After running into Nickeline, Aventine figure she should probably avoid alleyways for a while. They were too dangerous, and too unpredictable, she told herself.
Aventine, however, apparently did not listen very well—even to herself—as she was now meandering through a few less than evil looking alleyways. She hadn't found any trouble all evening—at least, not in the form of Negaverse agents, youmas or Dark Mirror Senshi.
She had found trouble, however, in the sense that somewhere along the way, she had gotten lost in the labyrinth of back alleyways. Powered up, she couldn't very easily access her phone and check for GPS, but she'd be damned if she powered down, here. She didn't know who was watching and figured it would be safer if she stuck with the power boost in case she needed to make a quick getaway.
It was with a heavy sigh that she turned another corner, disappointed that exit didn't seem to be anywhere nearby. A part of her wanted to call for help, to see if anyone would be able to point her in the right direction—another part of her very, very badly did not want to run into anyone in this crummy area.

Well good thing this cat was still up because he was an expert on alleyways. He knew them like the back of his paw. If anyone could get this knight out of this so called labyrinth it was him.
Pippin had just successful steal a 24 golden krt watch out of the jewelry store early that day and he was sitting in one of his favorite alleyways on an own mattress playing goggly eyes with it. He didn't looked up from it until he sense an aura near by and he gave a smile. It had been a long time since he meet a new person so he had to go find where this aura was coming from. He smiled and gently put the watching over his head and smiled. It was just big enough to fit with ease around his neck. He sometime loved being a small kitten. He hopped down from the mattress and started his quest to make a new friend.
He quietly walked around not to wake up the nasty alleyway dogs until he reach something that was tall, pink, and human. He gently walked up behind her and spoke. "HELLO THERE! I'm Pippin and your a very pretty knight!"
The thought of scaring the living carp never even past through his mind.

The shrill voice was the equivalent of blaring a loudspeaker and there was no doubt that she had been expecting anyone to find her; even if Pippin had an aura, she'd been too engrossed in working through the area to know to look for it. Spinning to face the cat, she wore a shocked expression. "Jesus, don't scare me like that!" she exclaimed, hand immediately going to rest over her heart as she tried to calm down.
She couldn't even appreciate the compliment until her heart wasn't beating so quickly, and even then she still planned to hold a grudge against him.
…Oh, God, but how could she? He was so cute, and small, she just wanted to…
Aventine didn't think about it; she knelt, scooped the kitten up, and then smiled, poking him lightly on his little nose. "Oh, never mind. You're too cute to be mad at. You're a guardian cat, Pippin?" she prompted, figuring it was a fairly rhetorical question; she'd met a few cats that could speak and had that cute little star on their forehead, so even if it was still a little weird, she was gradually getting used to the idea of magical talking cats.

He blinked in utter shocked. He had not excepted that, nope not at all. His eyes were as big as golf balls and he just stood there is shock. The sound that came out of the woman's body was horrible if not numbing. He raise both if hands as if he was trying to defend himself for her attacking him. "Sorry! Sorry! I really didn't mean to scare you. I thought you might know that I was around because of my aura....my regrets that you didn't..." he said looking off still unsure if he could hear or not.
He was not ready for what was about to happen and let out a small cute squeak in surprise that the female was actually picking him up. He smiled and gently scrunch up his nose as she poked it. He gave out a small laugh and smiled again. He still was in a bit of shook state so he truly wasn't sure what was all going on. "Yes I am! A very good guardian cat to boot!" he said with a big grin.
"Well I'm glad that you're not mad at me anymore because I was worried that you would yelled again and I'm not sure if my little body could take. I would become deaf." he said blinking wiggling his ears making sure that he had all his hearing back.

"Oh, my goodness! I'm sorry!" Aventine said, voice now softer than it was. "You just scared me! I was wandering around here, all by myself. It was dark, kinda spooky." She didn't add, yet, that she had absolutely no idea where she was. How could she even think to do that when she'd snagged such an adorable little thing?
She just couldn't keep her hands off of him, and even as she carefully held the little kitten in one hand, she went to scratch behind his ear with the other. "What's a cute little thing like you are! What are you doing back here, anyway? It doesn't seem like a really charming place, and," she tilted her head, eying the watch around his neck. Her eyes flicked from the gold to his face. "…Either someone out here is throwing away expensive little trinkets or you've got someone very wealthy back home that's probably missing you very much."
Not that she'd ever seen anyone use a watch for a collar before, but—hey. The rich could afford their quirks.

