Time to see what else she could do, Dortoka thought as she focused on changing her image. She had recently discovered that she could change her size and shape to mimic other creatures. One of her best friends, Raina was a tortoise and so she thought it would be fun to try that out. The world would look so different from down their, she thought, and a lot slower.

She imagined what her friend looked like and her body began to shift into that of a tortoise. As she shrunk, her legs became rounder and bent. She could feel a shell forming on her back. All her fur turned into large scales. Her maw took a tortoise like shape. She did keep her colors though. That she did not want to change.

As she started walking, she found she was much slower then her regular form. She couldn't imagine how anyone could handle walking so slow for their whole life. She walked along the forest ground, occasionally looking up at the towering trees. This was a lot different than how she expected it would be.

She continued to walk at her slow pace, looking for some sort of small adventure. Being in her current state, she decided to leave the larger adventures for later, and settle for a exploration adventure, to see what all was in the forest. She was sure that if she traveled far enough she would be able to run across some sort of creature. All she had to do was look hard enough.

He had watched, he had watched her change and he smiled brightly. Without a moments thought the soft brown god, with multiple wings, shifted in to the form of a hare. Shrinking, his wings vanishing away and is ears becoming large and rounded. His small, fluffy body stretched, as he took his mortal form, and for a moment he limbered up. As a hare he looked unusual, taking traits from his god form, his ears flopped over, his fur stuck out at odd angles and a look of pure joy glimmered in his eyes.

The tortoise-goddess had already started to move away as he finally finished stretching out his lengthy limbs an without a moments hesitation he sped after her leaping and landing on her shell, he stood there perched upon her back. "Hey dudette, hows it goin'? I'v never seen a goddess be a tortoise before, hows that feel?" He grins a broad grin his flopped over ears flickering and twitching as he stayed perched upon her shelled back.

"Oh hey, yeah, I'm Ghandi, most everyone calls me, well Ghandi, I don't think theres a way to shorten my name really." He rambled, his sweet brown eyes looking thoughtful. "God of Pacifism, nice to meetcha."

Dortoka felt the wait on her shell and tried to look up. "Oh hello there! I am doing well. Despite the slowness of these legs! I can see why you have never seen a goddess be a tortoise. They are so slow! How they can spend their whole life like that is beyond me." She said with a laugh. "Ghandi eh? It is very nice to meet you. Dortoka is my name, reptiles are my game."

She tried to look at him, but had to strain her neck. At first she thought she saw a rabbit, but that couldn't be right. Than again, she was a tortoise. It wouldn't be that much of a stretch for another god to change into a different creature. "I haven't met any gods yet. Since I was er born I've been sticking to these lands." She wasn't sure how she became a goddess actually. It just sort of happened. But she was grateful it did. Now she could go on adventure again and again and meet so many different creatures, even some gods!

"What about you? Why are you a hare? I haven't tried that, though I am more fond of my scaley friends to be honest. But I do want to meet more creatures!" She said excitedly as she continue to walk. "Any idea where some fun critters are?"

It was nice to have someone with her, that could possibly help her. Plus she would have some company and that was always a bonus. Traveling alone was something she did not like doing.

The soft brown hare jumped from ehr shell and stood before her, his long lanky legs and nimble body stretching and twitching. There was something about this form that made him, twitchy. His ears flickered constantly his large wide eyes always searching about. "I like this form." His nose twitches his short fluffy tail flashing as he stood on his back legs. "Reptiles, thats gotta be an interesting domain dudette." He grins a wild sort of smile settling back on four paws.

"Really? I know a lot of gods, my mother and father and I have siblings and aunts and uncles." He pauses for a moment and tilts his head sniffing over the tortoise. "My father favours the form of a klipspringer, when he wants to be in disguise. I think a hare suits me." He looks thoughtful and lets a little laugh roll over his lips "My father says we pick our forms, so we should pick them wisely." He nods a very sage, or at least partly wisdom filled nod.

