((Backdated to weekend of OCT 12th-14th))

Lily sat in the seat on the plane feeling extremely nervous, now that the excitement of the situation had died down. She had changed clothes during the escape, but had to change back to board the plane, wanting to avoid suspion. Now she sat waiting for the plane to start moving and trying not to bit her lip. She looked out the window out to the airport and frowned before placing her forehead against the glass. She knew she had to do this, she knew it was worth the trouble, she just wishes that all of it wasn't necessary to begin with.

She sat up upon feeling the plan move, her eyes watching the airport fade out of sight and the ground get smaller and smaller until she could not see the ground at all. There was an announcement and from the person beside he opening his laptop and putting on head phones she knew she could use her cellphone.

Lily had no idea what time it was in Destiny City, but she had promised Alex so many times that she would call him as soon as she was in the air so she pulled out her cellphone and dialed him, waiting for him to pick up, hoping he wasn't busy.

Without work today, he had the day off thankfully, Alexandre was up and spending his morning at a cafe having breakfast. It would be one of the last days they'd have side walk eating set up, what with the colder weather coming in soon. Sitting on the table his phone lit up and rung just as Alexandre was forking some of his omlet into his mouth. Making fast work of the food, so he could talk, he lifted his phone up while hitting th answer button on the touch screen.

"Lily? What's going on?" He hadn't spoken to her in a few days, he'd let her know during their last talk about some of her things arriving. He'd thanked her, rather enthuisatically, for some of the gifts she'd sent him as well.

Lily smiled hearing Alex's voice, "I promised I would call you didn't I. I had Rose take me shopping this morning," she said her excitment vibrating in her voice though she managed to keep her conversation hushed.

"I used the excuse and it bought me enough time to make it. I got all the way no problem and now I'm in the sky. The plane only just took off though so it will be several more hours before I land."

The converation wasn't cryptic in the least, but Lily kept it quite enough so that it didn't matter. Most people might think her whispered conversation was out of courteousness, but really she just didn't want to be heard. She didn't know how long he had before he parent knew what happened.

She leaned back head against the side of the plane, phone held to her ear with both hands. "The whole experience has been fun even if it has been a bit exhausting."

Oh! She was on the way! Nearly jumping out of his seat, it was bad enough he jumped enough to knock his plate and cup around, Alexandre settled down as he continued to listen to Lily. "Which airport, the main one or the smaller one?" He asked already planning to be there to pick her up when she landed.

"Your room has been ready, I unpacked and so long as you don't mind the sage colored walls it's all good. You need a new bed, and furniture." Since it had all been packed up and shipped with her to England. "We can take care of that tomorrow. If you want you can take my bed tonight." Since her room was just a mattress right now. He hadn't wanted to go ahead and get her anything big, not wanting to determine what her room would and wouldn't look like. Paint color could easily enough be changed.

"I'll let Johnathan know about your impending arrival before I go to get you." And he'd bring flowers for Lily as an arrival gift. Oh how he'd missed her! "Just give me a time for your arrival."

She gave a small laugh at Alex's obvious excitement. It calmed her nervousness and made her wish at the same time that she was already there. "I'll be arriving at the smaller airport. I thought that would be best as my parents are less likely to look there," she said softly.

She grinned when he said her room was ready, even if it didn't have any furniture. "I already told you I won't mind the sage color. You know I love green. I can't wait to see you. I'm so excited and of course I'll be in your room. I don't think I'd be able to sleep otherwise. I'm too wound up."

She laughed lightly thinking on the inpending shopping trip. She have Alex so she knew he'd help her pick out things. Her fashion since had gotten better over the years since she became a senshi and started really becoming less spoiled and more independent.

"Don't tell him," she urged, "It should be a surprise. I would rather it be a surprise." She reached up running her hair through her now very short curls. She didn't think her little plan would work out so well if Johnathan knew she was coming.

"Don't tell him, okay, Alex."

"I think I'll be too wound up also, so then movie night in my room?" He asked. Just like all those years growing up, spent together curled up in one or the other persons bed with movies playing. Half the time they never fell asleep and the other half the time they never could remember when they'd fallen asleep come morning.

"We'll have to make a whole day out of shopping.." Especially if her parents decided to cut her off in retaliation, though he couldn't picture her parents being that...cruel. But on the off chance it was a good idea to get that shopping out of the way.

"Alright, I won't tell him. He'll be surprised, though I have mentioned you a few times to him." Sipping his espresso, glad he hadn't spilled it, he sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. He'd actually left it loose this morning when he'd gone out, though he did have a hair holder on his person just in case.

"Alright, so the smaller airport, that is a good idea. It also makes getting there easier, less traffic due to it's size." Or lack there of.

