The Park seemed like a fabulously easy place to spend so much time in; with the seasons changing, Aventine almost didn't eve mind being out so late. Sure, she could have been back home watching movies, or maybe out at a club, flirting up some cute boy, or—maybe even getting some of that beauty sleep that she loved so much.
She was still learning to balance 'Anella' with 'Aventine', and right now she had yet to grasp a proper average between the both of them. Aventine seemed to deliver more questions than answers, and while she loved the idea of mystery and adventure, none of it seemed real yet. And how was it supposed to? People in costumes? Monsters? Strange, magical powers? It was the stuff of legends—of fairy tales!
What the hell was she doing here? What could she do?
Chewing on the inside of her cheek, Anella debated with herself as she stalked the park. Realistically, the only way to find out was by doing something, though right now 'look around and try to stop evildoers' was a surprisingly difficult instruction to follow.
How were you supposed to stop evildoers if you couldn't find them? And, worse—how were you supposed to stop them from being evil if they didn't seem to be evil?
Aventine had picked up on a chaotic signature nearby and was making her way to it with a bit of excitement; it seemed familiar, and she wondered if it was the same Dark Mirror Senshi she'd run into earlier—or if it was one of the real bad guys.
…It might be nice to know what, exactly, she was up against, after all.

Toutatis had been out for quite a while now. And had collected quite a bit of energy. She was just about done now and really probably could have passed up this last energy meat sack by why the hell not. Of course, before she could even whip her Wraith out the guy had taken off. Apparently something about her scared him. Her? Scary? Nah. He had taken off into the park with her right on his heels. The added agility and speed was great for keeping up. And at this point Toutatis was merely enjoying the chase. The take down would be all the more sweeter. As they had entered the park though she noted a nearby Order energy but payed it little mind for the time being. Her focus of course on the fleeing civilian.

Aventine sensed the Chaos energy charging towards her, though it seemed to be very slow in processing. She saw some guy running for his life—and then some girl with and impressive head of hair charging after him.
Processing the scene might have been slightly slow, but Aventine was moving into action even before she realized it. She hastened to intercept the Dark Mirror Senshi and the fleeing civilian, shouting, "Hey! Cool your jets, what's the hurry?"
Aurora had been more than friendly during their encounter—but, then again, Aurora hadn't been hounding some poor guy that was clearly already scared out of his wits. She wasn't sure what this girl was up to—all she knew was that it was bad news, and if she could stop it, she was damn well going to try.

And there it was. These Order Senshi were so in to interrupting her nights. It was only slightly annoying. Stopping, Toutatis turned in the direction the voice had come from. The civilian continued running off into the distance. It didn't really bother her that he was getting away, she had more than enough energy to send back that the loss of him was no real big deal. Pale blue eyes locked on Aventine as she quirked an eyebrow. After getting a good look at the girl Toutatis couldn't restrain cracking a wide smile. Her outfit was quite a trip indeed. And so pink. The Venus symbols that adorned her clothes gave her enough information to identify that she was no Senshi, but someone that followed Venus. Her power signature wasn't that high so she assumed she was merely a Page. "I'm glad to see you are just like your other little friends, Pinkie. Always interrupting and intruding where you have no business sticking your little nose."

Pinkie? Pinkie?
Aventine's brows narrowed and she definitely didn't seem amused by the nickname. "Where I have no business? Let's be fair, Girlie, I was here, first. If you wanted to chase poor, innocent guys around the park, you should have done so somewhere else."
The girl in front of her was certainly a sight; she didn't look at all like Aurora, and had a creepy, odd get-up. Whereas Aurora had been rather cooperative and friendly, she could tell that this girl was definitely not the same breed of character.
Who the hell gets to show about sticking their nose where it doesn't belong when they're hounding some guy for no apparent reason, anyway? Even if Aventine had been the sort to turn the other cheek, this was definitely not something she could just excuse and let go.

Toutatis sighed. Rubbing the tip of her finger against her forehead as she let out a small laugh. "Look, Pinkie. I didn't ask him to run through the park, he just happened to head this way. So don't go getting your panties in a bunch. You're the one who came running to this part of the park, I was just running through it. Get it? You involved yourself. Thus sticking your nose in other people's business."The funny thing is, Aurora was one of Toutatis' good friends. Though its not to say they had the same view on things. "So Pinkie. Now what?" Crossing her arms over her chest, Toutatis raised both eyebrows at the other girl. Honestly if she was just going to waste her time about who had what right to do what in what place she'd probably just walk away.

"Well, honestly?" Aventine said, crossing her arms over her chest. "Now I've got half a mind to teach you some manners. There's no need to be rude if it was a simple misunderstanding, but I've got the faintest impression that you're just full of s**t. Who are you?" she challenged, figuring if she was going to make a bit deal out of this whole thing, she at least ought to know who she was up against.
Realistically, there was always the possibility that this was just one big misunderstanding, but that nagging feeling—that tingling in the base of her spine—told her otherwise. Perhaps it was just because the girl had the same dark energy, or perhaps she was just annoying, but Aventine couldn't shake what her gut was telling her.

