Clan History: In life there is death. Everything comes to an end and with it there is a new start. This is the Xerden belief and they follow it to the "T". Many Xerden clan members later become Xerden Monks, whose job is to seal away the dead and keep peace between the nations. Aaron Xerden was the head monk just before Hajime and thanks to him almost every nation knows about the monks. For during the third great ninja war Aaron sent the Monks into their first war to fight. During one of the battles Aaron was killed by having his head removed then spilt in two before he could heal. After which Hajime took over as the Head Monk and leader of the Xerden clan. While much of the clan’s history was lost in time, Hajime was able to find a book written by Orochimaru while he was studying about Sakon and Ukon’s Kekkei Genkai. Inside the book read the following: The Xerden clan is one of the oldest clan’s to date. Hidden in the shadows it was their job, given to them by the Gods above, to seal away those who fell in battle. This was to make sure no one would try to bring them back with the Edo Tensei and break the balance of the Living and the Dead. However as the Clan soon found out this was difficult to do without power. Because of this Izanagi thrust his jeweled spear into the first son(still in the womb), born to the current clan leader at the time, allowing his holy powers to flow into the unborn child. The son, still in his mother’s womb was born almost three weeks later, two months early. Yet he was as healthy as a dragon, and soon the Clan Leader would find out why. The young boy was the first member of the Clan to be born with a Kekkei Genkai. This allowed him to control his cells and change them, thus becoming what he called a Shaper shifter. This became an advancement of the Kekkei Genkai as the years went on, due to the time and effort it toke to master the technique. As the years passed many of the Clan members felt like they needed more members to help seal away the bodies and if possible stop them from even being created. During this time the first member with Kekkei Genkai (we find out his name is Kiyoshi, meaning Pure), had already started creating the Xerden Monks. The Xerden Monks were a group of both Xerden Clan members, and some of Kiyoshi’s greatest friends. They would use the Dead Soul Technique to use as bodyguards and seal them away afterwards, as well as work for the gods. Hidden inside the Xerden main temple, is a secret room, two levels underground. There Kiyoshi keeps the ancient and powerful sword known as, Kusanagi hidden. He told his son to make sure the sword stayed hidden, and that no one but the Head Monks and Clan Leader know about it. Finally Kiyoshi died in his sleep, having reached the age of nearly 1,382 years old. His son Aaron later became the Head Monk and Clan leader. He followed in his fathers footsteps and even had more people join the cause. However during the third great ninja war, he and his wife Haswar of the Hyuga clan’s main branch had given birth to a son, Hajime (meaning Beginning). Knowing he couldn’t spend as much time as he would have liked with his son, Aaron had him and his mother leave to live in Konohagakure for the time being. At which point he also made the Xerden Monks head to war for the very first time. They did well up until the point of Aaron’s death. Then chaos started, until Hajime took his father’s place as Leader. Having already known about Kusanagi, he locked it away once the war was over. He later created a system of conscription, allowing certain monks the right to recruit any ninja either born or living in the Five Great Nations. The book stops there and has now become Hajime’s job to fill it with the clan’s growing history.

Normal Kekkei Genkai
Sakon and Ukon's unnamed kekkei genkai gives them the unique ability to break their bodies down to a molecular level. The two brothers usually use this ability to share the same body but can also use it to merge with the bodies of others and destroy the host's cells from the inside. When Sakon is in need of assistance, Ukon can bring out some of his body parts to aid Sakon in blocking or attacking. Ukon's arms and legs can emerge from those of Sakon's to increase the force and quantity to his physical attacks.
If needed, Ukon can separate from Sakon's body so that the two can attack independently. While this can be an effective way of double teaming an opponent, Ukon is not used to leaving Sakon's body and is much weaker when he does so. While within another's body, however, they are vulnerable to whatever injuries befall upon the host, in theory allowing the host to commit suicide to kill either of the brothers. After their separation, should any injury befall either of the brothers, they can merge with each other to heal. This way, their healing rate is much faster than that of a normal human's, though it depletes a large amount of chakra. If Sakon is the one to lay dormant for healing, Ukon will have trouble as he is not used to being the lead body.
After injecting Sakon and Ukon's DNA into himself, Kabuto was able to gain access to this kekkei genkai.
Advancement
Created by Kiyoshi thanks to Izanagi, this allows the users perfect control of every cell inside the body. Thus allowing them to heal themselves, create weapons, etc. However this also drains the user of their charka even outside of battle. Yet the benefits are great because there are so many. So long as the user can keep living normally or have a brain function, they truly can’t die. Their greatest weakness is metal armor and the never ending drain on charka. Because an organic object has cells, this doesn’t hurt the user as much as it normally should. In fact if given the chance the user can in fact place some of their own cells into the organic object thus taking it over. This is also why nonorganic objects are a weakness, they are harder to enter and can cause major damage to the user. History shows only four members of the Xerden clan having ever been able to master this technique including Kiyoshi, Aaron, Hajime, and Freyjadour otherwise known as Frey. Unlike the Normal Kekkei Genkai as well, this actually helps twins such as Hajime and Frey not have to worry so much as being in the same body, because of its great healing powers. However should they share a body the effects won’t be as bad since the second body can heal the main body during combat.

- If you are able to advance it you are not to use it in battle.
