Um, guess I'll go first then. Ah, new-guild-nervousness.
Hi, I'm Muffin. The name is old, but everyone knows me by it so I'm stuck with it. xD Anyway, I'm from the UK so GMT time. I've only joined a few wolf rps because I like them to be realistic and too many I've found have had magic powers or weird colours and other stuff like that. Luckily this one suited my tastes great, so I'll be starting on the two ideas for characters I have soon and hopefully get loads of RP done with them. biggrin

Well so far I've planned for a Tau and a member who's basically an overgrown pup, but they're still being worked on. We'll have to be sure to have our lot interact with each other when they're all done.

Agreed! I've definitely seen more Brits on Gaia these days than ever before. We're starting to take over!

Oh definitely. I'm still scouring Barton for other potential players. I don't know whether to stick with normal PMs or use the guild invite option. I think PMs are more personal, though.
I've also got Ajax's first post up! He's on the lower plains in the south. smile

I wouldn't know really, I tend to pay more attention to PMs though, as you said, they seem more personal.
I can't think of a name for my Tau girl. Dx Once I do I'll probably throw her his way.

Ooooh, I love thinking up names. And by thinking up names I mean googling Latin or Greek etc name meanings and such! I'm sure you'll come up with something soon! smile
Is it weird that I really want to learn to play the violin? I took lessons for a few weeks in school but lost interest really quickly. All of a sudden I have this urge to learn!

Sounds like a plan.
Usually I'm good at it, but I just couldn't think of anything. In the end I named her Ceniza which is Spanish for 'ash'. She's very gray, so it made sense. ...Sort of.
Her name isn't spelt how it's said though. It's pronounced Sen-e-sa, but I like the way it sounds and looks so it's okay. biggrin

Also how do you feel about roleplays on a guild? Seems a lot of people don't like them?

I've not decided his name yet. I'm thinking maybe Afon which means river in Welsh.
I like it, it makes things easier for organising and opens up more places for people to rp in.
Gah, I can't find out how to add the borders needed on photobucket. I used to be able to, but since they've changed it I can't get anything other than either black or white at set thicknesses.

Yeah, that's pretty much my thoughts. Get bored/frustrated with two or three threads! Oh well. I'm sure people will warm up to the idea once there's posting and such going on.
I actually use photoshop for work but can't do anything else on it other than what's needed for my job! /fail
For profile images used here I use picmonkey. The borders etc aren't so important, so don't fret too much. Size is more important and it'd be nice to have uniformity with that?

Well his picture is him in the water and since he's such a pup I imagine he'll like jumping in and splashing about from time to time.
It's gets confusing when there's a big area that stuff can happen in yet it's only one thread. Yeah, I would think so. Have you tried PMing people that are already in wolf rps, they might be more willing to give it a shot?
They made a new editing system, but I find it to be a real pain. I only use it for resizing rp pictures. Luckily I've managed to find one that's pretty similar. I think the uniformity is a good idea, otherwise you get pictures that are huge or with so many random things on them it becomes hard to focus on the picture itself.

Yes, exactly! I have been, and werewolf roleplays and the like. Recruiting is simple enough but people just seem to be put off by the guild aspect. Should be fine - it's only been one day!
Ahh it's irritating when photoshop release upgrades that mess around with the basics. Glad you've sorted it though! Definitely want uniformity with the profiles - tried to simplify it as much as possible!

True, these things take time after all, plus you might have more luck later when the timezones behind us get online.
Well it is simple, which is good, better than the threads that require you to fill something out which on Word is like five pages. It can sometimes be just too daunting.
