And I'll always have my 10g backup just incase or if we get a new fishie (kinda thinking about getting a betta :X )

Oy that's hard work!!

The stand my 10g is on just would not hold the weight of the 20g so I had to trade my husband for his space heater which holds my weight (don't ask razz But I've done the math so I know it'll be 160ish) and is a nifty looking thing as it has a fake fireplace in it. Decided to turn it on to be a night light.

Waiting for hubby to bring the tank in so I can rinse it a bit and get started on transferring the old water to the new tank.

Just waiting on everything to run through the filter and the water to cool down a bit before putting my poor fishies into the tank. They are sooooo unhappy :<

So I didn't realize how much wider it was so my already modified cover just won't do. Will be picking a new one up in probably two weeks :X Might just look on CL for a cheap cover.

They look so unhappy :< Sorry for bad quality, my camera is somewhere and my phone's quality is poo.

:X Hopefully I can con hubby out of his tv stand. It's only hanging over maybe three inches I think >.<

Do you suppose I could buy bricks to stack up on either side to relieve some of the stress for the time being?

You can get a price of ply wood. That'll help some for the time being.

And put it under the tank? Just clarifying, brain is foggy today

Yes. Drain the tank (enough to lift it, though fully would be best) place the plywood ontop of the stand, and put the tank back and full it back up.

FINALLY mwahaha.

I was originally going to ignore my birthday next Friday and ask for a fancy cup of coffee when I wake up but I remembered... birthdays are perfect excuses to get things you really need. And I really needed a real stand.

We initially went to Petco to let my son pick out a new fishie. But when I saw a stand for a 29gal tank for $50 I could not pass that up. I double checked the specifications and as you can see it works perfectly.

I do still need an updated cover for the 20gal but that can wait until next pay check, I think. Important things first, after all.

Not sure what to name our new fishie. Adrien was more interested in the guinea pig and ferrets than really getting a fish so my hubby picked it out (he picked out Fluffy which means from now on he picks out all fish).

Aw what a cute little fantail! Where's the other little guy?

20 longs and 29's have the same foot print wink

Birthdays are the perfect excuse for fish stuff! LOL
