Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks

"Brr!" Zinnia exclaimed as she shivered. She found herself once again in one of her least favorite fields. Why did it have to be so cold? "Luckily the cold doesn't bother you, huh?" she said to Zarya, the mismagius. "You'll do great."
Zarya nodded, but still looked dubious. She wanted to get strong and win, but what if she failed...? Maybe she wasn't good enough to be on the team...
She floated out into position and waited nervously for the signal to begin.

"How the eff did I get stuck with THIS arena?! It would be my luck." Tama growled as he censored himself. Climbing onto the trainer's platform, he sighed, ignoring as his breath clouded in front of his face. With that, he pulled out a Pokeball from his belt and looked at it. He wasn't too confident with this particular Pokemon's ability to battle, considering he only used her for contests. But, at this moment, it was his only available one. With a flick of his wrist, he tossed the ball out toward the field, releasing a luxurious furred Ninetales.
After being released, Kihaku landed on the ice and immediately started to skid. It took a bit of flailing legs to get her claws to dig into the ice and stop herself. Once she was finally stopped, she turned and glared at her trainer. He can be so reckless. She thought to herself as she turned to face her opponent. She got a slightly disdainful look on her face at how her opponent seemed to be able to float. She just shook her head and waited for the signal, determined to show her trainer that she's not just a pretty Pokemon

After getting the go signal, her trainer didn't hesitate in commanding her to use Flame Burst. With a yip in response, Kihaku nodded her head and narrowed her eyes. Not wanting to move and slip about, the fox lifted her head, sending a ball of flame high into the air. That ball soon bursts, sending multiple streaks of fire at the opponent.

"MAGI!" Zarya shrieked in surprise as she was suddenly engulfed in flame. She had the sense to use her ghostly abilities to phase out before she was burnt to a crisp, but the Ninetails did manage to singe the edges of her already blackened cloak.
"Use Ominous Wind!" Zinnia shouted. Time to cool down that hot fox!
Zarya reappeared and summoned a hair-raising wind in the already freezing stadium.

Kihaku braced herself from impact when the wind began to howl around the stadium. When nothing happened though, she was a bit confused. It didn't distract her from her from her next command. With a bark, she opened her mouth and launched several wisps of fire toward the ghost.

Now wary of the flames, Zarya dodged the will-o-wisp and paused, waiting for Zinnia's instruction.
"Ominous Wind, again!" the blue-haired trainer shouted.
Zarya summoned the wind again, but this time sent it swirling around Kihaku ominously.
