 The home of Kori Shirayuki where she lives with her father, mother, and older sister. Other Yuki clan members surround this house as the family seems to stick together wherever they are, much like the different flakes of snow stick to one another. All different, but together stronger.

A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori hopped over the fence surrounding her home, hoping that she could make it to her room quickly and quietly without being disturbed or bothered. She sneaked across the garden as quietly as she could, making sure to hide behind or in whatever she could and darting in between. Making it to the hallway, she opened and closed the door to her room and breathed a sigh of relief. She had made it without anyone seeing her. Moving around her room quickly she grabbed her treasure from its place and slipped it into her tools pouch for safe keeping. Grabbing her weapons for mission, she heard a rustle outside her door. Freezing in place, she stared at the door. Silence followed for a bit before a voice spoke outside her door."Kori I know your in there. Can I come in?"Sighing in defeat, Kori opened the door just enough so the person could enter. Inside walked a girl with the same color hair as her, equally long as her own. She was a bit taller and her eyes were filled with more experience. At her side were small fans that were folded up and in pouches easily pulled out for use. This was Kori's older sister, Furi and one of the few people Kori fully trusted.
"What do you want Furi?"
Furi smiled and gave her sister an understanding look. "You know you can't sneak into the house everyday to avoid our father."
Kori scowled at her sister, placing her hands on her hips. It wasn't directed at her and she knew it. "Well whenever he wants to be an actual father and not a tool of the clan, let me know. Until then, I will not go willingly to his side. How many times have you gone to him only to be "introduced" to some asshat from our family. I'll tell you- too. freaking. many."
Placing her hands upon Kori's shoulders, Furi's tone became softer and more gentle."So your just going to act like he doesn't exist just because of one wrong thing? He's still our father, Kori."
Kori's body sagged in defeat, though her eyes still flared with her will. "Well until he accepts that we will not be tied down by the clan and its old ways, I don't wish to see him." Removing herself from her sisters hands, she headed towards the door. "I've got a mission to do, with a new team and jounin, so I have to get going." As she slid the door open, her sister spoke before she headed outside. "I'll be here for you when you get back, Kori. Mom will too. Come home safe ok?' Kori nodded, not looking back and headed out the way she came, not bothering to sneak this time. Making it out to the street again, she headed toward the village gate, hoping she wasn't late.
.....oh wait, that was just my breath.

A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori arrived back home with a large bag of cookies from Noriko. She waved goodbye to her as she stood in front of her house. She didn't remember the last time she entered the house from the front door. She had always come in from the side or the back for the past few years since her falling out with her father. She took a deep breath and swung the front gate open, revealing the courtyard. She walked down the path to the door and slid it open. She noticed from the shoes at the front that only her sister and her mother were home currently. She breathed a sigh of relief. Maybe she wouldn't have to talk to her father today.
She placed her shoes in the front, next to her sister's and headed toward the kitchen. She placed the large bag on the counter as her sister walked in. "You never come through the front door. Something wrong today?" Kori glanced at the bag that she had received, remembering Mizuki's wisdom. "No. Nothing is wrong. Just got a different perspective today. Where's our father?"
Furi raised her eyebrow at her sister. "Alright. Unfortunately, he's not here at the moment. Some business elsewhere he had to do, he said. Left in a hurry." Furi stuck her hand into the bag and fished one of the large cookies out. She examined it for a moment before smiling."So you became friends with Nori's younger sister huh? What did you think of their mother?" Kori returned the smile. "She was nice, a little too much almost, but very caring and compassionate for her daughters." She fell silent for moment and looked at the bag again before facing her sister. "She gave me some advice for me on our father. I think I'm going to follow it." Furi bit into the cookie and chewed while Kori spoke. She shoved the rest into her mouth and swallowed before speaking."Funny enough, I got a similar talk with her once. Whatever you say and do with father is your call. I just hope we can smooth this out." Kori nodded and grinned. She headed to her room after explaining some things about the mission that she had done and how they had found Yuzuki. Furi congratulated Kori on her work. They talked for a few hours before Kori decided sleep was in order. She headed to her room and promptly passed out, exhausted from her day.

A few hours after she had passed out a sensation of dread and hunger would awake. The source was not known to her but it was clear it was not a need for a midnight snack for herself. The aura felt dark and tainted and extremely warm, uncomfortably so as if the heat was a sentient and oppressive force bearing down on her. Strangely enough there was no smoke whatsoever, but where was the source of this dreadful feeling sensation?

A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori awoke, unable to shake off the feeling that haunted feeling that had penetrated her down to her dreams. She wrapped a blanket around her form and walked outside, looking toward the source of her feeling. Why was it coming from the direction of Yuzuki's house?

