When the Council member of Currency debriefed her on her curent mission, she could hardly believe it. No- he must had a lot of pull now that he was a Geisha. Whether he was toying with her or- someone in the higher ups knew about them. Either way, she accepted with a straight faced nod... Though really she wanted to decline it but in the member's eyes.. she could tell that it wasn't up for debate. After Abila got married, it was hard to even talk to her, and when she did- the girl seemed torn and it was for good reason. But, with her married, Rada was now free to be anyone's bodyguard or fighter. Anything they wished her to be- and somehow even being Ajani's partner, she was being hesitant. Paranoia started to creep in her skin and she wasn't liking it too much. She would have to be on her toes, watching everyone at every moment, and even worse- would have to completely warp herself in making sure every action outside is exact... No faults and successful.
Her ears pinned back, as she got on her serious, bodyguard face coming up to the 'guards' of the entertainer's dens.
"You ran out of credits, and I don't see anything that's even worth bearing."
Rada threw her head back, as if to ignore the guard. "I'm coming for a member for a coop-mission." As she walked straight in. Everything about this, stunk- and reeked of blackmail... "Geisha Ajani." When she called out, it was rough- with little to not sentiment... Nothing like before, and rather she looked peeved and angry, which was likely a coverup but she made it show that she wasn't going to take crao from anyone, nor treat anyone better. Ajani, wasn't her partner- Abila was. She had thought they could have retired her but no... Now they were toying with her and her new found feelings which she wouldn't take likely. NOT her.
"I don't have all day." She hissed, which the guard not even seconds after came up to her face and pushed her to wait outside the den, which she stood her ground for and resisted to move. Ears pinned and a stern face. "We don't work with flowers- so back off." "You are not going to treat a valued member of the pride like that- I don't care who you are-" "Pfft." Tossing her head back cooly and huffing.. She was beginning to be unliked already as she caught something in the corner of her eye, a glint..

Geisha Ajani, he heared. He had been resting, but that voice, it was a little different then he was used to. Much more rougher. He then wondered why she was even there. Now wasn't a good time for one of their secret 'meetings'. They could easily be seen. Then he remembered. He was briefed shortly on a mission. They didn't tell him anything specific, just that he would be going with a fighter.
He felt himself get cold. How come it was with her? Had someone found out. He stayed calm regardless and got up and went to her. For a moment he watched her interaction with the guard. She was so lovely, even with her being rough around the edges. He liked it. His walk toward the guard was graceful. He gave the guard a frown. "Now now, that isn't how you treat a lady now is it?" He gave the guard a wink. "Currency fighter Rada, I assume you need me for an important mission. You will have to catch me up, I am afraid I wasn't told much."
He walked passed the guard and continued walking, The entertainer's den wouldn't be safe anymore for them to talk. He needed to keep his distance from her from now on. Though in the rogue lands he was sure that they would be safe, unless the council or royals sent spies to watch them. He was sure though that that would not happen. They weren't worth the trouble of spies, or so he thought.
"I am sorry the guard gave you so much trouble. I wish they would be more relaxed about things." He said, looking forward and not at Rada. Ajani knew that his eyes would soften if he looked at her. When he was around her, his entertainer mask was put away and his true face shown. That wasn't a bad thing, he thought, but if anyone noticed it could lead to trouble. For now he would avoid looking at her, at least till they left the pride.

A hiss came out of her, til she was graced with his presence. Still. She remained tough looking, conditioned by Abila of a fake mask. "Hmph." A smirk was released as soon as Ajani went passed her and the guard, the girl following suit right after him, alas, a stride behind him. When getting down the crater paths down to the ground floor she remained 'quiet' and stoic. Standing stall with full muscle showing as she walked with poise... yet strength.
"This isn't a coincidence I'm sure." Her breath was low, and huffy... She was first, certain that he did something.. "Don't you have it bad~" The mocking was because of her 'qurrel' withe the idiot guard. Hmph, she'd die before having to just sit there and watch others ALL day and count status points and treasures. An eye roll. Slowly they started down and out in to the only way to come in and out... Nodding to the guards as they walked through and up until that moment in the forest ring did she step a stride in front of him.. Protection. What's hers... What this mission was.
"The mission..... Was even unclear to me. A pride that isn't very well known..I can't imagen why..." Her ears went down. "Oh?" Looking at the path he was taking.. "So you have been on a mission before..." Only currency fighters and those that needed to know the path to leave- then being deserted in the wasteland, left to die if you didn't know an escape to the rocky path.. Giving a space between them.... Then the awkward feeling started to set in to her stomach and a blush crossed her face..