Lily nodded, even though Alex could not see her. "Yes a movie night. I have not had one all summer. Please tell me you have a good movie to watch. I've been missing out on many things that would play first in DC, not in England."

She couldn't wait to spend the day with Alex. It was something she had really missed while in England. After a month she had not enjoyed the separation. There had once been a time when she and Alex were to busy to always be together, but it seemed like forever ago and Lily like the now of them. Best friends for life.

She sighed when Alex said he wouldn't tell his friend that she was coming. She knew he had told him of her but she doubted it would matter in the end.

"Yes, the small airport. In like so many hours. I do not know how I will survive this flight. I think I will have to watch a movie or something. Maybe I can find something on youtube. I think the plane has wifi."

"Hunger Games, for some action, and some romance movie then? Something classic?" He asked before adding to it. "Or something else completely? We can go on and off, you pick and then I pick and back again." They'd had their nights that would be all one genera, and than their nights where it would be random movie picks. It didn't matter really to him, the time spent together mattering most to him.

"I'd say find something on youtube, though you could maybe jus download a movie of your pick, start the movie night early." He said with laughter in his voice. And while waiting to leave for the airport he'd pick a few movies, if it was to be a night where each picked a few movies, and prepare anything else which should be prepared for the evening.

Lily grinned, "Oh yes I want to see Hunger Games, they books were very interesting when I read them. I bet the movie will be just as interesting. We can definitely switch off back and forth who gets to pick. Man I've missed you so much Alex. It's not been the same without you."

Lily pulled out her lab top booting up to find something to watch, headphone making their way into the side plug. "I think I will check out youtube. Listen to a few of my favorite songs, finish learning the words to a few song I fell in love with in the U.K. I promise I will call you when I get closer to the airport. I can't wait to see you. I am going to give you the biggest hug."

She gave a small laugh before saying her goodbyes and turned her attention to her laptop pulling up youtube and searching on of her favorite songs. She was about to click on one when she noticed another few down. She looked more closely and was instantly mortified by the title, "Firework Cover - Lily Blossom". She was even more mortified because her sister's face was the one on the video. Lily clicked instantly rewarded with her sister's voice. She sat wide eyed as her sister talked saying how good she was and how she though Lily would make it big someday. Her mortification only multiplied when she saw she was in her pajamas singing in front of the mirror, her sister filming her from a crack in the door. It was her room in her parent's house and the video was from before she moved out.

She didn't need to hear herself sing, she sung all the time, so she scrolled down to look at some of the comment. She smiled to see they were mostly nice comment about her being able to sing, even though she was slightly annoyed at the comments about her cuteness, marrying her or Rose, but mostly the ones about her pajamas.

She couldn't believe her sister was doing filming her and putting it on youtube. She looked to the queue to see there were more videos titled similarly. Looking through them some of them had been ones she knew about Rose having said they needed videos of them for the future, family gathering and the like. She found herself clicking video after video watching after video, torn between being angry at her sister or grateful her sister believed in her that much. Gratefulness won out in the end and Lily found herself making her own account and leaving a comment on Rose's latest video from her singing in the house in England just a few days before.

Quote:
You're amazing Rose. Thank you for believing in me like only you could! I am sorry I tricked you and I hope you forgive me <3 When I'm a famous singing and you a famour actress we will be quite the duo!

Lily watched a few more videos before falling asleep, slipping into dream about singing on stage for a large crowd. She didn't wake for some time, tired from the mornings ordeal. When she did wake she was nearly home which had on a search for her phone.

Finding it in her jacket pocket, she dialed Alex.

"I agree, the books are good." He'd managed to fit in reading them in between everything else. Finishing the books was a slow thing, but he'd finished them. The movie he had seen, but would more than happily see again, there was...certain eye candy in the movie (Cato and Peeta). "I've missed you as well Lily, you have no idea. It's...empty feeling at home."

Even though Johnathan was living with him. There was just that emptiness that Lily always filled, the talks at night, crawling into her bed after seeing a spider, he missed all the time together. They had all the time spent together growing up and so all the little stories, secrets, and could finish thoughts and sentences at times. They could refer to things and get a message across, it was just that good.

Saying his own goodbyes he hung up and went about finishing his meal and paying before he left. Walking off he wasn't sure if he should, or if he wanted to, go right home. He had time to kill and nothing to do right now. The day was spent after his meal with him walking about the city doing some shopping, for some warmer clothing, and other things.

He needed to spend the time in some manner before picking up Lily. It was into the evening and after dinner, he'd cooked chicken Marsala and served it with a salad, when his phone rang he was actually folding up some warmer blankets he'd bought. Sitting on the table by the front door was his phone, and he was in the upstairs hallway closet putting the blankets away. Hurrying downstairs he grabbed up his phone and hit answer.

