Jude had been resting in the tent blissfully for a bit and then when it came time to do something he would get up and do it without any real complaint but it was autonomous for the most part with a blank and quiet look to his face. This whole experience was unnerving to him though he said nothing about it - was he in the wrong? Why did Deryk and Gale trust that pair so much? Why were they here if no one posed a threat? Oh sure the Insanity was a major issue he saw as much himself. That figure with the backwards hands - a glimmer of recognition sparked somewhere in his brain. Recognition tainted with annoyance and hatred that b***h tried to choke him.

Yom seemed restless and unnerved as well but still said nothing.

Chaos.

Nothing.

Now he awoke in a strange place his head feeling more than a bit heavy from everything that had happened. He remembered being dragged against his will his fingertips bore tattletale signs of dirt and splinters from where his fingertips dug into the ground to try and resist the pull, he made an apathetic note of the blood before he got to his feet and wandered forward. Crunching made him look down and he just noted the crushed glass.

Looking back he saw he wasn't alone. Two other forms nearby and he recognized both of them he wandered toward them and knelt, "Ari, you alive? Deryk? Both of you please wake up..." He shook each of their shoulders in turn hoping it would stir them; he found that as he talked his voice sounded different when spoke aloud. He didn't want to be alone here.

...This was weird.

Deryk felt groggy. His sense felt numb and he wasn't sure if he was even really awake until he heard Jude's voice nearby beckoning him. With a groan, he sat up after he was shaken a bit. He soon realized that Ariane was here as well. The death trainee rubbed his head and looked around. There was nothing but a thick fog surrounding them. He couldn't even see more than a few feet from where he was.

"W..where are we? We... still at the haunted house..?" he asked warily. His voice sounded and felt weird as he spoke.

This place was really. Really creepy. Possibly moreso than any other area of Halloween he had been in. Then again.. they weren't quite in Halloween were they? Seeing how they didn't need Golems and the like.

A chill ran down his spine. He didn't like this place.

Ariane remembered a lot of shouting... And then being pulled into a portal; everything else was hazy, and she had no idea how long she had been just sitting there in a daze. She didn't even hear Jude's voice calling her name, and responded only when she felt someone shaking her, forcing her out of the daze she was in.

"... Huh?" She frowned, blinking as she looked up at Jude, and then to Deryk, who was saying something. It took her some time to actually get up, taking a tentative step forward - only to feel something being crushed under her feet. She looked down - it was an action prompted by reflex- and her frown deepened; it looked like she had stepped on something made from glass... And judging from the liquid around it, it must had been a container for something.

"Probably still the haunted house," She muttered, "Although it looks different." Way to state the obvious.

There was a sigh of relief from Jude when both of them stirred and were becoming more aware of their surroundings. He glanced around squinting a bit hearing the crunch that Ariane made as she moved forward - ah, she discovered the remains of the glass whatever-it-was, good for her.

He got back to his feet and stretched his arms over his head a bit to try and work out some of the stiffness and kinks in his muscles thanks to the stress of forced transport, "Mmm, yeah," he agreed with the other two about their location.

"We should...start looking around maybe? Look for others and all that..." He said softly with a small frown, he had no actual hope of finding anyone.

Yeah the Haunted House looked way different. While it was never quite the same each time he had entered, it was never anything drastic like this. It always had a similar ambient feel but this was not the same at all. That was probably a part of the reason why he was getting some really weird vibes from it right now.

Getting up to his feet slowly, Deryk looked from Ariane to Jude and nodded slowly.

"Yeah... let's look around. Others have to be near.. right? yes? Hope so.. Couldn't be too far. Try and find more information about situation while we're at it too. Yes," he murmured. With that in mind, he took out his phone. It seemed to be functioning still, however he had no reception. They had no way of contacting the others right now.

"Sure, why not?" Ariane answered, absentmindedly sweeping the shards of glass away with the side of her boots, "Walking around can't hurt. Just stay close so we don't get... Separated or something like that."

It was difficult to see with all the fog around, and there was something off about the place, more so than usual - not favorable conditions to walk around while alone. After some thought, she decided that the best way to keep together would be to pull the two hunters along by their scarves, because holding hands never came to mind, and linking arms felt oh so wrong.

After some walking - it felt like forever, since they were just walking around randomly, but was probably closer to 10 to 15 minutes - she realized that she could see a faint light ahead... Although she wasn't sure if she should be walking towards it or away from it. SO she stopped, and just stared expectantly at both Jude and Deryk. While still holding them by the scarf. Like she was walking two oversized dogs.

Jude nodded in agreement and once everyone was in on the plan he started to walk with the persistent tugging of an Ariane as she held onto his scarf. It probably spoke volumes of how much he trusted her when he didn't suddenly spazz because she was holding on to the tail end of his cowl like he thought she was going to strangle him.

Every now and again - within distance of the scarf holding Ariane he would search the ground and other parts of the area to see if anything caught his attention. When they came to a stop he kind of stumbled a bit and then looked up to see the glow of a light...?

He looked around and saw another source as well and then looked between the other two, "Well..?"

Deryk, in part, wondered if this was what a dog felt like. Only he was being tugged by the waist. He tried to keep an eye out as they looked around, but really, they weren't coming up with anything. Well, until they found those lights. He wasn't sure if they were a good or bad sign... but.. they were some sort of sign.

"Uhm.." he started while looking back and forth between the light sources, "M-maybe the warmer one? It was cold in here before. Might be.. safer? yes? maybe? Hopefully?"

It seemed pretty sound to him.