“Whether it is a coincidence or not, we must treat it like any other mission. It is just like any mission. I feel honored that I was picked to be on a mission with the 'peacemaker' though. They probably thought we would make a balanced team.” He said quietly, after being sure no one was in earshot. This mission, he would treat as any other mission. However he knew that it is was something more. If he had been paired with anyone else, he wouldn't be protective of them. With Rada here, he wasn't sure what he would do if she got hurt or was in danger. All he knew was that he would do whatever he could do to protect her.
He had been on one mission before this. A simple one, one where he was brought to 'negotiate'. It wasn't a mission he thought was very glamorous. He was sure this one would be much more interesting. “One mission before this. Pretty boring though. I am sure you have been on a few.” He said with a smile. “I hardly get the chance to see the land outside the pride. I am looking forward to seeing the new sites.”
He did not like this, soon he could really be with her. To not hide his feelings. Why must he contain all his feelings when he was in the pride? It wasn't fair to him or Rada. More then anything he wanted to prove to her that his love was real. “Since you have had more experience did you want to lead the mission? Maybe I can learn a thing from your leadership.” He continued to walk the path, though sticking close to Rada. He did make sure they weren't too close. Close enough to be friends. Far enough not to be lovers.

The slowly walked in a pace that was less than a walk. More like longer strides... Then down the rocky underground tunnels.. That was their secret.. Going underground where taverns were, and then figuring out the labyrinth of getting out. If one didn't know how to navigate through here- they'd easily die of starvation or lack of water. Slowly she seeped in front of him and through the taverns, she knew eyes were all around here so she gave him space, like he did and trotted along more like a 'dog' or hyena now with her stance... Eyeing those whom eyed them. "All the missions I went to- Abila was more less a paw full. You entertainers ARE a pawful." Especially when they tried to prove themselves as something more than just a hunk of meat like Abila did. Except, she was already proposed to.. which was why she needed to go above and beyond what she thought could make her famous.. Make her name.. But that ended when she got married and she went low...
Where Rada was still gaining up in the ranks, careful of her attractions to a certain cheetah.. "Beyond the grass plains is where we will be in somewhat of a clear.. but.. follow close." Thats when she picked up the pace and started through the tunnels, their words had echoed but then were completely clear of the echo when they made it far far beyond the boarders... Which had to have taken them almost two hours of strides to get to.. but finally ... It was a 'different' exit from the boarders than others would take. This where she would bring herself back from a solo mission not to be bothered. When they walked out the huge orange rock tunnel... there were now grassfields of gold from miles and beyond of which their eyes can see.
"Not too many know of this place... or this exit...For now, this is safer from prying eyes.." Looking onward before jumping off the 3 feet up tunnel ridge and in to the grass fields.. Almost fully disappearing because of the color her coat.. "Don't fall too behind.." As she thought about the mission, the time frame and if there was really a pride like that- ... pride of cheetahs dedicated to eating lions..... Or so she heard from the debriefing- She didn't think this was true, she would have heard about it out on her missions.. which led her to believe that someone higher up is playing with them.. and she rolled on that idea for the several hours they had been on for this mission.
"Who do you think it is." She spoke up, hidden within the grass.

