The chilled night air rippled pleasantly around Chariklo's tall figure as she leaned casually against a shadowed wall and watched as her mirror wraith became more visible. She'd learned the folly of trying to tackle one of Destiny City's invisibles herself. Now, she simply left the work of siphoning energy to her wraith when it came to large, not-entirely-asleep homeless men. And she was careful to never drain them too much. There wasn't any reason to kill random people.
Besides, she thought wryly, too many bodies piling up and people would start to ask questions. She somehow doubted that Ares or Leto would appreciate the knowledge that she'd invited a massive man-hunt into the city. No, better to take a little and move on. With this happy thought, the mohawked Dark Mirror silently recalled her wraith and pushed herself from the wall. Time to go find another donator.
Sticking as closely to the shadows as possible, Chariklo prowled the quiet, chilled streets.

Super Sailor Tsui, the proud Senshi of Tigers, had embarked upon a quest that she was beginning to feel she could not accomplish, much to her own dismay. She had thought that perhaps the members of the Dark Mirror Court could be 'saved' or in the very least freed from their princess, but her recent run-ins with the likes of Toutalis and Remarque had left her feeling that it was an impossible task. Even Virtus seemed too far into the rabbit hole for her to be able to fish out, and that was perhaps more crushing to her morale than her failures with the other two. 'For a unified force to be reckoned with, they keep their individuality...' Tsui thought to herself as she carried on her nightly patrols. She was still doing her hunts alone, for the most part, but they weren't openly engaging or inviting for trouble. Merely observing patterns and keeping an eye on citizens in case they needed help, even if they didn't want it. 'Maybe there is no way to free them from Ares' grips... except to defeat Ares herself?'It was a brave and foolhardy notion, but one that even Tsui, as smug and confident in her own abilities as she was, wasn't willing to pursue just yet. She was a Princess, and Tsui was only a Super. Her failed endeavors against generals of the Negaverse and the god damn General-King himself were a rude awakening for Tsui, and until she got stronger, wiser, taking on Ares alone was suicide, simple as that. Though her underlings were still fair game. Tsui had caught wind of a vaguely familiar aura in the short distance, and her mind raced as to who it could have possibly been. It seemed like a basic rank, but they were just as dangerous when pushed into a corner, or if they were like herself and cared nothing for ranks and had nothing but sheer determination to fuel them. And rage. "Best go check it out... maybe it'll be someone worth talking to. Or in the very least, exchange a few blows..." So Tsui moved in that direction, preparing herself for either another failed conversation or another throw down with her Chaos counterpart. With Tsui, the latter was more likely.

The mirrorwraith was becoming a little too visible for Chariklo's taste. With a small sigh, she recalled it to it's shard and tucked it safely away. In this one thing she found herself envying the officers of the Negaverse. Their methods of energy collection really did seem easier. Ah well.
A ripple of energy sent a shiver up her spine. She was still learning, but she knew just enough to recognize the power aura of a White Moon senshi. One who was close. Fantastic. The tall senshi paused a moment, considering. Did she want to be found? Engage in pleasant conversation and most likely a few punches? She really hadn't encountered anyone from the White Moon since the ambush and she was curious. Moving a little deeper into the shadows, she made sure that she'd have a breath or two to study the other senshi before she herself could be seen.
Checking again to be sure her mirror shard was safely hidden, Chariklo waited in darkness for the other senshi to arrive.

It took a little longer than she had wanted to track down the Chaos signal, and she arrived with little thought or care for stealth. Though Tsui was the Senshi of Tigers, what was the point when the enemy could easily read her energy signature, as well as she could read theirs? She took a quick glance around the area, noting the darkness and unable to hold back her wry grin as she thought of all the many places the Dark Mirror Senshi could be hiding among them. "Figures you'd take to lurking in the darkness... does it replenish your strength, like Captain Planet and the sun?" Tsui asked, her question directed towards the Senshi that was hiding in the shadows. She kept her back turned to it, giving the illusion that she was 'unaware', if only to try and lure her out into the open. Of course, it meant that she was exposed, but since when did Tsui allow a little fear to get the best of her? If she (barely) survived an encounter with the General-King, then what fear did she have of a DMC? "Unless you're chicken. Wouldn't blame you, really!" Her eyes were alert and aware, looking for any sign of the DMC and preparing herself for the possible assault. She was willing to talk, for the most part, but if she was anything else like the others, it was likely that it'd just turn into a brawl. Either way, Tsui felt she was ready of either or.

