Apart from plot-related developments, Halloween on Gaia is notable for one other thing: Shopkeeper cosplay. Considering who we are and what this organization's about, I figured this'd probably get at least a few laughs out of y'all:



If you can't immediately identify who Mintaka and Rigel are going as, shame on you.

So! Any other thoughts on the current crop of cosplays? How do they compare to the efforts of previous years? Any personal favorites, past and present? Planning on dressing up for the occasion or just going as yourself, either on Gaia or IRL? (I know all this may not warrant its own thread, but the actual event forums aren't quite operational yet, and I just wanted to share, generate discussion, and just generally breathe a little more life back into this dormant agency.)

Actually, when you look back at the archived costumes on Gaiapedia (2k11, 2k10), there are more anime/manga-themed costumes this year than in previous years.

Halloween 2k12: Rufus, Moira, Louie, Liam, Carl, Rina, Becky, Kanoko, Radio Jack, Murasaki (10 total)
Halloween 2k11: Ian, Sasha, Ruby, Sam, Becky, Kanoko, Radio Jack (7 total)
Halloween 2k10: Ian, Moira, Louie, Rina, Brennivin, Radio Jack (6 total, 7 if you count the Wing Scout who was going as Totoro that year)

Still, there's always a good amount of variety no matter what the year.

My favorites this year are Ian as 11, Buildeu as a classic Gameboy.