He looked up and giggled."It's fine. No worries Miss....Errr! What's your name. I do better with names. I like names actually because they are easier to use then sir names!!" he paused to look to her and the continue, "And yes it is pretty spooky! Very SPOOKY!" he said with a "oooo" sound.
He gave a small purr to the ear scratch. He like this women a lot. She was like putty in his hand and he enjoy that. She was giving him all her attention and he like that too. As she asked her question he looked up to her with the most pitiful kitty face ever letting some wet kitty tears fill up his eyes. "I was looking for a home. I just walked around all these streets hoping that I can go home and snuggle with someone. And I walked up to you because you looked like the perfect candidate! I would love to come back and snuggle with you for the night and then maybe we could eat some pancakes with lots of syrup in the morning and I could teach you things about senshi if you have any questions." he said lying through his teeth. Well most of it was a lie. He actually did want pancakes with syrup in the morning and he could tell her things about his wonderful fraction. But he did have a home. Many of them actually but one more couldn't hurt, right? Plus she was in such a pretty outfit, she had to be wealthy which meant that they could go shopping and buy shinnies which lead him to talk once again! "Oh! And we could go shopping after eating! Wouldn't that be perfect?" he said looking to her with wet eyes.
He was good real good but the next question caught him off-guard. He had forgotten about that silly old watch and after looking at it again it wasn't as shinny as he thought it was. "Oh this old thing...Um well you see I was out here looking for someone and I just happen to see it off in the distance and went to see what it was and found it!" he said witha big grin. "Isn't that neat...." he said quickly slipping it off his neck and handed it to her. "Take it! As a gift form me!" he paused for a second to ponder something and then went one. "I hear something like this go for about 500 dollars in jewelry store! won't you sell it at one of those nifty online auction thingy and make some money! Again a gift!...Um House warming gift! How about that?" he said with a big smile.
He nodded his head to himself with a smile. Yep, that should keep her happy. If she wasn't rich then this extra money would make her happy and if she was then she could just give it back. Either way it would work out for the cat. He couldn't have another person look down on him for stealing. Vanadis did and it broke his little heart...luckily he was a master at lying so he convince her that he was doing it because he thought it was the right thing.Kyuseisha no Hikari Gosh. Pippin is something else.

Aventine blinked down at the cat; at first she had been moved by his little kitty tears and the tale of his plight—and then he was trying to give her some watch he thought was super expensive? Maybe he'd been out here eating trash for too long. "Oh, well—are you sure?" she blinked, looking at the watch. It definitely wasn't her style, and if it belonged to someone who had lost it, she probably should turn it in to the police station.
…But, five hundred extra dollars…
She could use some new shoes…
—No. No, she really should just return it to the police station.
She cleared her throat, hoping that would tear her mind away from the watch. "Well, how about I hold on to it for a little bit, and if you want it back before you leave tomorrow, I'll be more than welcome to give it to you. Oh—and, sorry. I'm Aventine," she introduced. "But," she immediately resumed petting the kitten. "You can definitely come home with me. It's too dangerous for you out here! And I can…" she hesitated, before saying, with a bit of hesitance in her voice, "I can definitely whip up some pancakes!"
Cooking seriously wasn't her forte—but this little cat must have been eating rodents and leftovers. He wasn't going to be picky, right? —Besides. Worst comes to worst, she could always drown the pancakes in syrup and butter.

His face dropped. He knew what she was thinking and this was not good. She wasn't going to keep the watch, which meant one of two things. She would bring it to the jewelry shop that was close to hear and get in trouble for stealing or bring it to the police and still get in trouble for stealing. Which in any case was not good. He looked down at the watch and then up to her. "Um....I'm sure I don't want it. It's yours to do whatever you want with it. Just don't bring to the police or any jewelry store for me. Can you promise me that? I think um...the best thing to do with it is just use to get some extra cash. I know this stuff, trust me!" he said lying through his teeth. He gave a huge grin as to try and persuade her.
"Aventine! What a wonderful name. I love it's so pretty just like you!" he said with a huge smile. She was very pretty and he still wondered how she manage to get herself lost without any prevent trying to hit on her. The thought just made him shudder. He really dislike people like that and wondered why they would even do things like that. "But yes, Pancakes! I love them!" he said lapping his hand together. While Aventine was initially suspicious about how eager Pippin was to discourage from handing the watch over to some sortof authority, as soon as she complimented him it was easy to brush those thoughts aside. "Aww," she cooed, "You're just adorable!"
She lifted Pippin to her face and nuzzled him, rubbing her cheek against the little cat. It was until after she was cooing again that she realized Pippin, Guardian cat or not, was probably a dumpster cat, and she had no idea what he had gotten into before she'd found him. "But, uhm. You know. Before I can take you home and make you anything, I…need to figure out how to get out of wherever we are now. Do you think you can help me out, here?"
The buildings all looked the same, the alleyways all smelled the same—and even if she could see the stars, she didn't know enough about astronomy to let them guide her anywhere. She had half a mind to try climbing up one of these buildings, but considering the state of one of them, she doubted she'd make it up more than a few feet before they started crumbling.