The next morning Kori awoke and ate breakfast quickly. She decided to train at home for a change and headed out to the courtyard. There was a large pond that was there for the sole purpose of training the family's water techniques(or at least that's what Furi's reasoning was). Kori stepped onto the water's surface and sat on it, closing her eyes to think. She had brought it upon herself to train a new jutsu today, but she wasn't sure what she needed for it. Her blast of water was nice for pushing things away, but she wanted to have something forceful for offensive use. Her needles were good in this sense but they had no strong force behind them. She wondered if maybe she should try to improve something she already had, or try to make something new entirely. Problem was, she had no clue on where to begin. Her creative juices weren't really flowing too well, not with all of the things that had been going on as of late, with her team and goings on around the Cloud.
As she sat on the water, she felt another presence disturb the water's surface and she opened her eyes. Her sister stepped onto the water and sat in front of her. "What are you doing out here, Kori? Working on something?" Kori nodded and pointed at one of her targets on the far side of the pond. "I want to shatter that with a water style jutsu but I don't know how to go about doing it." Furi nodded and knelt down further to the water. She slurped up some water and swallowed a good amount. She formed the tiger seal and looked toward the target. Almost as if she was spitting, she reared her head back and fired a small ball of water at the target. Kori barely caught sight of it before it struck the target and punched a hole through it. "Something like that?" Kori nodded slowly. "Can you show me how you did that?" Furi nodded, smiling. "First get some water and swallow it. Be sure to start kneading it into a small orb in your stomach to form it properly. Then aim and spit it out of your mouth like you would to clear your throat. Kori followed her instructions and copied her sister's movements, taking water from the pond and focusing her chakra with the tiger seal. She reared back and brought her water ball to her mouth before focusing her chakra's force and spewing it toward the target. Kori obviously did something wrong as her attack literally left her mouth at the speed and tenacity of something nasty from her throat. Her ball of gross went a short distance before splashing into the pond, rippling its surface. Kori furrowed her brow and tried again. This time she took a larger breath and focused chakra into her mouth as well. This time the attack shot out of her mouth like a gunshot. The target that Furi had pegged before recieved a matching hole through it and Kori smiled. "It worked! Though I kinda feel a little gross after that."Furi laughed and stood up."Don't think too deeply into it, Kori. If you wanted to learn something then you gotta do it the right way." Kori sighed and followed her sister off the pond."I don't think Father will be back until later so you have time if you need to be somewhere. Just be sure to talk to him, ok? And don't forget those feelings from yesterday." Kori looked toward the door and decided to head out and find her friends, waving to Furi, who was heading back inside the hosue. " Thanks a lot for your help! I'm off, sister! Thanks for everything again!" She waved one last time to Furi and hurried out the door, heading toward the training grounds. Hopefully the other two and Tsuchia was there so they could work on some jutsu or get a new mission. She also wanted to show off to Yuichi and Yuzuki her new ability too. After all, half the reward was revealing your work to others!

But she never really had reason to go and see it till now. She had to admit though, that the place sure seemed rather… erm… devoid of warmth, to put it mildly. It was hard to explain, her house always had a ‘warm’ feeling to it, like you knew that there was someone waiting for you and that things were going to be just fine once you walked in that doorway. Here though… it seemed like you were going to enter a lonely house where there was nobody there to greet you. Not in an ominous way, but in one that made you feel like you were perhaps lonely or rather… just not around the warmth of a family. Yuzuki steeled herself and rang the bell. Huh, maybe she would be able to meet Kori’s older sister, Nori seemed to have a high opinion of her, so she couldn’t be all that bad. It seemed like they had always missed each other though. Furi would have just left with Noriko when Yuzuki came back or other such things, so she never actually got a chance to meet the girl that seemed to be at least acquaintances with her older sister. With the bell rung, all she really had to do now was wait for someone to answer the door, or at least some to come and tell her to get the hell off their lawn. Yuzuki took the opportunity to look around the yard a little more while she waited, damn… this clan was pretty well off by the looks of things. She wondered if they were rather snobby too… Thoughts: I hope that nobody shoots me for coming up the walk way or anything. O_O Feelings: Impressed and curious. Theme music: Zen Killer

An older looking Kori seemed to answer the door, her face full of curiosity and surprise. She looked the girl in front of her up and down, before snapping her fingers and pointing at Yuzuki in triumph. "Your Nori's sister aren't you? I'm Kori's older sister, Furi. Kori talks about you all the time! If your looking for her, she's in the backyard." She stepped out of Yuzuki's way and motioned with her arm, as if a servant was directing her master. "Please come in."
Although the house may have put of a cold feeling, Furi seemed to warm the air around her, her smile warming the air with its presence.