Ajani let out a quiet chuckle. “You should try living with a group of entertainers. We can be so egotistical some times.” He didn't see himself as egotistical and knew there were some of the entertainers who weren't. There was a stereotype that entertainers were full of themselves and it might have been true for some, but not all. Ajani loved to joke around though and act full of himself around his fellow entertainers. “I hear that fighters can take things too seriously sometimes, especially on missions.”
As they walked, Ajani stuck close to her. The smell of grass filled his scent. He watched her jump and did the same, landing gracefully to the ground. Then he crouched down as he walked, trying to keep himself hidden. Now he stuck even closer to her, not wanting to lose her in the grass. “I'll try not to Rada.” He said, feeling the formality wasn't needed any more. To think that maybe eventually he would be able to be informal toward her in the pride. He just had to wait till he rose in ranks.
For their trip he kept mostly to himself. He didn't want to get too comfortable as they walked. If this was a setup, he wanted to be far from the pride before he really let himself be close to Rada. When Rada spoke up, he thought on her question. “Who do I think it is? Setting us up or?”
He heard a twig snap and froze. The snap was a ways away, but it still put him on guard.Ankou was far from them when she stepped on the branch. Her green She had stepped on it on purpose of course, to see if anything was out there. The grass moved differently then normal and she thought there might be little critters sneaking around, maybe even a cub she could take care of. That would be nice, having her own cub to start her family off with.
Her 'family' wasn't going to well, she thought as she watched the distant grass sway in the wind. She wanted to have some mates, a huge family that all just loved each other. But so far, everyone she got close to left her. She wasn't sure why, all she did was do her best to make them happy. It never seemed to work out though.
Now she was back searching for a new mate, a mate that will listen to her, yet still had a sweet tenderness to them. That would be perfect, she thought with a smile. “Is anyone out there?” She called out in a rougher voice. “I am a bit lost and was hoping to get some help.” She stayed still and listened to see if there was any reply.

She was in fact, one of those very Fighters that got offended and had to prove themselves syndrome. Unlike those others, though she would get upset- she wouldn't fight physically. Noting and observing the behaviors of others let her plan her attacks and those offenses, would ly beneath the water soon after the one whom spoke them had. She huffed. "Not very many females in my rank, make it hard for those whom are to excel. Especially when they go out and prove themselves- anything is a challenge." Giving him that look of yes- I have been there- done that.
"Yes whoever is must be-" Her heart stopped as soon as she heard the grass move. She slowed her pace to a dead stop and slowly did her body lower. "Stay here.. I'll go see what it is." About to take off in to the grass but although she didn't mean to hesitate- she looked back at Ajani.... If anything were to happen to him- she would surely risk her life for him. Go in the way for him... Then she shot forward-

He could stay there, or he could do his best to help out. Ajani had said that she was the lead in this mission, however he felt that staying put wouldn't do much good. So quietly he snuck down behind Rada, hoping that he wouldn't be seen as well. He heard the lioness speak. “She doesn't seem to be angry or upset. Do you think she is the one who gave the tip to 'Nera?” He asked in his quietest voice. If the lioness wasn't part of the mission, he didn't want her over hearing.
His steps were graceful, much like his steps when he danced. He didn't want to make a sound. He then wondered if this lioness was a spy, for whoever decided to set them up on this mission. As they walked, he allowed some distance to grow between him and Rada. Was anywhere safe for them? He wondered.
“What is our plan?” He asked as he walked cautiously. “I mean other then me staying put of course.” He gave her a smile grin, in hopes she wouldn't mind his ignoring her order. Ankou heard nothing but the wind blowing through the grass. She climbed upon a rock to get a better view. There was nothing she could see, but she could swear the someone was around. She rested on top of the rock, her eyes waiting for a slip up. If someone was out there, they couldn't hide forever. Their curiosity would get the better of them and that was when she would 'strike'.
All she really wanted was some company, even if it was for a short time. Of course finding some mates would be ideal, but she understood that some where not the mate type. However if she really wanted someone as her mate, she was fairly confident that she could twist their will to match hers. She just needed to show how much she needed them and more importantly how much they needed her. It was a win win situation for everyone involved.
“It is alright to come out.” She called out with a smile. “I know I might look a little scary to you, but I am a gentle lioness who would just like some help.”

"Ill ward her off. As long as she keeps away from the caverns we must not lead her in to the pride." The cheetah had been uncertain, and with her mind locked, and the words 'lion' came in to the air, Rada became tense. To the point of stressing til her thimble steps attached to a rock and lifted herself up with poise and power. " Game isn't here often." Finally coming up to view and behold, indeed a lioness that could take her down in an instant but she had trained with lions before, she wouldn't be different and the time for Ajani to get away would be efficient amount..all these things she took in to account before making a decision.
To boot she was with Ajani which made her that much more protective. Going in to a pose of power with no weakness, with her ears pinned back and a stance ready to leap if nessessary yet she looked unpleasantly calm. Not too friendly what so ever. "This is wasteland and crocks are often hidden in the bush."

