Let's get ready to ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumble!

Okay, so maybe it wasn't WCW but there were still fans cheering inside of Nickeline's head. She just needed someone to fight, someone to pummel and Nickeline knew just who she would like to fill those shoes. There was a teal haired, teal eyed b***h she'd like to give a matching back eye to before she broke him. She was still so pissed off that he had escaped her that she was explicitly looking for him, checking all the places she thought a piece of s**t like him would hide. She checked the garbage cans first, and then she checked other places that maybe he could be.

It lead her to a street when she sensed a familiar power signal. She ran to it carefully, hiding behind nearby buildings as she searched for that person... she'd find them and before they even knew what happened she was going to punch them in the face! She waited for them to turn around the corner, lurking in the darkness like a jungle cat.

Whereas the night had felt safe up until this point, Aventine once again felt a slightly familiar, yet ultimately different aura prickling at the base of her neck. She recognized it as Chaos when it sent a shiver down her spine and made her want to stomp on the ground to disperse 'all those yucky feels' Chaos always left her with.

She lingered where she stood for a short moment, debating on if this was a signature she wanted to investigate or if she should just turn the other direction. Aventine let out the faintest sigh, as if the second choice was even and option.

She had met enough people to be convinced that there was place for her in this war (okay, maybe not totally convinced just yet), and she wasn't going to run from it. She might not know half as much as anyone else, but damn it—she was trying! And that meant that it was totally acceptable to wander near dark alleyways!

Standing up straight, Aventine fixed up her hair, produced her perfume, and gave herself a spritz for luck before she turned the corner.

The smell was the first trigger for Nickeline. It wasn't a trigger that immediately said that this person was by no means Nysa, in fact, the smell sort of made her think it might actually be that girly piece of s**t Nysa. He'd definitely be the type to wear perfume. How else would he cover the smell that he so naturally produced as a piece of s**t? Nickeline put her beats on bathing in perfume, but even then he still stunk like the piece of s**t he was.

Okay, so maybe Nickeline was just really pissed off over the fact Nysa had gotten away before. It probably wasn't going to get any better when she realized that this person wasn't Nysa. It didn't take long before Nickeline caught sight of the page. It wasn't Nysa, and instead it was a girl with brown hair and green eyes. She had bright pink on with hints of golden? It made Nickeline want to throw up. It might have been cute as a unicorn but this was just disgusting!

First to find out it wasn't Nysa, and then to find out it was this atrocious thing? It had been decided long before any of that, but this certainly was enough to make Nickeline settle on it: she was going to pretend this was Nysa and break her face. She'd probably make the same noises Nysa made, maybe flip out a little less than Nysa about having her face smashed in though. A little disappointing, but Nickeline was willing to make due.

"Wazzup homeslice!" She announced after she jumped around the corner and threw her fist toward the page's face.

I am sorry your poor page has to meet Nickeline, who simply hates pages, squires and knights.

Fists to the face? Typically no big deal. You expected an elbow or a knee with every game of rugby you went into.

…The difference was, though, Aventine wasn't expecting an attack. One minute there was nothing, the next there was a fist. So she did the most sensible thing—let out a little scream as she ducked her head, trying to avoid it. In terms of avoiding the attack entirely, it was a failed offer. In terms of protecting the important parts? Success.

Very, very painful success.

The girl's fist collided, quite strongly, with Aventine's forehead, sending a ripple of pain straight through her.

"Ow! Ow, ow ow—what the ******** was that for!?" she seethed, trying to make a quick assessment of how much damage had been done even as she tried to prepare for another blow. She was already cringing and hastily clutched at forehead as if that would ebb the pain. Aventine was particularly careful to keep one eye on the girl responsible for such pain as she took a few quick steps back; she didn't want this girl sneaking in another cheap shot.

Forehead? ********! Nickeline let out a foreign sound of displeasure and pain, her fist coiling backwards at the same time as she waved her hand back and forth for a moment before pulling it back into a fist angrily. She had hit hard, and although it hurt the page probably quite a bit more she had still basically punched a good slab of bone. It was simply Aventine's fault, and Nickeline knew it. If that b***h hadn't ducked and just took the punch in the face like a good b***h. How dare you Aventine, how dare you. Nickeline was convinced it was her fault, and she practically growled.

"Ow! Ow, ow ow—what the ******** was that for!?" She mimicked her bitterly, a strong accent making it slightly difficult to decipher immediately. It was very clear she had said ******** though, quite obvious that Nickeline said it quite a lot. Oh, curse words, how easy you are to pick up. Nickeline could have been such a nice speaking girl but then she had to go and get a potty mouth. If she had to blame someone for that, she'd just blame all Americans. Clearly it was their fault for swearing so much she picked it up.

