hate me to do that I will." She sat on the edge of his bed allowing him a moment to contemplate before leaning over him and reaching for the toy he'd stuffed under his pillow.
" Hate for this to get wet. Did you name it?" Her tone of voice had moved from understanding to one of taunting. The way he'd tried to hide the snake had pushed her towards starting on this option first. She kind of wish Tabby had followed her, she could have threatened to let the cat shred it. But didn't one of the other Slytherin males have a cat... " Or shredded by a cat."

"Do what anymore? I skip one meal and you are going nuts on me? " Attor groaned as he felt her grab the snake from under his pillow. He should have been more protective of it, but then again he wasn't really expecting her to be so stubborn about this or do this at all in the first place.
The blankets came down and an angry looking Attor stared at Vonali. His eye narrowed he knew better then to act like the plush didn't mean anything to him. She would see through that quickly. "That was a gift from someone important to me if you truly care about our friendship you will put it down." Attor sounded serious as hell right now. His hand seemed to be shifting to the side of the bed. Unlike most who had their wand on the bed side table at night. Attor had built a small holding place into the side of his bed for quick withdraw if need be.

Vonali smirked glad she finally had his attention. And held the snake by it's 'neck'. "I am not going nuts. I'm intervening on the behalf of my wonderful friend Attor." Her eyes narrowed as he shifted and her eyes scanned the table noting that his wand wasn't there. She tsked him slightly.
"Attor, look you get up and come eat and this doesn't need to get ugly and involve our wands." She let her other hand drop so the wand shoved up her sleeve could drop quickly into her hand if needed. " Is avoiding dinner really worth risking this memory?"
She'd spent too much time being nice and not forcing her hand and unfortunately Attor was the first victim of this renewed vigor. She'd gotten used to the idea of her friends hating her but that didn't mean she was just going to stop caring about them.

Attor's hand grasp around the wand even though she had mentioned she knew what he was reaching for. He didn't moved just yet though he didn't like the idea of drawing a wand on Vonali, but he was also getting more stubborn by the moment.
"I don't want to and you have no right to make me. You wouldn't dare do anything to that plush and if you did I honestly wouldn't forgive you for it. " His words hinted that this was starting to become more about the principle of the thing.
Attor stared at her with a hint of being betrayed in his eyes. This wasn't the Von he was used to seeing. It was obvious the fact that she was trying to help was being missed right now. The worst way to deal with Attor was with force the more you pushed the more he was going to push back.

Von had no issue pressing the issue until she caught the betrayal in his eyes. She glared at him and with a growl threw the blasted snake at him."Bloody hell man, get your clothes on. I am not doing this.' She was clearly pissed that she'd sunken so low as to caring if he hated her or not.
She grumbled and stomped over to the door expecting him to get dressed so they could go eat. First Marc, then Kenny and now Attor, how and why did she allow these guys such trust and leniency. She was starting to think she needed to avoid the male gender all together, she apparently had a weakness for them.

Attor blinked he had not expected for her to give up. He thought he was going to get that snake back in shreds. He picked it up and seemed to sigh with relief as he tucked it back under his pillow. He didn't take any sort of satisfaction in this victory(?) though as Vonali seemed pissed now and he didn't want that either.
He sat up pulling his knees forwards and wrapped his arms around his legs. Attor pressed his head against them while asking himself if this day could get any worse. He tended to get social anxiety when he was feeling depressed. The major part was just how many people there would be talking and just being loud. "I so don't want to go." Attor said finally as he slipped out of bed. He didn't really care if she saw him in his boxers or not at this point. Von had backed down from something in away which he knew was hard for her. They were a like in their stubbornness. So he was going to submit and go, but he would be damned if he was going to stay for long. He slipped on some pants and a long sleeve shirt. His hand motioned for Amduat to follow he knew he was going to need some sort of comfort when they hit the great hall.
"Are you sure you won't just leave and let me go back to bed?" Attor pleaded walking over to her now holding Amduat in his hands.

Vonali let out a sigh and placed an arm around Attor. " Nope but as soon as you eat a plate of food I'll let you race back here immediately. " She looked down the hall before she took a step forward pulling Attor with her.
Since they were alone Vonali lowered her voice. "Thanks for coming to dinner. I feel like your current mood is all my fault. If I hadn't dropped my guard the day we danced, we probably have continued the year without all this drama." She looked down at her feet feeling very embarrassed.

"A whole plate?" Attor groaned placing Amduat on his shoulder as she pulled him forwards.
Attor stopped and grabbed Vonali so she would stop to. "Don't you dare apologize for that night. Or letting your guard down. It's worth the drama if you ask me." Attor sighed before continuing. "The only reason I'm feeling like this is because I talked to you about what happened during the summer. It was bound to hit me again you don't just walk away from something like that and act like it never happened. So don't think it's your fault. I guess....I'm just glad I have someone who is trying to make sure I don't hurt myself again.....even if I dont appreciate it very much right now....."
"I can sit by you right...even if Kenny is there? I'm feeling really nervous right now being around all those people is not going to be a good thing for me." Attor said before walking forwards slowly.
