Keahi was not thrilled when he found out he would be dueling Kalama today. specially when last they dueled he felt he had been pathetic and he figured she would ridicule him for having not won his duel yet. grumbling to himself, he really now wasn't looking forward to this duel, but he was determined to win and was rather unhappy he had yet to win and be considered a firekin. wrinkling his muzzle he waited for her to ether start or say something.

Keahi gave a low growl and it was clear he was not amused with her remarks towards him. it was also very clear that Kalama had the very unique ability to get right under his skin when he was normally very calm. "whatever you wish." that was all he said as he suddenly went lunging for her and raised a paw high up so that he could smack it down upon her. if she wanted to rile him up and get close to him, well she was getting exactly what she wanted. if he could help it, he was not going to lose this duel or he was never going to be able to face Kalama ever as he would be shamed.

Keahi had a wicked smirk on his face as he caught her off guard and she missed him. it was clear he was never going to back down very easy and he would try over and over and over as many times as he would be allowed to try to become a firekin. his smirk stayed as he went to bide his time and decided to circle around her while he decided his next move. he didn't want to over think or be overly aggressive but it seemed she brought out his hot headed side which annoyed him to no end. it didn't help he couldn't figure out how she pushed his buttons so easy.

Kalama moved away from him rethinking of what she was going to do next. Dueling wasn't really her favorite thing to do recently. She knew that there were so many battles that were close t happening soon that she wasn't sure how she felt about spending her times dueling. She partly wanted to just not fight anyone anymore because she knew that there were going to more battles soon. and there was so much tension, and either way spending her time dueling was annoying she felt like she could do soemthing else.

She flicked her tail around and stared before beginning to pace around him trying to figure out what to do next, his smirk irking him.

The lioness backed away from the male after his hit. A small snarl escaped her lips as he spoke to her. She couldn't help it, she was a little frustrated at what he was saying. "A challenge." She snapped back grumpy that he was even suggesting the idea. "I gave you a challenge last time and your sad a** lost." She huffed at him, she was almost amused, it probably was a hard hit to his ego. And then she decided to add a little more to that one. "Even better, MANY lions gave you a challenge, man you have a lot to work on don't you." She said with a laugh, the lioness beginning to circle once again.

Laughter erupted out of the lioness's maw when she almost danced out of the way of the male's strike. This was becoming almost amusing. She waited a few moments to see what he was going to do next. She could tell that he was extremely angry and that just amused her even more.

Kalama decided to just take the hit and get ready to go. She was pretty bored with fighting and not only that but she was bored with his face. She took the last hit and then nodded to him. "Good jon." She stated before turning around and then started to head away. She didn't like losing but at the same time she was ready to go somewhere else and do something else.
