Mya is a 15 year old girl that's dating the cutest, and most popular boy in school, Evan. Things go great in the beggining, until she's diagnosed with leukemia. She starts to get really sick, and Evan leaves her because he can't handle the stress and all of her needs. Evan's best friend, ________ however, thinks he's being a total jerk and confronts him about it. After Evan seems careless seeing how he already has a new girlfriend, ______ steps up and takes care of Mya. They eventually start dating. Will _____ treat her right?

Mya was walking to school unaware that it would be the worst day of her life. She had now been struggling with leukemia for weeks, and thought it couldn't get any worse. "Hey babe" She said as she approached Evan. "...Uh hi Mya, listen. Not to be an a*****e or anything but I need my space, you know? Maybe we should take some time, see new people." He said, walking away from his locker. Mya stood there frozen for a minute, letting her heart sink down to her feet.

"Uh, Hi Eric." She said, but Evan continued to walk away, ignoring Eric and Mya. Mya wanted to show that she was strong, even though she was about to break down and cry.

Mya nodded her head and put her arms around him and tucked her head into his shoulder, balling her eyes out. "I-I loved him and he left me at my worst, how am i gonna get though this all alone?" She said, stuttering throughout almost every word. It was hard to understand because she was crying and her face was tucked in.

Mya looked up at him, with her big brown eyes. "R-R-Really?" She said sniffling. "You really don't have to do that." She made out. She was so surprised, she figured if Evan was gonna be an a*****e, then he would too.

She choked on her laugh, and hugged him even tighter. "I couldn't thank you enough for all of this, really" She said, wiping the tears from underneath her eyes, and calming down.

"Sure." She said with her arm around his side. Evan looked back at the two of them, and Mya instantly looked away and pretended not to see him. "Oh, so you're a homie hopper huh." Evan said running up to them, pushing her hand out from under his waist.

"Oh look who finally grew a sack. She's my ex as of 10 minutes, get some ******** respect, man." Evan said, pushing Eric into a locker. Mya feel to her knees on the ground, and just sat there and started at the both of them bicker back and forth.
