She turned her head towards the cheetah. Did he always get up this much eariler then her? She hadn't noticed it if he did. She always thought they got up at pretty much the same time.
But back to the issue at hand, Jaryx might just leave her all of sudden! She didn't want that, she liked travelling with him. But how could she convince him to stay? She probabley couldn't, and the worst part was if he left she wouldn't be able to follow him. Not at least, until she could run for long distances.
The sprain in her paw was almost completely healed by now, and she could hunt again without any issues. The only problem was that it seemed to hurt a bit still while she ran. Ru'yah wouldn't be able to follow Jaryx without becoming tired fast, and that wouldn't be fun. Well, she could always try to covince him to stay, and hope for the best. That seemed like the best option at the moment, she could result to other measures if she needed to later.
And so, she purred out her standard greeting: "Good morning."

The lioness felt a ping of hurt when he told her that. They might not have been traveling together long, but she had been enjoying it. Becoming accustomed to the cheetah's company. Him leaving, she felt like crying at the thought. But, he was right. They were bound to go their seperate ways eventually. Eventually, not now. Not in the near future, right? Right?
She sighed, and placed her head back on the ground. "I guess so..." She masked the need to beg him to not go. If he wanted to go, she wouldn't be able to stop him forever. And as much as it hurt her inside, she was forcing herself to accept she was going to lose her best friend soon. Though, she wondered what he considered her... No. She had to have some hope that her nightmare wouldn't become a reality. It was just a nightmare after all. It couldn't possibly effect Ru'yah's reality.
Oh, how wrong she was...
