She let out an irritated grunt, standing on a fallen tree. This place... it wasn't like the mountains at ALL. It was so... moist. Knocks down trees' coat felt heavy and sticky from the water- she longed for the cold and dry air of the mountains. She sighed and stepped back into the waters of the swamp before turning and, quite harshly, rammed her head into a tree in frustration, scaring several birds from it's branches.

Shooting Far's head shot up, hearing a loud thud noise not too far away from him. Thoroughly disgruntled, he craned his neck through the humid swamp, calling out to whoever it was, "Hey, hey, you know some kimeti like to sleep at this time of day!" He sighed, shifting his position and trying to go back to sleep, but the noise had shaken him wide awake. The kimeti rolled over onto his side, feeling the mud seep into his short fur and sighed loudly again.
If he was this awake, he might as well get up and save his nap time for later. Not that he was happy about it.

She turned a sharp eye at the voice that addressed her. A kimeti. And from the sounds of it, a lazy one. "Some of us are wide awake. Why should I make a special allowance to be quiet for you?" Really, him sleeping would be an inconvenience to her right now.

Shooting Far's eyes narrowed in annoyance, "Well, for starters maybe because this place happens to be my home." he replied with a grunt, eyeing the Totoma. "From the looks of it, you don't seem to belong in this humid, swampy place, do you now?"
Where did she come off, stumbling and crashing into his neck of the swamp and causing this whole ruckus, anyways?

"I didn't see your name on it." She snapped back. Honestly, this kimeti. No signs that he was there, sleeping all hours of the day, and then getting mad at her? Like it was her fault? "Who are you to say I don't belong here anyways?" Trees stomped her hoof.

The kimeti wrinkled his nose, "I dunno, we don't usually see Totoma here.", he replied dully, "Aren't you sweltering out here? Cause I sure ain't."
"Also, you see those scratches in the trees?" Shooting Far motioned over to the nearby trees, "Those are from my horns, so I'm pretty sure this is my place." he stated matter-of-factly.