Chariklo felt her lips pull back from her teeth in a humorless smile as the White Moon appeared on the scene. No thought for care or caution, ridiculously over-confident too, if the attempts at sass talkin' were any hint. One delicate eyebrow quirked at the attempt to insult and Chariklo shook her head and turned her attention to taking in everything about this swaggering twit.
And after a few moments, her first and foremost impression was "******** Catgirl". With a slight grin, she stayed perfectly still, letting the other girl wait.
"Chicken," she replied in a dryly amused voice. "Rich coming from someone who willingly follows a backstabbing b***h."
Only now did she pull away from the darkness, allowing her own self-confidence to be seen along with the sort of careless grace that came from an athletic lifestyle. Facing the White Moon senshi, she crossed her arms over her chest and grinned easily.
"Oh, I'm sorry," she spoke again, making her eyes wide and innocent. "Were those words too big for you, little kitty? Let me speak unto you in the language of your peoples. Wai wai! Desu kawaii, Neko-chwan!"
For good measure, she clasped her hands together in a stereotypical anime pose and batted her eyelashes at the other girl. Who cared if she was a little more powerful magically? If she was going to spout childish insults in an attempt to intimidate, Chariklo had no problems giving that sort of bullshit back tenfold.

Tsui wasn't sure what she was expecting to see when the Dark Mirror Senshi called her out and revealed herself, but to say that she was startled was an understatement. Not afraid or frightened by her sudden appearance, or rather her appearance in general, but her behavior was completely unexpected, given her... well... alignment and her appearance. Tsui never once thought or cared that the girl was trying to insult her; to get angry over her reaction would have given that strange action justification. Instead, all Tsui could do was laugh. She laughed hard. She wasn't even sure why she was laughing. Perhaps because she was simply caught off guard, or just how ridiculous the girl looked in her little show. Or maybe she was laughing at the very notion that it was meant to offend her in some manner, but Tsui was too humored by the strange display to be angry. No, all she did was laugh. "I'm sorry! You look absolutely ridiculous!" Tsui placed a hand over her mouth in a failed attempt to stop her howling laughter, but it was impossible. She had met many different types of characters in the Dark Mirror Court; some cold, some polite, some as nasty as can be. It appeared she finally met the jokester of the group, and it only made her laugh all the more. "I mean, what is even the hell? Princess Ares... she must keep you around to be her court jester or something... hahahahaha!" Any thoughts that she might have had before coming into this ordeal were simply pushed to the wayside now. All Tsui could do was laugh, long and hard. If that was her enemy's intentions, then it was mission accomplished!

Still smiling easily, though there was a hint of coldness in her sunset eyes, Chariklo continued to keep her tone light and body seemingly relaxed.
"You shouldn't lie," she said casually. "You're not sorry and you know it. Besides, anyone who dresses like a ******** catgirl shouldn't accuse others of ridiculousness. I mean, seriously dude? Metal cat ears? I can see where they'd be more durable than the cloth kind. Still. Did you not get the memo that catgirls are the ********' bane of all right-thinking people?"
Then, with the slightest edge to her voice, she added after a moment, "Just like the White Moon."
And just like that, Chariklo had made her decision. This one wasn't worth trying to talk over. Maybe not worth killing, but certainly not worth her own effort. That this encounter would come to blows wasn't something that bothered the Dark Mirror. That the girl before her was a Super didn't bother her. She'd been brawling long before Ares had saved her. She might get beat up a bit, but she'd make damned sure that the White Moon senshi had a few bruises to remember her by before it was done.

Again, Tsui heard her words and knew that she should have been offended. She rather liked her attire, especially since her upgrade as she now at least looked like the animal of her sphere. She rather liked her metallic head band, the puffs of fur as they offered her some warmth during the incoming chill of the fall, and she really, REALLY loved her boots, as they were stylish and meant for kicking a**. Something that she was certain she was going to be indulging in within a few moments, as her laughter simply could not be contained. Cat girls are the bane of existence? As is the White Moon Court? Was this Senshi TRYING to troll her, entice her into getting angry and charge forward. That, tied with her mile-high mohawk, only tickled her all the more. Finally, she was able to stiffen it, at least long enough to figure that this senshi would likely be willing to fight now. She curled her fists and tensed her shoulders, but she was still fighting the chuckles as she stood ready for her assault. "Alright, fine... let's do this, before I do something else that'll get you in a tizzy... though, I don't think I ever laughed this hard since forever... so maybe I will."

Still laughing. Seriously? Chariklo didn't consider herself one of Nature's Stand Up Comics, but hey, you worked with what you had. And if laughter kept Neko-chwan a little off balance and distracted, so much the better. Grinning easily, Chariklo seemed the epitome of relaxed, calm amusement. And then, she launched herself fast at the other girl, fist already pulled back and speedily swinging out towards the White Moon senshi's gut.
She knew it was a risky move and almost everyone would have insisted that she go for the face instead. Broken noses and jaws were messy and a little too painful. Chariklo preferred the gut. Winding one's opponent was always a good idea. It kept them from bouncing back too quickly. And if this hit landed, it would give her a good few seconds to practice her Boot to the Head (Nyah Nyah) move. Besides, just because she wanted to hurt the other senshi didn't mean she wanted to hurt her. Ares wouldn't thank her for that.
Oh, a wicked little voice deep in her mind whispered, this was going to be fun!

