For the most part Alek stayed out of the way of everyone. The cave where he and Kayin lived wasn't close to anyone's house and he only came to town when he needed something. Though lately he had become lonely. Sure he had his sister to talk to, and she was amazing, however he wanted more contact with other people. If he wasn't such a introvert then it wouldn't be all that hard, but he was.
Walking around town he wondered what to do. If Zuri was still here she would have a plan. Sighing he spotted some thing off, well not something but someone. There was a girl that was obviously not from the Ice Tribe. He tired not to stare but he was trying to guess where she was from. In Zuri's letters she talked about all the other tribes and races, and from what she wrote he assumed that this girl was from the Leaf Tribe? He wasn't sure though. Although he longed to go and talk to her, she could be a possible friend and she would for sure have interesting stories, part of him kept him back. He would just have to wait and hope that she came up to him. What a man he was.

Keilana was not exactly sure how explain it but she was finding that a lot of people who were in this area were friendly or the exact opposite. What was with people? Giving a shiver she brought her cloak in about her shoulders. Keilana missed her brother, who seemed to be a million miles away in thought, and her..rather enthusiastic friend Animah. Sighing she was reluctant to admit that she missed having someone to talk to as well.
Looking up she had wandered quite a ways from her own tribes encampment and it looked as if there was only a cave up ahead. Sighing she moved towards it..perhaps she could warm herself up in it..she hated this cold. Trudging towards it, she felt so heavy in these clothes and this weather, she gave a start though when her gaze caught sight of a lone boy.
"O..oh! I..sorry I didn't know someone lived here..." She started with an apology wondering if she should leave.

Success! Now Alek had someone to talk to, and he didn't have to start up the conversation. Cowardly, maybe, but it worked. When she spoke he found that he rather liked her voice. "It is not a problem. I don't live her, just seeking some warmth from out side. Feel free to join me, you look like you could use some warmth yourself." She wasn't from her, so he guessed that she was extra cold. Normally he might not have uttered so many words, but she looked cold and he was lonely. "I could start a fire?" he offered as he moved more into the cave. There were kindling in the cave and he could light the fire with his magic. He couldn't do a lot, but it would be enough to start the fire where there was no wind.
"I'm Alek." he offered with a timid smile. She didn't seem dangerous so he felt safe telling her his name. Plus the fact that he was longing for some good conversation. Hopefully she could give it to him.

Relieved that she wasn't going to be chased away she nodded her head, a fire seemed like a wonderful idea right about now. Stepping inside she looked around and it really did seem like a temporary sort of home, much like the one Jacinthus and herself had set up for themselves.
"Ah I just assumed, it seems every crevice or hole that provides escape from the snow and wind is taken up as residence, I shouldn't of assumed." Keilana stated as she then shook her head and removed her head to let her hair be free. The hood was a great way of keeping the warmth in but she found it made her hair just ..horridly messy.
Running a gloved hand through her hair awkwardly she stopped and removed it quickly to straighten her hair before she half looked over to the one who had introduced himself as Alek . A strange looking one that was for sure.
"I am Keilana of the Leaf Tribe." She wasn't exactly sure why she was being so formal...perhaps she just felt out of sorts. "So do you live near here? The snow isn't blowing too hard..I just kinda was wandering around."

He nodded. "No it is safe to assume so, that is the case most of the time, however not this time." he said with a smile. "Though I think this was once someones house." he vaguely remembered someone living here, but long ago. Though it could have been somewhere that looked like this place as well. Sometimes the houses here all looked the same. When she let her hair free he smiled. It was very pretty.
"It's nice to meet you Keilana." he said happy he was right about her being from the Leaf Tribe. That was something he would have to tell Zuri! "I live a little whiles away. My twin and I have a cave we have made our home. We come into town and around here when we need things or interaction." he said nodding. He wasn't sure if he said to much in saying he wanted company, he hoped she didn't think to much into it.
Getting all the kindling he could find together he closed his eyes and reached into himself, pulling on his magic until the kindling caught fire. Opening his eyes Alek smiled. Sometimes it took longer for him to actually bring the fire. "Yes it isn't bad right now thankfully. Sometimes the weather doesn't even allow us to leave our home. How is it where your from?" he asked not sure if he was asking to much or not.

Keilana gave the boy a small smile before she observed the rest of the temporary shelter. It did have the appearance that someone had onced lived there. Small distinguishing features like a rock shelf, and few other dustier items like boxes. There were also the signs of people who were living there currently...
Twins were not something she was use to hearing, nor had she ever met a twin before. She gave the boy another look wondering if it would be rude to ask him, if his twin looked exactly like him. It probably would be... So onto other subjects!
"Ah so you live close by?" Keilana seemed distracted, though she snapped out of it when he asked about her own home.
"Ah well Tale is very dry, we have a lot of grass plains..and I had never seen snow until I came here. I am already tired of being cold." The leaf girl gave a bit of a laugh as if she was making fun of herself.

As Keilana looked around he tended to the fire, gathering more kindling to the side so that it wouldn't burn out any time soon. The storm was picking up, and it didn't look like either of them would be going back out into it any time soon. He might be able to go through, but he wasn't sure about her since she hadn't been raised in the snow.
Alek nodded. "It's about a twenty minute walk. Not to far. Well that is when the weather isn't bad. Like this it would take me much longer to get home." Plus Alek wasn't the daring type, and walking home in a storm like that was something he wasn't likely to do. He heard of people getting lost in storms like this, and he wasn't about the become one of those stories.
When she said it was dry in Tale, which is where most of the leaf tribe members lived, he smiled. "Yes, it can get pretty cold here. I bet if I went to Tale though I would be way to hot. My sister recently made the trip to Jauhar and she has been telling me how much of an adjustment it has been for her. So what brought you here to Zena Keilana? Your far from home."

Keilana took a deep breath and released it slowly, after all it bothered her to see her breath fog before her gaze well ..everything about the cold bothered her but that was a moot point now. The information about walking and the time frame sounded discouraging especially with how the weather was becoming worse and worse by the minute.
"Well I suppose then we are stuck here...we could ..regale each other stories until the weather gets better." The young woman stated as she looked for a place to sit preferably near the fire.
"Me? I came with my brother...and a band of my tribe to this cold place. We were..on a quest of sorts to find new lands and new people...our..resources are ..limited I think we hoped to find new food resources or better lands to grow food in. But it seems your people fair just as well in this harsh climate as we do in our dry one." Keilana offered Alek a smile and then gestured for him to come sit near her.