A wide grin spread across her face, pulling her ruby lips tight against her teeth. "Now who is being rude again? I figured a beacon of Venus would be full of sunshine and rainbows. Who knew Pinkie had a dirty mouth."Sweeping an arm out in a rather sarcastic flourish, Toutatis' pale blue eyes narrowed slightly as her grin quickly faded. "Sailor Toutatis, Dark Mirror Senshi of Horror. And let me be the first to say that it will be my pleasure to show you the true meaning of it."Her head cocked slightly to the side suddenly. "And you?"

"Aventine, Page of Venus," she introduced with pride, though couldn't help but smirk at Toutatis' insult. "You speak big words for a girl decked out in a cheap Halloween costume. The only thing horrifying about you is your hairdo, so if that's your plan of attack, you win this round already."
Aventine, powered or not, was not one to back down from any sort of fight, be it verbal or physical, and she'd go home bruised and bloodied if that's what it took to defend her pride.

She laughed. "If anyone is wearing a cheap Halloween costume its you, Pinkie. I think if you wore anymore pink and frills I'd puke. Is that your plan of attack? To make me puke? If so you are pretty close to winning. But I think I have a pretty strong stomach."Insults about her outfit or her hair, they cut deep into her vanity. But Toutatis was in too much of a good mood right now to let it bubble up to the surface. She had control for now. "Are you just going to stand there and talk about my hair or are you going to 'come at me bro'? Cause I'm getting really tired of just standing here listening to your horse lips flap." Toutatis was ready. She wanted to punch this little Page's face in so bad it made her body vibrate with excitement. While she wasn't the greatest fighter yet, she would give this girl her all. Even if she lost there would be other times to grow, gain power and come back for a round two.

Aventine's expression soured; she could go rounds in a verbal spat; the girls often got into them with their opponents before and after a good rugby match. Something about this was different, though. Aventine wasn't one who liked to let others goad her into do much, but she had developed a very short fuse for this girl.
"It's cute, you know. That you talk like a big girl but are too afraid to make the first move. But it's okay," she cooed in a saccharine tone before she cracked her knuckles. "I'm woman enough for the both of us."
If rugby had taught her anything, it was the importance of elbows—and that was exactly what Aventine planned to utilize. She charged, not but a second after the last word fell from her lips. Her eyes on Toutatis, she didn't know what to expect from the Dark Mirror Senshi but knew that she was aiming to put her in a world of pain—and teach her to watch her mouth.

The sour expression on Aventine's face only caused a look of glee upon Toutatis' face. How easily these Order people were goaded amazed her really. "I was just waiting for you to put your big girl pants on." Her eyes locked on the other girl, Toutatis waited with her arms slightly raised. No point in wearing herself out by closing the distance when she could let her opponent do that for her. She might not of been the strongest of fighters but it was easy to pick up on ways to use your opponent to your advantage. And not tiring herself out from running and jumping about like Aventine seemed to be doing was probably her best shot. Eventually she'd move around, but in the initial stages of a fight it was best to conserve her energy. If she needed to use her powers instead of physical fighting Toutatis didn't want to be left completely exhausted from it.

Aventine wore an amused expression; words could only go so far, and this girl had pissed her off. She wanted a battle bit didn’t seem to have the guts to start it. Which was fine, since Aventine—at least in her civilian life—had picked enough fights.
She wasted no time in retorting, "You're the one holding back, sweetheart," before she charged. She didn't hold back anything—she didn't need to. Sports had left her primed and full of energy, and after seeing Toutatis chasing after that guy, she was pumped. She didn't aim a punch or kick; she aimed to elbow the girl—shove her over, something. As long as she could jam that elbow into her, she didn't care what she hit. As long as she was doing some damage.

She could have probably easily avoided the elbow. It was easy enough of an attack to see. But what would be the fun in hopping out of the way? Toutatis turned her body just slightly as Aventine drew near, allowing the elbow to follow through to her ribs. Sure she might be a little tender there but that allowed her to be in close for a more hand to hand attack. And honestly she preferred it that way. None of this ranged s**t. Wincing lightly, she whipped her left arm back quickly. Clenching her fist before pulling it back around. The inside of her wrist aimed at Aventine's head. If she was lucky she could get a good smack to the side or back.

Aventine took great satisfaction in jarring her elbow between Toutatis' ribs, and the blow that she received was well worth it. The rules were different in battle than they were in rugby, but without any referees around, that meant she could afford to play dirty. Which was good, since Toutatis' seemed to be one-upping her already. "Ow!" she exclaimed when the girl's wrist cuffed the back of her head. She saw spots, but—hey. She'd been hit harder before.
She tried to shake off the blow and growled, "You brat!" before using her weight to try and shove the senshi away from her. She wasn't sure if she'd really wanted a battle or just to buy the guy that had been running a little extra time, but either way—she hadn't wanted to hit someone as hard as she wanted to hit Toutatis in a long time.