Nickeline clearly wasn't taking this girl seriously though, proven by the small dance she did with her hands over her head like a goof. It was quite strange, and she probably looked foolish but quickly her dance moved to an assault. She wasn't risking this b***h hurting her hand again so this time when she danced forward she moved low and then swung her foot across the pavement by Aventine's feet. Fall b***h, fall.

Nickeline appreciates the sentiment. You obviously know appropriate behaviour.

Pain and mockery did not bode well for Aventine, who quickly took offense at the unprecedented attack and then the following mimicry. While she wasn't exactly expecting another attack so soon, now that Nickeline had her attention, she wasn't going to get in another sneak attack.

When Nickeline ducked low, Aventine didn't have the faintest idea of what she was doing until she saw her leg moving. She probably had a few options, but Aventine didn't really have time to process them.

She was a doer, not necessarily a thinker. She'd act now and deal with the consequences later.

The most logical thing to do was not, therefore, to head butt the corrupted senshi in front of her, but that certainly didn't stop her from doing so. With Nickeline's leg arcing towards Aventine's legs, she knew she was going to go down one way or the other, and if she could help it, it would at least be by her terms. She lurched, aiming herself towards the corrupted senshi, intent on using her skull like it was a battering ram.

Rugby had left her used to some rough play, and Aventine's hotheaded nature told her that she just wanted this girl to hurt. Besides; with her head as hard as it was?

What could possibly go wrong?

What couldn't go wrong?

Let's be frank, b***h be tripping and Nickeline was right in her line of fire. There wasn't any time for any major thoughts, no clever cheap shots. Adrenaline pumped though Nickeline's veins and she did the one thing she could think of to prevent a head smashing into hers: she threw her hands up to catch her. There was just one problem with this plan: Nickeline's angle did not fall under her head but instead her chest. She was lined right up to grope this page!

This result had been the absolute furthest from Aventine's mind. She stared down at Nickeline, face slowly heating him as it processed that she was standing here, now very much on her knees, with another girl in full grip of her. Her eyes shot down and then back up to Nickeline's eyes, and for a long second she was just frozen.

On the bright side, this probably couldn’t get any more awkward.

She figured she reacted appropriately; she didn't aim to get in a particularly fierce blow—she just wanted to get away. That in mind, she used what force she could craft, planted her hands on Nickeline's shoulders and gave a firm push, hoping to get Nickeline back and on the ground at the same time as she pushed herself up and put some more distance between them.

"—You can't seriously you're going to cop a feel and then not even tell me your name," she said, seeming a bit flustered as she tried to scramble away.

Nickeline was probably more horrified than Aventine was, simply staring at her with doe eyes. She wished she could move her arms but it was as if time had frozen for her, and all she could do was stare at Aventine as she planted her hands on Nickeline's shoulders and pushed her over as she distanced herself from the corrupt senshi.

There was no way Nickeline was translating what Aventine just said, in fact, her arms were still up in the air even though Aventine was gone.

"Uhh... uhhh... uhh," she said as she clearly tried to say something. Why did Aventine throw chest onto Nickeline? The corrupt senshi felt so violated, but at the same time she was so flustered. She wanted to smash Aventine's face in and then at the same time she wanted to run as far away as she possibly could get.

It took awhile but she finally got back to her feet, balls a dangling back and forth as Nickeline's body slowly began to wobble away from the page. She'd never live this down, never ever ever. Maybe she could if it was a senshi, or a negaverse soldier but a page? She wanted to throw up. This was so embarrassing that she was prioritizing anger over shame and getting the ******** away.

The silence wasn't exactly doing much for Aventine, and even when Nickeline started sputtering a string of 'uhh's, Aventine wasn't in the slightest bit pleased. There was no resolution to the whole situation, and a part of her was glad that the weirdo was going her own way, but a part of her wanted resolution—closure.

Revenge. Or—hell, a name might have even placated her a bit.

She wanted to tackle the girl, beat her face in, or stand there and stop her food and throw a hissy fit.

Words eluded her, however, and she awkwardly crossed her arms over her chest and shifted her weight from leg to leg. Warily she kept her eyes on the girl in front of her, still trying to come to terms and comprehend with what the hell just happened. A part of her was afraid that if she opened her mouth, it would be back to brawling and thrashing and groping, but already she was uneasy that she was going to go home with a hell of a lot more questions than answers.

…Going home with questions was better than going home with bruises, though.