It took Yuzuki a few moments before she put a few more pieces to the puzzle together, right about the same time that Furi did. Yuzuki grinned when Furi pegged her as the sister of Norik, she placed her hand on her hip and tilted her head ever so slightly to the side. ”So you’re Furi then, it’s about time that I finally got to meet you. I’ve been teased with your shadow for a while now. Finally I can put a face to Noriko’s friend.” Yuzuki straightened up and the bowed slightly in a polite greeting. When she was welcomed in, Yuzuki passed the threshold and removed her shoes and then her weapons. Being so accustomed to her own house rules, she looked around to try and find where the shelf to put her weapons, not seeing one, she placed them by her shoes and followed Furi around, she seemed like a warm person, she kind of reminded her of her own sister in a way. She had the ice element… at least that’s what she gathered from Nori, yet she held a warmth about her that seemed almost motherly. ”I’m Yuzuki,” She confirmed out of politeness and followed Furi towards the backyard. ”So, you and Nori work together on occasion, huh? We’re you two on a team together or something, or is it that you complement each others fighting styles?” Yuzuki knew that Nori was a pretty balanced as far as her fighting style, which got her into the rank of Jonin to begin with, but maybe she was place in teams so that she could focus on one role or another. Yuzuki took the time to look around the house while she passed by, it seemed like such a traditional household. It was almost rather intimidating for Yuzuki to be in. Her house hold was something of organized chaos when it came to family, sure it was neat and tidy but sometimes things were rather… sporadic in their placement, and that would often change regularly to keep things fresh, Kori’s family looked like once you place something somewhere, it was there until the house fell down. When she got to the back yard and saw Kori she raised her hand and gave a bit of a wave.
”Hey Kori~! Tsuchia sensei has a mission for us. She wants us to meet her at the front gate when we’re ready.”
Thoughts: Everything is so... rigid... O_<
Feelings: I feel like I need to be elegant and regal here.

Kori's new look❋Kori Shirayuki ❋
A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori stood on the pond in their backyard, silently channeling her chakra through the water, her eyes closed in concentration. It felt the same as when her chakra was intertwined with the mist.
Her outfit was different now(thanks to her mother), now a flowing dress/skirt. Kori wasn't having bare legs however and had slipped on some tights and some shin high shoes. Her shoulders and neckline were now bare, a new feeling for her, though she still had sleeves.
She heard some noise and opened her eyes to see her sister returning with Yuzuki. She broke into a smile and hurried back to the shore to greet her friend. "Yuzuki!" She wrapped her friend into a hug, bringing her mouth near her ear. "Not a word about this outfit yet. I'm trying to please my sister and mother.", she whispered, her change in tone made it clear she wasn't happy about her change of clothing. She backed off, the smile back. "We have a mission? Didn't think we'd be that lucky. Well let's get going then. I'm ready when you are."
Furi smiled behind her sister and led the two back out towards the front door. "Good luck you two. Kori, be safe and protect Yuzuki and yourself. I don't want to be called up having to rescue my little sister and I'm sure Nori wouldn't want to have to help hers either."Furi winked after them and closed the door, leaving the two outside.
Kori let the smile drop and stamped her foot in frustration, her facade disappearing. "She knew I didn't like this, but she specifically made it impossible for me to slip away and change. I guess I'm stuck with this for now."

She looked over at her friend as she stopped her foot and pouted something fierce. Yuzuki, however tilted her head to the side before walking around Kori, expecting every inch of her, when she was finished she backed off a bit and placed her arms behind her back, leaning forwards slightly. ”Honestly… I like it, it looks really good on you.” Yuzuki said honestly, having a shorter skirt on her dress (even though she was pretty sure that Kori was wearing a Qipao) and no wear near the amount of clothes that Kori had on, she didn’t see it as Kori being underdressed or anything. Yuzuki glided behind her friend with a mischievous look on her face before wrapping her arms around her from behind, she rested her chin on Kori’s shoulder. ”I especially love the ‘off-the-shoulder’ look on you. The tights though… those need to go, I’ll help you out with that later.” Yuzuki removed her face mask and licked along her friends collar bone before backing off and giving her the space that she was likely craving. She pulled her mask back up with a slightly sinister giggle. ”Hell, we’ll probably get some allowance after the mission, so we can go shopping for you afterwards. We’ll have a girls day out of it.”
It was getting rarer for Yuzuki to have those days, even though she was a warrior and assassin, she was still a girl and enjoyed things like that on occasion. She wasn’t sure about how much Kori like them but that was to be seen, she guessed. ”Shall we head up to the gates then?”
Thoughts: OMG! Love the new Look! Give me a twirl, girl!
Feelings: Amused at Kori's reaction to the clothes.

A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori accepted her friend's compliment with a sighing smile. She didn't hate the outfit to be honest, she had just been caught off guard when her mother had surprised her with it. She didn't have a choice at the time and had no where to go with her sister backing her mother up. In the end, she had accepted it with a grain of salt.
She tensed a bit as Yuzuki hugged her from behind, but relaxed quickly. Yuzuki was warm and her shoulders appreciated it. She was unused to her shoulders being bare and it was going to be a task getting used to. Kori side-glanced Yuzuki at the comment of her tights. Those weren't going anywhere, and her glaring eyes mirrored her feelings.
"A shopping day? I usually go with my sister when we have a common day off, but I haven't been in a while since we have been busy...."
She looked towards the door where Furi had disappeared and smiled. She gave a quick nod of farewell and turned to her friend. "Yeah, let's get going."
