The lion wasn't particularly used to being active during the nighttime hours, but Safi'bora was feeling restless. He couldn't quite say what it was, but something about this evening felt... enticing. The evening was cool and comfortable, only the faintest hint of a breeze brushing through the swamplands. The moonlight seemed to make things glow. It was a soft, ethereal look that gave the lion a feeling of depth. There was importance, here. Meaning. A serene sort of beauty.
Bright, lavender eyes brushed through the landscape. He wasn't used to wandering at this hour, and to be honest, he wasn't very good at it. Normally, Safi seemed rather composed as he walked. His posture would be held firm, his head high. Now... well, he tried his best.
The sight of a silhouette that seemed vaguely lion-like caught his attention. Safi drew his eyes upwards and squinted. It was... a lioness? He blinked, surprised and rather captivated. She seemed relaxed enough in this moonlit atmosphere. The scene, there was something poetic about it.
What wasn't so poetic, though, was the stumbling that came afterwards. Distracted, Safi found himself falling over a root into the muddy dirt below, a not-so-eloquent grunt escaping his maw as he fell.