"Lily?"

"Hey Alex. I'm nearing home now, not really sure how much time I have left but everyone seems to be awake now and eager to get off this plane. Still not quite there though."

She gave a small laugh then remembered what she found earlier, "Oh you will never believe what Rose did. Well you will believe, but I'm still reeling ... She has been putting videos of me singing on YouTube. I mean if you seach some of my favorite songs, you can find covers by me. I had no idea!"

Lily was shaking her head, but still she could help the laughter that followed her exasperation. She could see another person looking at her with a questioning glance, but she just smiled.

"Likely your close then, really close. I'll get going now and head for the airport." And it was getting on in the evening. She'd be home soon though and they could spend the night up watching movies, screw sleep. Looking around he quickly went about going upstairs to get his shoes, he kept them in his closet, and heading back downstairs he grabbed his keys from the table by the front door and his wallet as well. Calling out to Johnathan he headed out, not telling the blue haired male where he was going.

"I'm on my way now." He didn't even think about finding out when her plane would be landing, assuming it would be soon and he had to get to the airport and through the maze of parking lots and terminals.

"Somehow your right...I'm not shocked at all. Your sister isn't surprising in the least with this." He said shaking his head as he unlocked his car and got in. Climbing in he started up and pulled out of his parking spot, setting his phone down in a cup holder and clicking on speaker phone.

"Your sister doesn't surprise me. I'll have to see the videos tomorrow, since tonight is movie night."

Lily gave another chuckle and shook her head once more. "I'm so close. So close. In just a little bit I will be home. Away from crazy, but awesome sister, parents who gone all weirdo on me, and an over protective brother. I know I'm going to miss them, but I need this. I hope they won't be to mad. See you at the airport okay Alex."

She hung up and pulled out her ipod to listen to some music for the rest of her flight. It was probably less than an hour later she found herself being shuffled off the plan, carry on in hand, frowning slightly at having been pushed twice.

She knew she need to call Alex, but first she quickly slipped into a bathroom to change. She pulled on they boys clothes she had bought earlier and looked at herself in the mirror, trying to to giggle. The effect was she hoped just as she intended, Lily now looked like a boy, a pretty boy, but a boy none the less.

She slipped out of the bathroom and dialed Alex, "Hey I'm off the plane now, one my way down to main floor. I only brought my carry on, so I'll be quick. See you in a few minute."

She said goodbye and rushed excitedly to meet Alex. She missed him so much she was going to hug his so tight.

"Your parents did go weird. I still don't know why." And neither did his mother, though he wished he knew what had happened. He really wanted to know why Lily's parents had gone all nuts and kidnapped her, and her siblings, off to England. "I think your brother will understand this the most, understand you doing what you need to do for you." He was understanding and caring enough.

While Lily was up in the air he was on the ground making his way through traffic. It seemed that traffic, and luck, was against him. No surprise there really. He did make it but only just in time, in fact he was running into the terminal and looking around. His hair was loose and nearly out of it's holder, his bangs were free as usual and all about his face. He really had hurried his way here.

Answering his phone, all the while looking around, he answered it and held it to his ear. "Alright, I just arrived. Traffic was atrocious. But I'm here on the main floor waiting for you." And excited to see her again, if he didn't have the self control he did he'd be bouncing on his feet. But he stood there by the doors leading outside looking all around for familiar red hair even though he knew he wasn't likely to see it, he was so sure she'd have dyed it.

Lily knew Xander would understand and she also knew that it would most likely eventually be Xander who found her. She was only going to stay a night with Alex, for now anyway. She hadn't told him that, but if she stayed with him for longer they would find her for sure. She needed some time, she knew was going to have to force the issue of her staying when they found her and they would find her. She just needed some time, a little more time to think everything through, to handle the situation. She was all jumbled on the inside and right now she just wanted to throw her arms around Alex and hold on for dear life.

Backpack on her back, she makes her way through the airport shuffling around people and trying to get to the stairs near the escalator. Making it to the top of the stairs she grinned looking around trying to see if she could spot Alex among the people at the bottom. A few people gripped about her stand still and she was even pushed having to start down the steps. She bounded down excitement rising at finally after a whole summer, coming face to face with her best friend, her brother again.

At the bottom she moved toward the front door looking for Alex for several moment before she spotted him. She ran over with a grin on her face, she didn't even stop, instead flinging her arms out and grabbing him in a hug. "Alex," she said in her sing songy voice, Lily's voice, not realizing that at the moment she didn't really look like herself with short choppy curls and dressed up in boys clothing.