"You can't do much exploring like that dudette, I'll plod around with you for a while, watch out for predators though. He's a bit agressive." He chuckles and hops around the tortoise-shaped goddess hopping on to her shell again he sits his ears twitching about. "If you see an angry Klipspringer called Faline, walk the other way she's probably mad at me for ditching her." He grins.

"Thanks!" She said as he hopped off her shell. Her yellow eyes watched him with enjoyment. It was nice to see him in full! "You make an adorable rabbit! And very believable. If you hadn't told me you were a god, I would have believed you were an average hare! I need to work on being a normal tortoise I believe. Complaining about my speed isn't probably a normal thing for a tortoise."

Dortoka thought about her domain. Yeah, it was pretty cool, she thought. "I still have to learn so much about my powers. Being new is a bit tough. I think if I meet some more gods and goddesses I should be able to learn from them. Like flying maybe. I think that is something I would like to learn to be better at. So far though I am much more suitable for the ground."

She watched him with interest. There were so many different questions she wanted to ask him. He had a whole family of gods! If she had a family, she had forgotten all about them. Her friend Raina had known her from when she was a mortal, but she had no recollection of that life. For all she knew she did have family somewhere out there. Though they wouldn't recognize her anymore even if they did cross paths.

"I can't believe you have a full family of gods! That must be fun when you all get together. I don't have a family yet, though maybe someday it would be nice to try." She said with a grin. That would be something new, being a mother. At least she had no memory of being a mother. "If you don't mind me asking what is your family like?"

She did her best to travel quicker, but it was hardly that much. "I might not be able to explore quickly, but I could travel for days like this." She said, thinking of her friend Raina who never seemed tired. Raina always seemed to be on the move, even if it wasn't that quickly. "Avoid Faline! Gotcha! Why did you ditch her? And thank you for keeping an eye out. I am not quite sure how strong this shell is yet. It hold you fine, but I am not sure what it would do against sharp teeth and I don't plan on finding out any time soon."

The extra fluffy hare nodded and grind broadly. "Thanks, I like being a hare, my pops says it suits my personality." He chuckles and twitches his ears.

"We hardly ever all get together, we haven't all been together since I was a cub. At least my direct family any way. My father is the god of prey so he instilled some interesting family values in me." He smiles lightly "I don't believe in killing, so its as well I don't really have to eat to sustain myself. "My mother is the goddess of Crafting, she's very arty." He smiles, his mother was an odd one even to him, she loved them but there was always this gap, which made him wonder what she really thought. He didn't voice all of this though. "I have four siblings too and we meet up occasionally. We all, have different domains so it can be fun and unusual when we meet up." He chuckles lightly and looks deeply thoughtful.

"Probably the most interesting member of my family is my grandfather, he presides over famine, everyone thinks he's scary but it aint true." He smiles a subtle little smile.

He laughs a quiet little laugh "She's kinda like my nanny." he shakes his head and grins "I tell her I am old enough to look after myself occasionally but she doesn't listen so, I decided to ditch her." He shrugs his shoulders "She'll show up eventually and chew my ears off. She's my best friend but she really is a nag sometimes."

Now that she thought about it, she hadn't been hungry since she was 'born' and the only time she had hunted was when her friends needed food. She let out a warm laugh. "Your dad sounds like fun! I think I would like to meet him some point. And your mother sounds amazing too. I would love to have a family like yours!"

She thought about famine and the first word that came to her mind was lonely. She hoped that he wasn't lonely because that would be depressing. Perhaps she would try and run across him, just to make sure he wasn't lonely.

"Oh a nanny, my Raina is a bit like my nanny. She is actually the one who named me!" Dortoka said with a smile, thinking of her tortoise friend. "I think if I ever ditched her I would never hear the end of it. She would scold me again and again. She can be such a nag sometimes."

Though she was grateful for Raina. If it wasn't for her, she was sure that she would have been in some trouble early on. She was still new to be a goddess, and without the help of Raina she was sure that others could have used her for her powers.

