Welcome to Gaia! ::

I certainly look at this whole experience differently, really I feel like its just a fun way to get to talk to people you know and meet people you don't which I guess is what it always was...still I just can't help but feel like I'm looking at with more, wisdom I guess. Weird huh?

For me its incredible stepping back into this strange little world. I just earned my first million and am loving the new Dark Reflection items, but i have to say, my sense of style has changed almost completely from when I was last here...

For those who haven't read the announcement poster, LEGION (and no I'm not changing the title on account of that crappy action movie of same name) will be returning in the Spring or Winter of 2013, so hopefully we can keep that going. ^^

I don't know why I ever tired of Gaia, as I'm poking around, reading their comics and events, checking their games and collecting the gold like nothing's changed.
The items have gotten better ihmo, but otherwise it still feels like the same little app i got addicted not so long ago...

Y'know in some ways i blame facebook, it seemed much more simple to hop on there and "be social" but you get so much more specialization on Gaia, and I have great memories here. I know my old computer was one reason I never got on, it slowed me down so bad I couldn't finish a forum post let alone change my avi. ^^

But I'm back, and so is the guild! Here's to NOT disappearing for a while eh?

That Nostalgic feeling you can only say in French...

My mind is literally blown by returning here though, everywhere I look, pieces of me scattered throughout the code! Half remembered conversations sitting there on forums in black and white, a PM box full of archaic terms and nostalgic comments, people and things I haven't thought of in months sitting there waiting, jokes, riddles, poems that feel like relics from another lifetime waiting to be re-read and remembered fully. Now I know why people keep journals, and leave their marks on construction sites, life is an incredibly strong river that sweeps us away, and even when we think we're standing still, we're drifting faster and faster toward the future.

To be able to stop even for a minute (who am I kidding, I've been on here for hours this weekend) and look back at my younger self, Its incredible, and more then a little frightening.

Returning to Gaia is actually a bit emotional for me, there are so many dear friends I remember and met here, looking back through some of these guild pages has been heavier then a yearbook, but also reassuring, look how far we've come everybody! Just look at everything we've accomplished! We are not the same people we were. Instead we've blossomed into something more.

Even so I'm glad Gaia is still here, full of nostalgia and memories, and willing and waiting for us to mark it up all over again with new events, stories, and conversations. I'm taking my stand and sticking around, I like this place and I'm gonna stick with it.