Looking around the ash blond hadn't spotted the red hair he'd been expecting, and he had been scrutinizing the whole area looking for familiar red curls. He'd been about to grab his phone and call her, see where she was and if she was off the plane yet. He knew it had arrived but had she managed to get off it yet? Then he found himself with someone rushing him and throwing there arms about him.

If he hadn't gotten used to being jumped, thanks to Johnathan, he would have fallen. As it was he nearly did as his knees felt ready to buckle under the sudden additional weight. Locking his knees he wrapped his arms about Lily and righted himself. "L-Lily?" Such short hair..and the clothing. Looking at what of her he could see as he was busy being in her arms. "W-what did you do?" He knew she was planning to dress up in order to get away from Rose but this? This was more extreme, in his opinion, than dying your hair. You could always redye your hair, even though he didn't like the idea of using chemicals on ones hair, but she'd cut it so short!

Lily hugged Alex tighter before letting him go and stepping back. "Don't worry Alex. It will grow back. I just want it to be less likely for someone to spot me if I go out. I don't want to be cooped up in the house all the time until I'm ready to confront my parents. They've called me twice already. You know they will follow me here, especially Xander."

She grabbed her best friends hand intend on leading him out of the airport, "Come on lets go Alex. You promised me a movie night remember? I intend to have that movie not as soon as possible. Or more like now." She grinned laughing lightly, "and you can show me how all the things I sent you fit. Rose helped me pick out stuff in the boutiques in England. We got stuff for Xander too. You can also help me to look more like a boy and help me fix my hair. It's not quite short enough."

She had to thinking about not bouncing excitedly in her steps, but she could hardly contain her current happiness. She was home, back in Destiny, with Alex and soon she could see Nate, Tony, Paris, Chris, Zia and everyone. She missed them all so much.

"I know they will follow you, I neve doubted that. I've been trying not to think on it though." Her parents, especially her father, were rather powerful people and intimidating when they scolded you or were upset, he'd grown up with them being a second set of parents to him. He'd had his fair share of scoldings from them.

"Xander too...?" He asked. He figured Xander would be too busy there. But then again he did care a lot for his sister and likely would come back for her, though he might just settle in when he realized that Lily wouldn't be giving in and moving back to England. "They can't force you back...they'll be upset with me for helping." They wouldn't, for one moment, think he was innocent in Lily's return to Destiny City.

"I think your hair is too short already...but we can see someone about it. I'm not about to try my hand at hair cutting." He wouldn't even trim his own hair, but he was also fussy like that. "We can go clothing shopping tomorrow...for male clothing for you." He said slowly, it really felt odd saying that to her. "I'll try on what you bought me tomorrow morning, before we go off shopping for you. So we can spend all night watching movies." He said smiling at the idea. It had been too long since he'd had a movie night with Lily. The most recent night spent watching movies had been with Johnathan and before that Michael.

Taking charge of leading the way from the airport, to where he was parked in the nearest lot, he smiled brightly in her direction. "I'm glad your home..."

"I'm trying not to think on it either, but I know eventually I will have to go give them an explanation and I just don't know what to say. I'm only avoiding them because I feel like I cave from feeling guilty and things won't go over well. I need to be able to talk to them calmly and explain things. I need to be here is not at all a good explanation and neither is missing you as you could have always come to England."

She gave her friend a sad smile but a smile none the less, "I'm going to make them understand. Destiny City is my home and I love it here even if weird things happen sometimes." She gave a laugh, "Did you hear there was a cake monster at the halloween ball two years year? Weird." She'd gone, but she doubted Alex knew that, she didnt remember telling him. "I wonder who they did it? What do you think? Bet it was a robot, huh?"

She laughed shaking her head and squeezed Alex's hand. "Glad to be home, Alex, glad to be home."

"Yeah...I know you. You will feel guilty and cave in." He spoke patting his friends shoulder. He knew her well enough to know she'd need the break between now and there arrival, or she'd just give in and return to England. She needed to be strong and calm in order to handle her parents. "I couldn't have gone to England, not with school. And if I had I wouldn't be dating either." He answered, a light pink staining his cheeks.

"No, I hadn't heard about that..." He answered wondering how Lily knew about this and he didn't. Just what had happened before he'd joined the Negaverse? he'd heard of torture but little to nothing else. This was another thing he hadn't been around for and didn't know about at all. "Talk about weird how about all those people who vanished last year, but than returned?" He said with something of a smile in his voice. That he at least knew about, and it was weird as hell. "It could have been a robot, just like everyone vanishing I'm sure was something besides them actually vanishing." He said laughing. "It's good to have you home!" Squeezing her hand back.