Ajani watched Rada stand up. He wanted to see the lioness as well, but decided to wait. If Rada needed him he would step up. He was back up. Plus he was sure Rada could handle a lioness. They were always so arrogant and underestimated the slim frames of cheetahs. For now he would stay quite and see how things would unfold. Hopefully they could convince the lioness to leave the lands.
“If you need me for anything, just twitch your tail,” Ajani said with a nod to Rada. Right now he was feelings a bit useless. His skills weren't of much use right now. Dancing and singing would be pointless right now. He would be sure to learn more about fighting so he could at least defend those he cared about. His eyes went to Rada as she talked. He stayed down in the grass. Ankou smiled when she saw the cheetah emerge. The young cheetah before her was very lovely, despite being a bit rough around the edges. For now she would do for company. “Such a shame. I will have to look else where for some then.” Her eyes looked the cheetah up and down, a grin fell upon her face. “Though I think I might wait for a little bit. Right now I really am just hungry for company. I have spent so much time traveling alone. Even if it was for a little bit I would appreciate some company.”
Hidden crooks? She hoped her new company wasn't one of those. It would be such a shame if such a beautiful face had a twisted heart. “Crooks hide all over the place. You look like you could handle them though. Maybe if I stuck with you the crooks would avoid me?” She wondered if her new company had ran into some trouble earlier. Questions about the young cheetahs life entered Ankou's mind. How someone so pretty could become so rough was beyond her.
“My name is Ankou by the way. I am a traveler, looking for the right company.” She explained. Ankou wondered if this cheetah would be a candidate for a mate. She wanted her mates to be gentle and kind. Right now the cheetah was just being to strong, that if she was kind, it was hidden away.

Usually this would be easier if it hadn't been with Ajani, she was distracted by him. "You miss understand. The animal in which lurks in rivers and lakes, stay hidden here amongst the bushes, these are that of ground and water. To be here, would you die if uncareful.." Though this was to warn, it had been true.. These lands were known of surprises beneath the long grass and she for a moment did the worse mistake..
Looked at Ajani's face in the bushes.. Wanting to call him on to the rock with her so at least he was safe.. she knew where to step.. Not him. And when she was about to take a step towards him.. she realized.. She gave away his position. Striking a look to the lioness nonchalantly as if to smirk.
"I won't stay in the bushes waiting upon death.. You may venture alone- for alone you will fall to your knees.. And if company you need- it is not here for miles around.. And sticking to me might not be wise lion...It will be your undoing.." She lowered her hunches...and showed the 'act' of aggression.. but she would not use fists- no.. She used tactics, and fear tactics as she gave Ajani the signal to run... And she would follow.. If she wanted to die.. Let that be her undoing, as she probably would get very far..
Then she growled loudly.. "Go." She ordered- but though she stared at the lioness.. she was speaking loud and clear to Ajani..Club Snails wasting precious time X3 make a run for it so you may be together 8D

Ankou frowned. This cheetah was not one she was interested in, she decided. She was too, serious, to threatening. That wouldn't do for a mate, or even company. However she noticed a glance to the bushes. How odd? No, she eyed the bushes. There was someone there. “I think you are bluffing. I think if I looked hard enough there would be others here. I mean why would you and whoever you are with be out here so far? To die? I don't think so. However I think I will be on my way, once I meet your friend that is. Perhaps they will be proper company.”
She jumped down, right as the grass rustled. The moment Rada said 'Go' Ajani bolted. Running far from the lioness and Rada. He wondered if there was something about the lioness that frightened Rada. As he listened she didn't seem to have ill intent, just a lonely traveler. However he trusted Rada's instincts and kept going. He glanced back to see what was going on, but while doing so tripped over a rock. He felt his back right paw stretch a bit too much. When he got back up, and put weight on the paw, he felt a sharp pain in it. It wasn't broken, perhaps sprained though.
He quickly ducked into a small ditch, not too far from where he fell. He was hidden from sight. Now he would just have to wait for Rada to find him. They would have to head back to the pride once they got the lioness away. “Hm seems like your little friend has left you, or is that what you planned?” Ankou asked. “Either way, he looks very pretty. I think that I would like to make him my mate. I'll leave this land, once he agrees to leave with me.” She said to the cheetah with a slight grin. Quickily she hurried through the grass after the male cheetah, hoping to catch up to him. She knew she would never be able to catch up with a cheetah, but perhaps luck was on her side? Chi Sohma I hope that's okay. If you want me to have Ankou find Ajani now, I can edit this post and add that in.