"Wasn't there some sort of a saying though?" Ariane raised an eyebrow at the two hunters with her, looking thoughtful when Deryk suggested walking towards the warmer light, "About how not to go towards the light?" Because it could totally be some sort of an incoming train. Anything is possible in the Haunted House, especially with their luck...

Or lack of luck.

"...We seriously going to argue about which light to go into or not going into any at all?" Jude asked with a raised eyebrow. He reached to lightly tug at his end of the cowl staring from Ariane to Deryk.

"There might be people in the lighted areas, Ariane, maybe other Hunters?" He pointed out thoughtfully.

Just as Unstbul was sure that things couldn't possibly get worse, a little friend from the prior HH meta decided to remix his a** and drag him not into a big ocean tub of water, but a harsh environment of decay and despair. Only the environment is a lie. It is a false world of color, Bul knew all too well that this sinking feeling didn't just chase away his suspicions, his doubt, and his worry. Everything seemed wrong in every sense of the word, twisting in on itself and creating a twin- an inverted world that shimmered with the cold sweat of guilt. As I sneak my lyrical solo into this post Bul stands erect and unfortunately-

Alone.

He swallows the lump in his throat and clenches his fists shakily. Okay.. you've got this, he coaches himself while in the back of his mind he panics. Before him he has nowhere to go but straight on through the house, in the desperate hopes that he may find a face he knew and more importantly, Mei. A piece of something painful and sharp buried its way temporarily between his toes. As calloused as they were, he still winced and kicked his leg around until the piece was dislodged. Bul looked down at the debris to see the little trinket had already been smashed up for he could see traces of it scattered even further out. For a brief moment the monster is pained by the sudden thought of a certain shattered doll, his ghoulfriend, whom which he had no evidence that she had made it to this place herself. His only assumption could be that yes she was here but in what state. Had she become one with the house?

And then the realization hit...

WHAT IF HE WAS STANDING ON MEI.

Bul called out with a frail moan. "MeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEiiiiiii-" "Mei I'm sorry I didn't mean to step on you I-" Not even an echo off the once-acoustic walls of the house. Now the boil grew nervous. Already he'd established that this place was not normal but now it felt impossible. Literally! And that was saying something for the house. Once more he called out Mei's name but this time he followed it with the names of Gale, Demi, Riley even. No response. Nothing. He had no other real option but to look around for people, wandering aimlessly until with just enough visibility between the columns of fog he could read moving figures ahead of him. For once he was begging the universe to give him some hunters- hunters he knew for a fact now were incapable of becoming creatures of the fog. Hopefully if anyone... it wasn't Rep.

"He-Hello?" Bul cried. "I'm a monster okay? I'm Bul I'm the guy from the tent- Are you friend or foe? Or are you looking for 'home'? Please oh Jack PLEASE don't be looking for 'home'-" he started to speak and slowly approach the foggy figures. If they WERE insanity infested then it looked like he'd meet his end.

The first thing Robert heard when he woke up was "I'm a monster."

So Robert came out swinging.

"WHO'S OUT THERE?" He reached for Jezebel, ready to summon at a moment's notice. "Hey. HEY ASSHOLES. SHOW YOURSELVES."

Robert - master of stealth.

Maybe shouting "Im a Monster" first thing wasn't the best choice of vocabulary.

In Halloween it was like saying "Hey I'm a really tall person that probably smells a little funky"

In Human/Hunterland it was like saying "Hey I'm going to tear out your intestines from behind you, wrap them around your neck until you suffocate and oh I definitely smell a little funky."

Or something like that. Bul was cautious when he heard this frantic man start to sound the alarm. From the sound of his voice though, he was able to determine that they were not infact looking for "home" which was all that mattered right now. Well... and Jack Forbid it was a horseman.

"Hey hey relax its okay I'm uh- I'm just trying to-" Bul felt something brush against his tail and immediately retreated it. When he whipped around there stood Robert the hutt hunter. "Ah jeez.. hey look I'm not a hostile-" his hands were up. Maybe this guy saw him in the tent, maybe not. But to go through this whole spiel again was not something he was looking forwards to. He was also not looking forwards to the decision he would have to make regarding
moving towards a warm light.

Deryk frowned at Ariane for the moment. It wasn't like they were dying here. At least Jude cut in to help him out a bit.

"Worth checking out either way. After all that wandering, it's the only thing we've really found. Just uh... stay alert? Might be best."

It was then that he heard a sort of wail. Was it his imagination? The death hunter froze a bit and turned around warily, not sure what to do. But then there was the voice once more. Oh it was Bul. Ok. He wasn't hostile. It was all good.

"Bul, it's Deryk," he called back, "Jude's here too, and one other, yes."

Ariane wasn't quite there before so he didn't mention her name at the moment.

"Are you alo-- AIIEEEE!"

The sudden shout from somewhere behind him startled Deryk and he ended up brandishing Tooley, ready for someone to pounce him. It was a good thing Tooley wasn't a gun or she would have been fired off at that moment.

Bul had prepared himself in case the spooked hunter swung their weapon, okay that's a lie he might be wide open for a sliced face or something but he about near collapsed in relief when Deryk had returned his calling.

When and if the blonde hunter revealed himself, Jude included, Bul would quickly scramble to their sides, crawling on the ground very animal-like as a sort of defense. "Hnnngh... I don't know what happened I think we are essentially the very definition of ******** right now. What have you guys concluded?" he asked. It had hardly been a long time since they 'arrived' there. Surely their troop had about as much knowledge of what was happening as Bul did.

The boil's red eyes darted around suspiciously. He'd been forced back out into the oven where he wasn't sure what would happen. Would the fog spring up more creatures? It was still foggy- just not as demented and grey. Or maybe just so demented that it sucked the grey away and spat back out something hideous and full of fake colors.
