I'm going to be taking my step-son trick or treating this year. We're dressing him up as Spongebob. Here's a picture of him dressed up. User Image
We dressed him up today because we took him to my nephew Cayden's 1st birthday/costume party. Cayden was dressed as Bam Bam.

Just curious of what everyone else has planned for Halloween.

The only thing I really like about Halloween is carving the pumpkins. I just can't wait until Thanksgiving. I'm thinking of starving myself the day before because I'm going to be visiting 3 or 4 houses for Thanksgiving.

starving yourself can actually make your stomach smaller so you eat less if anything eat a big meal the day before so your stomach is stretched.

anyway on the subject of halloween i have to work which is normal since its a wednesday and i work at a school but i'm sure we'll have a party there. i'm thinking of going to walmart and getting a kids umbrella and gluing christmas tinsel to it and getting a rain poncho and spraying them with glitter paint to make it look like its wet and going as a kid playing in the rain

What kind of work do you do for the school? Also you're idea sounds pretty cool and also sounds a lot like the look of your avatar.

That's a wicked date for getting married. Well at least when you have your anniversary, you could throw a slash costume party. My sister and her husband wanted to get married on 6/06/06, but her husband's mother is a Jehovah's witness and didn't approve so they married on 6/08/06 instead.

My job title is "Sign Language Interpreter/Aide" but I'm mostly an aide since the disabilties of my student are so severe ... but since the first week of school we've made more progress on little things then we have in the 4 1/2 years I've been there. This school year is so far going the best.

yeah it was great we didn't allow costumes or anything in the church but the reception was a "clothing required costume optional" event...the little kids in the wedding had wings for the girls that matched the orange dresses and the older ones wore masks coming it it was a lot of fun!

My fiance and I have been wanting to get married for a while. We just can't figure out a date for it yet. I would like to get married on New Year's Eve then have the reception when the ball drops on New Year's Day. The reason for that is because my cousin died on New Year's Eve and another friend of mine died a few hours later but on New Year's Day. I think that date would be perfect, because then we could celebrate 3 different things at once. New Year's, our wedding and the death of my loved ones. I like that date but the preacher I had in mind doesn't have the license to marry us in this state. Which sucks because that's throws us off the planned date we set. We've been talking about it and I think when we do finally set a date, it's not going to be anything big. I think we might just do what my sister did when she got married. Just go to the courthouse and buy a marriage license then throw an informal get together at our house.

yeah when we got married we had a pretty big one but we have lots of very close family so it worked out ... it has to be something that works for you

My fiance and I are going to be going on a double date with a couple friends to a haunted house called, "Dead Acres: The Haunted Hoochie". I guess we're going next weekend. It's basically 5 barns put together that you walk through. They said that if you don't like being shoved around don't come and also to wear old clothes because they are allowed to splash blood on you. I looked it up on youtube and it looks pretty scary. Here's a video of what to expect, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj200AXB02Y.

I had a bad experience at a haunted house when I was little and I have only been to one since ... I'm not to fond of them.
