What is Ranked RP PvP?

Ranked RP PvP is a style of 'Sparring' or 'PvP' RP where you will be ranked upon your wins and losses during RP. It is an RP 'Zone' where you can compete against other RPers for a place on a league table.

How does the system work?

There are two styles of RP PvP. The forum you are in right now is for Ranked RP PvP.

Essentially the system works like so. You may challenge anyone to a battle. Upon winning you will switch ranks with them however if you lose the battle your ranks will stay static. If this is your first time RPing in a PvP setting you will be assigned the lowest possible rank. Otherwise you will simply switch your current rank with the person whose rank you are challenging.

Rules of Challenges

When challenging other RPers I want you to follow common RP rules. You know what these are. No godmodding, no bunnying, no rampant meta-gaming. The like.

A challenge may be given to anyone who is not currently participating in a battle at any time. People of Rank #6 and below are not required to accept challenges at any time. If a person holds Ranks 1 through to 5 they must either accept a challenge or surrender their position.

Only battles between competitors for these five ranks will be observed for rule breaking. Though requests may be made for mod intervention between lower ranked battles you will have to submit a request yourself.

Battle Rules

When setting up a battle there are a few basic rules of conduct.
1: Do not set up a battle which gives yourself a gross advantage
2: Please set up an introductory post to give yourself time to prepare.
3: At the start of the battle post both profiles in the post 0.
4: Use spoilers to hide quotes and OOC.