He let out a small giggle and smiled. He was hers, no doubt about it! He didn't have to worry about this anymore more. He knew that she would not being it to the cops and that she would not get in any trouble which was a good thing.
He let out a small purr from the nuzzling and nuzzle her cheek right back. He couldn't help this times. In these times he acted like a cat the most, which was hard for him because he loved to picked up and cuddle, it was one of his favorite past times. He smiled and his eyes lit up! "Oh I can do that! I know these alleyways inside and out! I can help you! I know I can!" he said with a happy grin on his face.
He lightly jumped out of her hands and shake himself off and started to walk the way, he knew how to get out here. "Follow me, Aventine!" he said with a small purr.

"All right, I'm coming," Aventine replied, unable to resist grinning. She was a bit sad that she couldn't snuggle Pippin anymore, but if she had to give him up to find her place out of here, she was certain she'd manage. Her eyes on him as they walked, she couldn't help but coo. His legs were so tiny! Was any type of creature supposed to be so cute?
It was a struggle not to pick Pippin up and snuggle him again, and it was only out of desperation for a nice hot bath that she managed not to crouch down and start petting him again. "But I'm gonna say it as many times as I have to—a cute little thing like yourself doesn't need to be out here all by himself! These alleys are weird. I hope you're staying away from Chinese joints and people that smell funny. I'm sure they'd both be eager to just gobble you up!"

Pippin was moving fast, which he knew wasn't fair to the page as she didn't know her way around here but he knew the faster he was at her house the faster he would be feed with yummy pancakes. And he loved pancakes so he had to move fast! It only made sense.
He looked back at her as she spoke again and let out a small laugh. "Aventine! Please, I'll be fine. I'm a very smart and cunning kitty. I know how to get myself out of anything...well almost anything but that doesn't matter. I'm more worried about you! You don't even know how to get out of here!" he said witha small smile, hoping he didn't offend her.

If anyone else had said that, Aventine might have gotten huffy or offered some argument about how she was far more capable than she was being given credit for—but with Pippin? With such a cute, precious, innocent little creature? Obviously he meant no harm by it. She laughed, taking large strides so that she didn't lose him. "Oh, don't worry about me. I'd have found my way out eventually! I just got a little over excited and wasn't…exactly…"
She looked over her shoulder, thinking the alleyways still all looked exactly the same. Snapping her attention back to the cat in front of her, she continued hurrying after him. "I wasn't exactly paying attention. I didn't realize these alleys went back so far. I was thinking like, maybe one twist or turn—not a whole maze!"

Pippin wasn't as innocent as he seemed and every movement he was doing was making him go faster to the pancakes that he ever so wanted. He couldn't help using his small little adorable body to get what he wanted, it was in his nature. And in a war like this, ever skill that you had you had to use it and oh did this cat know how to use his body to get what he want. ( u Au Oh gawd that sound wrong but oh so true. *shot* )
He looked up to her and gave her a small cute smile and scrunched up his nose and shook his faces. "No worries Aventine, I understand! I get excited too! I'm moving fast because I'm so so excited to see your home and get snuggle up with you!" he said with a cute adorable giggle. Yep, this cat knew what he was doing and no was not as innocent as this Page thought he was.

That giggle was precious, and it was so hard for the page not to just coo at him. But she had bigger things distracting her—mainly, were those lights up ahead? Was the smell of food getting stronger! She could almost swear she heard people talking in the distance. Surely they had to be close to finding their way out of this maze?
Pancakes were even sounding good to her—and she typically disliked them!
"Oh, Pippin, I just want to take you home and keep you forever." Snuggle up with her? …Maybe she could even sneak him into a bath! Though, that might scare him off. If her food didn’t, first.
She shook her head, dismissing negative thoughts. Maybe tonight she'd make the perfect pancake and he'd love it so much that he'd never want to leave! "I might have to. In case I ever need someone to be my little hero again, or help me figure out these weird senshi and knight things."
