Gypsum stared dead-eyed into the grinning face of a pumpkin. It was stupid, being this angry at a vegetable. But she couldn't seem to help herself- she was tired, worn out, had a MOUNTAIN of homework, and yet here she was, powered up and victimless. Energy quota, energy quota, energy quota. Her duty, her job, blah blah blah. In her time away from Destiny City she'd forgotten how draining a double life could be, and tonight was a poignant reminder. The jack-o-lanterns that dotted the porches of the houses in this particular effluent section of the city seemed to be mocking her with their irritably festive expressions. She kicked one, sending it flying into the street to land with a satisfyingly wet smack.

That satisfying wet smack happened to be the results of the pumpkin slamming against the back of Gwendolyn Caspian's legs, and she was more startled by the sudden assault to her black stocking legs rather than harmed. Not that it would save her assailant from her wrath, as the sixteen year old turned around to see who had the nerve to attack her. She was in a terrible mood- she had failed a math exam earlier in the day and she was STILL doing detention for her little escapade around the city during class hours earlier in the semester. What had the world come to when one couldn't even walk to the grocery store without being assaulted?! That was when Gwen caught sight of what looked to be a Negaverse lieutenant, and the girl slammed both hands over her mouth to prevent the startled gasp or angered shout could escape and give herself away. In truth, she was almost expecting a youma, but a lieutenant? That was worse... much worse, because she wasn't prepared to fight one in her current state. 'I better find a place to transform... before she finds some unsuspecting victim to attack or something!' Gwen didn't think twice, moving as swiftly and as quietly as she could to find a spot to transform. Sure, her energy signature would then become clear after she transformed, but at least then she'd be able to defend herself. She darted for a nearby dumpster, holding her breath and leaping into it; with the noise she made, maybe the lieutenant would think she was an alley cat scrounging for food and wouldn't think to investigate. It was certainly worth a shot... she'd simply have to take a nice, long bath after this. She dove into the dumpster, clutching her henshin pen and whispering harshly as she pinched her nose with her free hand. "Tsui Star Power... Make Up!"

Gypsum almost didn't notice the energy signature that flared up nearby, busy moping and shuffling her feet dejectedly. She'd gotten pumpkin goop all over her toe. She wondered if it would stain, or just wipe off... And then an aura that screamed senshi popped up seemingly out of nowhere. She groaned, covering her eyes with a hand. Great, just great. Exactly what she needed. And she had thought this night couldn't get any WORSE. Didn't they have someplace better to be? She started peeking around, trying to find where it was hiding. Maybe a rooftop? Or the sewers? Ugh, she hoped it wasn't the latter. "Just come out already, like, for crying out loud," she muttered irritably. "I know you're here somewhere..."

The first thing that Super Sailor Tsui was willing to admit was that jumping into the dumpster was a very, very bad idea, as not only was she assaulted by one of the most pungent, disgusting smells ever to hit her nose (which thankfully wasn't as sensitive as the animal of her sphere's), but the feral cats she nearly squished did not approve of her impromptu dumpster dive. If it wasn't her aura that would give away her location, it was definitely the howling cat and the Senshi that emerged from the dumpster like a bat out of hell. Tsui had managed to stick her landing, surprisingly enough, and she tried to stand straight and face the Negaverse lieutenant with some amount of dignity, despite the banana peel and other bits of garbage that might have hung off of her outfit and hair ornaments. Perhaps the stench would chase off the lieutenant alone, though since when did fights EVER resolve themselves that easily. 'This is karma for laughing at that mohawked DMS, I'm sure...' Tsui thought to herself, trying to keep a straight face even though she was certain that she'd break into uncontrollable laughter if there was a mirror nearby. She decided to focus on her possible opponent instead, and she could not deny that she admired that hair of hers. Too bad she was a Negaverse lieutenant. "Sorry. Figured I'd try to get the jump on you... you know, being Senshi of Tigers. Still working on the stealth aspect, though." 'Don't laugh, Tsui, don't laugh... you're a serious warrior, dammit!'

"They have a senshi for that?" She blinked. Ok, she didn't know much about senshi, but...Tigers? WHATEVER. She was still a stupid prissy...well, SMELLY, like, well, skank (just using the word internally made her cringe) in a stupid dress. With a stupid tiara. Gag. Why did the sailor scouts have to be so darn OBNOXIOUS all the time? It was totally the worst.
Warmed by this sudden inexplicable animosity, she strode toward the other girl purposefully, heels clacking on the pavement. "Well, I think you're about to be extinct." She increased her pace, coming at the senshi in a run. Yeah! Being on the offensive - it just felt so right. Gypsum's lips curled into a tiny, smug grin.

"Of course! They have a senshi for everything... or will, eventually," Tsui said with a scoff, moments before she realized that the lieutenant wasn't going to play around for long. Perhaps she had grown used to the other encounters, where they'd introduce each other and then either proceed to argue or fight, and yet, she didn't mind the change of pace with this lieutenant. Straight to the point; Tsui was no good with words herself, not without sounding like a rambling fool, so she could definitely get behind this one. Which was exactly what she was planning on doing as her opponent ran straight for her. Again, she scoffed, trying to dodge to the right to avoid whatever weapon this one might be carrying (not that she saw one on her, but she wasn't willing to stay still long enough to find out what it was). "Good luck with that. I hear tigers are adaptable..." Garbage and various bits of trash fell off of her as she tried to dodge, curling her fists and preparing for the fight ahead. Tsui felt confident in her own abilities, but it wouldn't have been the first time a lower ranked opponent got the better of her. Her pride was STILL recovering from that blow... maybe she could redeem herself here? Ravvlet I'M SO SORRY I OVERLOOKED THIS IN MY RP QUEUE! FORGIVE MEEEEEEEEE!
