So, I play this game called Pirate101 and one of the pirate classes is Witchdocter and she does spells and in the game they call it hoodoo.
Now im not sure if this is haram or halal i just play it for fun, I don't worship it or practice any of what is potrayed in the game. My character isn't even from that class. I just wanna know if the same rules of magic in islam applies to games also.

Witchdoctors are masters of the arcane, using the powers of hoodoo to rig the outcome of combat. While weak in a direct fight, Witchdoctors never fight fair - hexes that weaken foes, blasts of fire that strike at range, and summoned spirit allies all turn the odds in a Witchdoctor's favor.


Masters of the Dark Arts


Witchdoctors master hoodoo and the dark arts. Through their training they can learn the Mournsong power which summons spirits to drain the health of their enemies.

I don't think it's really haram..but, try to keep the volume low or mute the background music. Try not to listen to any music.. Other than that...I guess it's alright. But, it might be a little like a time wastage thingy... confused
