Hello and welcome to Dear Nymph.. A continuation of Dear Admiral.
From reading and knowing what Dear Admial was, you can come to the conclusion that this is an Advice Column, much like the 'Dear Abby' column of perhaps your local newspapers. I'll take letters from you, the reader seeking advice - and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities; offering what advice I can, or to just be someone who you can talk to with total anonymity.
Some of you might be wondering "Who are you to go around giving advice?". It's a totally valid and respected question, and I can provide an answer for that.. I'm 21 years old, and have been through a lot. I know that can be a generic answer, but the things I've dealt with have been pretty rough and have really tested me over the years. Growing up, I was constantly bullied about playing sports (yes, really.). When I was little, in my area, it was uncool to be active and to have muscle, or to hang around with boys. Boys were supposed to like you for your looks, not because you can kick a homer in Soccer-baseball.. I was picked on in Junior high and high school because I had acne and I was curvy.
I went and studied for a year and a semester as a University, and flunked out, so unlike Admiral, I don't have a course of study, but I have the experiences of going and lessons I learned. From being in Emotional and Physically abusive relationships, to having friends try and commit suicide, family problems (I have a HUGE family, by the way.) and just general questions, I would love to help you where I can.
I have a wide range of topics I can lend my advice for.
So now that we've gone and discussed some of my demons, I should probably let you know how you can submit a letter to me. Please don't send them directly to me, but send a message to Jimmy entitled "Dear Nymph". If you choose to remain anonymous in your letter, please include that in the PM subject line! (ex. Dear Nymph: Anonymous). I will answer letters in the order in which they arrive in Jimmy's inbox, and as quickly as I can. I do reserve the right to not answer harassing &/or inappropriate letters that violate the TOS to an extreme degree - however, I trust there will be little of these sort. All answered letters will be posted here on the column thread. Also, the three best submissions per month will be posted in each issue of our fine publication.
Please refrain from discussing any letters here in this thread. I've set up a Letter Discussion thread where you can post about letters I've answered, as well as maybe offer your own advice.
Happy Posting!

Nymph of Spring.