The tan hare smiles brightly. "You can be a part of my family if you like. My dad wouldn't mind, he always says, the more the merrier." He tilts his head, a glimmer in his soft brown eyes. "My father has a herd that he looks after, they are like, his extended family, well, they are our extended family, hence why I have a klipspringer for a nanny." He chuckles and shakes his head and he jumps over the tortoises head and stands before her.

"Would you like to come with me? I can teach you to fly, even though you don't have wings." He looks thoughtful, he was fairly sure he could teach her to fly, he had two sets of wings and it had been a challenge to learn. His grandfather could fly after all and all he had was torn and rendered wings.

"Faline will show up sooner or later so she will have to come too I guess." He chuckles and flickers his floppy ears happily. "She's not all bad but she will have an epic gob on." He chuckles and shakes his head. "She's my best friend really but she's such a naaagggg sometimes." He blinks his wide chocolate eyes and waits quietly.

"So, waddya say? wanna come on an adventure with me dudette?"

A huge grin fell on her face. "I can! I would love to be apart of your family. I think it would be so much fun to be part of a huge family. I can't wait to meet the rest of them." She would also try and introduce her friends to her new family. They would all get along, she was sure of it. She would have to seek the rest of the family out.

"You are so kind to me. If you have the time I would love to learn how to fly." She said with excitement. "When do we go? We can find Faline and start our adventure. Or we could fly to her, well after I learn how to fly." She gave a laugh.

This was a much greater adventure then she thought. Dortoka had no idea that something so amazing would happen. The thought that she got to meet another god was something astounding, but meeting one who wants her in his family and wants to go on adventures was something else. "Where would we go on an adventure to? There is so much I haven't seen. I have seen snow though and I am not fond of that." She had seen a snow top mountain during her travels and knew she did not like it just with a glance.

Ghandi looked thoughtful, for a brief moment he was quiet while he thought of exactly what they should do first, after all, there had to be some sort of order. Or that was what Faline always said, usually he just winged it and it usually came out okay. "Well, we have to fly to my pops place, so how about we do that first?" He grins "Learn to fly I mean, uh, I think I need to not be a bunny though." He laughs and twitches his bunny tail.

"Or maybe we should find Faline." That deeply thoughtful look crossed his maw. "Yeah, lets find Faline then we'll do the flying thing." He puffs out his chest proudly. "Hey can you do a more speedy critter or like, do you wanna be a lion again?" He tilts his head, could she be classed as a lion? He had to think about that one very seriously, after all the glimpse he had gotten of her had been lion shaped but sort of not lioney at all.

He would ponder that one some more later for now, he let his mind wander back to the task at hand. "we'll probably find her faster if we are bigger." He nods a partially sagely nod, he didn't really pull sagely off very well, but he always attempted it. Rolling his shoulders the little hare stretches his limbs and in an instant a rather fluffy god stood before the tortoise. His ears remained floppy even in his god form and though he was larger now that calm, peaceful expression remained in his eyes. "Your turn dudette."

Dortoka nodded her head as she spoke. There were so many options, it was starting to make her head spin. Meeting Faline did seem to be a good starting spot. “I'm very excited to meet her.” she said with glee. A nanny to a god, she had to be interesting. “I guess it would make sense for me to change.” She would have to spend more time as a tortoise someday. It was pretty fun and gave a different perspective. It gave her more respect to her shelled friends.

She watched as Ghandi changed. The moment she saw him, she wanted to touch his fluffy fur. Her fur lacked any real fluffiness to it and when in her form was more like scales. It didn't bother her any, she just thought that it would be nice having fluffier fur once in a while. Someday she would have to try and transform into a critter that had longer fur, she decided. Now it was her turn. She thought of her goddess form, and her body grew and changed formed into her massive goddess form. After a quick look at her tail and legs, she decided she was happy with her appearance.

“Looking good,” Dortoka said with a nod to Ghandi. She stretched her front legs. Her eyes looked up and saw some birds. Soon it would be her turn to fly and then she could really go where ever she wanted to with ease.