The cheetah lifted her head slightly, as if to hear better."We were just leav-" But her muscles stiffened.. For some reason, she was becoming anxious, and now slightly out of her cool zone. She had found them out so quickly.. It almost caused a shock to her. "No. Do you not see what you are- lion. Do you think traveling cheetahs would just happily greet a lion, No. At least I warned you- we go our separate ways from here lion." But when she jumped down to go seek out Ajani, Rada couldn't allow this.. NO.
Quickly she jumped in after her and ran through the bushes enough to toss herself in front of the lion, strides to match the lioness but enough to catch up and dodge roll in front of her. It was WAY to close of a call to Ajani..
Protective and baring her teeth. But something stopped her and pulled a cold sheet over her body.. "Wait wha-" Then that word... 'Mate'... she homed in on that singled word which made her eyes grow.. T-T-To ma-make him... hers? SHE DIDN"T EVEN DO THAT! "NOOO!!" She shrieked.. and ran full force in to the lioness.. the immense weight compared to her own.. almost felt like she was running in to a wall but from her speed and force- they were enough to be knocked down and rolled with..
"RUN!" She yelled out to Ajani, further from here- So no one can have you.. Not like this.. Don't let anyone take you as theirs... "You crazy lion! He would NEVER BE WITH YOU!" Shoving her claws in to her face... The usually non combative cheetah- now showing her 'arms' to protect what she loved.. What was hers.. Which caused something more primal within her to click 'on'.. And she striked the lioness.. Looking down at her. "Don't you DARE go near him.." Her eyes- shown the wrath of a fighter.. finally.. and one determined to do anything to get her point across..Club Snails Bit*ch fight! XDDD; That word is 'no no' XD;;; This was suppose to be a date what happened LOLs

Ankou's attention went back to the female cheetah. “I grew up not having any biased toward other species,” her voice was a bit irritated. She did not like any feline who were biased against other felines. “When I see a fellow feline, I greet them no matter who they are. I guess I can't expect others to believe that same thing.”
She was beginning to think she found a lost cause. However when the cheetah said she could not have the male cheetah, it just made her desire for him grow. Even after she was hit, blood going down her fur, she was still determined to get to the male cheetah, or at least cause some more chaos. If she couldn't get what she wanted, she would cause as much pain as she could. “So he's your mate? How could someone so precious as him be with a beast like you?” She looked in the direction of the male. “He needs someone who is much more gentler. Someone who isn't you.”
He looked like he wasn't the fighting type, unlike the female. She wondered how the two could be together or even friends when they were so different. “You can hit me as much as you want, I will still that cheetah and I will make him my mate.”Ajani kept down and hidden. He would have ran farther, but his paw was too hurt. Helplessness covered him, as he heard Rada to run. He listened to them talk, only making out parts of it. Then he decided to peak to see what was happening. He saw Rada strike the lioness. This was bad, really bad. He moved so he was in sight.
“Rada, please stop this, lets just go.” He yelled at her, his ears bent back. Ajani felt there was no reason to fight, no reason for blood shed. They already suffered enough in the war, he wanted a moment of peace. They had a mission to do, even if it was a fake mission, he was determine to finish it. If, when they return, she was still there they could deal with her. For now he wanted to find someone who could help him with his leg. He stood tall, doing his best to ignore his leg. Chi Sohma XD These two can't have a break.

The cheetah, had planned to stop hitting the lioness. Yes, she knew this wouldn't be a fair fight but to show dominance was what she wanted. Yet... this lioness was something different. Something she hadn't ever encountered before.. Whom coaxed her out of her shell of peace and avoiding situations but this lioness.. KNEW. Knew what got her ticking like no one else before her.. And.. she snapped..
The words grew in to realities that she wanted to hide, things she wanted to keep secret- yet this lioness had spelled out her feelings towards Ajani like an open book. Being read so easily was NOT like Rada, and especially from a liones..
Her claws became now weapons, not to warn off but in attempts to 'kill' and she screamed. "NOO! NEVER!" Before slashes.. and slashing.. and slashing like a crazy cheetah! One after another, blood being drawn, and she continued, zoned out and ready to nearly kill the lioness before her. Ajani was nothing now, but the object she needed to protect. ESPECIAILLY from this lion!
She wouldn't stop.. not til what was under her had ceased to me. "YOULL NEVER HAVE HIM!" Club Snails Well at least we know she loves him now >_>;;;; Ajani need pull crazy rada off now? XDDD
