Yup! Thanksgiving. It's a big holiday for some, but most of all, it's a time to eat, get tipsy, and just get together at a table and appreciate being alive. A glimmer of tradition and normality for some, and a new experience for others who might not be used to getting together during the holidays.
Melvin is big on family, and without his own here, he is going to set out organizing his own thanksgiving in Deus. What does he need? Well, volunteers! He's just one trainee after all and can't do this all on his own. He'll need your help!
When it is November, Melvin will start sending out tweets asking for help and rps can be set as to not rush rpers who might be slow or in different time zones.
List:
- Cooks: Anyone who can cook! This isn't a normal meal. We're feeding a small army here and we need not one but several turkeys, not to mention pies, corn, stuffing, mash potatoes and every manner of yummy treats. (Melvin sure as hell can't cook!)
- Helping Hands: People to bring in chairs, set tables, and get their hands on things that might otherwise not have been bought
- Shoppers: Melvin is a trainee which means he doesn't get leave yet. He's using his own money from various testing he has gotten to help pay. We need a party to go out and buy the food, whatever they can't get from the kitchens, and booze (what is Thanksgiving without some wine with supper?).
So Far: Rin - though she could probably use some help!
-Party Poopers: Those who want their character to join but can't due to your character IClly not going on their own. That way we can poke people to set up a rp to drag them to the dinner.
-Donators: If you want to donate money, booze, decorations, or anything else, then please do! Melvin would appreciate anything he doesn't have to buy himself, and if you have a booze preference, then you need to bring your own.
Yes, I know it's still October but holidays are just around the corner.

Sherry thinks this is a great idea and she would love to help cook!
She is not like, amazing (and she has never cooked a turkey before) but she can mash potatoes and help with pies and such.
(She also plans on trying to drag Jake along. Everyone should be social and hang out. That's what Thanksgiving is for, right?)
