Water field: Five large platforms float on the surface of the deep pool. Four form a diamond formation around the single platform in the center. While land pokemon can move around on this field, it is mainly built for water-types. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to WATER type attacks.

"You've been doing great, Zarya!" Zinnia said to her mismagius as they entered the stadium. "You're definitely getting stronger. You can feel it, can't you? Soon you'll be able to take on anybody! It's 'cause I'm a really good trainer, and 'cause you're tough! If you don't give up, I won't either. So go get 'em!"

Zarya flew to her place on the field and hovered above the splashing water. Maybe... maybe she could win! Maybe...

Heal walked up to the trainer podium, walking along with Tripod. "There is nothing to fear, its just a friendly battle..." He looked at the field. "In water.....You know how to swim, right?" He gave a helpless grin at the feline, who just glare. "You'll be okay, I promise."

Tripod licked his lips for a moment, looking at the field with some trepidation before he leaped up onto one of the platforms. He gave a whining merow towards his trainer.

"We are going to be be juuuust fine"

"Hey, it's Heal!" Zinnia said in surprise. "Hi, Heal! Hi, Tripod!" she called out. Oh no, she was going to have to battle against that adorable pokemon? She bit her lip. Well... too late to turn back now.

"Let's go, Zarya! You'll do great!" she encouraged her ghost. "Growl!"

Zarya did her best to growl at the little shinx.

"Oh hey, I knew that Mismagius looked familiar" He laughed and gave a wave before turning back to the battle. "Bite"

The luxio's fur bristled at the growl, baring his fangs, he lunged forward to bite.

Zarya squeaked in surprise and pain as the electric pokemon's fangs clamped onto her. She quickly phased out of his reach, but when she solidified again further away, it was clear that she was frightened.

"Hang on, Zarya!" Zinnia called. "Power Gem!"

The gems on Zarya's cloak sparkled with an unnatural light, and suddenly three beams of energy hurtled toward Tripod.

Tripod thrown back and right off the platform.

"Tripod?!" Heal stared down at the water.

The feline came up onto another platform, looking very angry as he shook himself up.

"So he does know how to swim..." Heal raised his eyebrows in surprise, he tensed a bit at the pokemon's growl. "Right, sorry. Night slash."

Unsheething his claws, he quickly leaped from platform to platform as they began to glow darkly. Leaping up, the claws teared toward the ghost pokemon.

"Power Gem!" Zinnia shouted.

Zarya winced as the luxio cut her, but she quickly charged up another gem attack. The precious ovals on her cloak sparkled brightly and shot out another three beams toward Tripod.

"Night slash!"

Tripod moved out of the way of the attack, having it grazed and burned his side. His claws gave a dark glow and he leaped up at the ghost pokemon, furcoat bristling with electricity.

"Power Gem, again!"

Zarya winced as she was cut, her red eyes momentarily closing in pain. Then she drew herself together and released another triple beam of sparkling light.

Tripod jumped into the water to dodge the attack, disappearing for a moment under the water before suddenly leaping up from behind the ghost pokemon, slashing with glowing claws.

"Do it, Zarya!"

The ghost was starting to get worn out. But she still used all her concentration to build up the triple beams of light again. She did her best to aim and released the Power Gem attack from her gemstones.

Tripod cried out as he was knocked out off the platform and into the water by the beam. He tiredly pulled himself up and shook his furcoat as dry as he could. Taking himself into a pouncing position, he leaped up at the ghost with a slashing claws.

"(S-sorry!)" Zarya stammered, flying higher so that Tripod's claws only caught the edge of her cloak. She winced.

Once again, the dusky gems lit up and released beams down upon the luxio.
