
The sun was shining bright and warming the small, dark red cub's pelt. Her mom had gone out not long ago to find something to eat and would hopefully be back soon. Maybe she would have an idea of how to cool down. She looked over at her lighter colored siblings and briefly wished she had lighter fur like them. Though she wouldn't trade her pelt for her brothers, she would gladly trade with any of her sisters. She didn't know now they could stand to be curled up together right now with the sun out.
She spotted one of her sisters laying a little ways away from the cub pile and walked over to her, laying down beside her.