There was a saying that Tsui had heard many times before but never truly believed in. That saying was 'Karma's a b***h'. Tsui never believed in karma, until now, anyways. In truth, Tsui felt that she could have dodged the blow- she had dodged quicker blows before, hadn't she? Yet, she had not only underestimated her opponent's speed, but her strength, and just how deceptive her demeanor was before the fight, as she felt that blow hit her at full force, even when she tried to back away from it. Tsui thought that she was a strong Senshi, that being in Super rank would have given her the ability to shrug off blows. Well, she thought wrong. The blow was enough to knock not only the laughter out of her but the wind as well, as Tsui slumped forward. If she had breath, she'd make a comment about cracking jokes about the wrong Senshi, or how this would be no laughing matter, but she simply had no breath left. 'Lesson learned... this one doesn't have a sense of humor!'Once she got her breath back, she'd have to get serious... assuming it ever came back.

From over the slumped senshi came the sound of popping bones. Just as if whomever owned those bones were crackling her knuckles in supreme satisfaction with herself.
Which was, in fact, exactly what Chariklo was doing. Still grinning, though this time there was a distinctly blood-thirsty gleam deep in her sunset eyes, she considered the other girl, backed up a few steps, and then spun around in a roundhouse kick designed to hit the winded senshi, not in the head (that would've been mean), but in the shoulder. If it connected, it wouldn't break the bone, but it would leave a bone deep bruise that would make using the arm a lot harder.
And even as she swung her leg around, her natural inclination towards sass-talkin' bubbled back up to the surface.
"Thanks for flying 'I'mma Kick Your a** Air', Neko-chwan. I'm Sailor Chariklo, Senshi of Seagulls and I will be your pilot for today's little jaunt into Havingyourasshandedtoyou-land. Please enjoy your flight and don't choke on the peanuts!"

"Sea-gulls?" Tsui growled breathlessly, feeling bile rising up in her throat, or perhaps that was blood? She had no time to see which one it was, as she could see Chariklo backing up. It either meant she was going to mock her, or deliver another devastating blow, and Tsui wasn't too surprised to see her do, well, both. Her bite was definitely worse than her bark, and Tsui dropped to the ground in hopes of avoiding the roundhouse kick all together. If her legs were as strong as her fists, then she couldn't afford to take a blow from that kick! The leg flew over her head but just barely, and though she scraped her knees and a palm on the pavement, Tsui would gladly take bloody knees over the kick. She tried to regain her breath, though her body wasn't able to keep up with her growing anger to have been bested by the other Senshi. She went for a strike of her own, curling her fist and charging at the other Senshi despite being off balance and still trying to catch her breath. She couldn't even stand up straight yet, but she'd be damned if she didn't try! "I-hate-seagulls!"

Off balance she might have been, but Chariklo still grunted softly as a fist made introductions with her her side. Wincing slightly at the sudden ache in her ribs, the senshi of seagulls skipped back a step and eyed the other girl carefully. She could barely breathe, but she was trying to fight back. It was impressive. And if she hated seagulls, then she probably wasn't going to enjoy what was coming next.
In a soft, hissing whisper, Chariklo called up her attack, "Mobbing Call!"
And in the space of barely a breath, she heard and felt the odd, squawking shriek burst out of her, calling up the magical energy that would make the already injured senshi feel as if large wings were buffeting her head around. It wouldn't last long, but it would be long enough for Chariklo to, hopefully, get in another good punch or kick. Hell, maybe even a tackle. She wasn't picky.

At first Tsui was humored, eager to fight. She always liked a good fight and in truth, it was far more true than this whole 'talk to DMC' ordeal that she had forced herself to do, for others' sake. But now she was getting angry. Very, very angry. She was ready to push aside all of Sutai's pleas and just strike at this girl, and she wasn't sure if she'd stop... "Mobbing call? What?" Tsui was clearly unprepared for the attack, and before she could prepare herself, it felt as though there were hundreds of wings, flapping, beating around her head and shoulders and, well, everywhere! She hated seagulls and she was ready to start punching away at them, but there were no seagulls to be seen! This was too familiar to her, too terrifyingly close to a memory when she was younger, on the beach with Maddy and her parents. What was suppose to be a pleasant dessert falling onto the sand was a nightmare for the three year old girl, as seagulls flocked all around her. She gave a scream, much like she had done in the past, but this time there was no caring father that ran into the mob to save her. She only had herself... and magic of her own. She tried to summon it, even as she tried to duck and dodge out of the attack but to no avail. It was no use! She couldn't concentrate on her magic, not while this one carried on. She tried to look up and see where her opponent had gone, but it was hard to see with her own hair and bangs in her face. "Dammit!"

Oh. Chariklo blinked at the White Moon senshi's reaction. Now that had been utterly unexpected. Yelling and some flailing she considered normal. Freaking the hell out was something new. And far be it for Chariklo to ignore the gift of major distraction that the gods had just handed to her on a silver plate.
Moving quickly, knowing that the magic wouldn't last much longer, she darted in behind the other girl and charged forward. There would be no punch this time, no kick. No, this was going to be the mother of all tackles. And her target was the middle of the other senshi's back. She didn't want to break bones, not really. She'd settle for bruising and sending the other girl's face skidding across the pavement.
Of course, there was always the chance that the other'd move before Chariklo could make physical contact, but she was willing to take that chance. Hell, any chance to knock a White Mooner down a peg or two.
