Personality: Setsuna is straightforward and honest, and is very perseverant when it comes to things that matter to her. She is altruistic and friendly, does her best to make others happy, and has a good sense of humor. At times, she can be a bit sentimental. She is very inquisitive, often asking questions in order to find the solution and/or reach a conclusion of her own. After her discovery of the Paranormal world, Setsuna is becoming more open minded; however, expecting the unexpected is still something she's getting used to. She will not hesitate to stand up for what is right and what she believes in, and will fight to protect those values, her friends, her family and those who cannot fight for themselves. However, she does have a tendency to become evasive whenever she's stressed out or in an awkward situation- for example, the subject of dating.

-Backpack: Still in usable condition, this seemingly insignificant item has been with Setsuna since the start of high school, and has never let her down. There's a few spots where she had to sew the holes up, but nevertheless, it still remains intact. It has been with her everywhere- from the day she met Tyrus Vanfankin, Semyaza, and the Elven Royals, to the war against Lilith, and now during her time in college and while she was being trained by Arthur. It's also useful for concealing Levi and Grim while on public transportation or public buildings that don't allow pets. Yep, this thing's got a story all it's own. Too bad it can't talk.

Growing up in the South Central side of Los Angeles, Setsuna had seen more than enough violence from the gangs running rampant through her neighborhood, and from the problems within her own family during her childhood. They could not afford to move someplace else, her aunt was a reckless troublemaker, and her mom was constantly getting verbally harassed at her workplace. Determined for Setsuna to have a better future than what the neighborhood was offering, her mother became a bit overprotective, constantly pushed her to excel in school. Even more, any friends she brought over were under surveillance during the visit- especially during her preteen years when she brought home a couple of friends who were guys. Still, despite the dangerous conditions, the family had very minor skirmishes with crime, and did their best to create a safe and welcome environment within their home for Setsuna and other children.
However, the minimal bliss was continually threatened. At twelve years old, her parents and grandmother died in a car accident, and with her aunt struggling to avoid falling apart, she was sent to live with her great-grandmother in Atlanta, which gave her the safer and more secure environment she needed to flourish. Although it took a while to accept the deaths of her parents and grandmother, she continued excelling in school, though it wasn't until the eight grade when she began to socialize with other kids again. Unfortunately, her great grandmother suffered a second- and fatal- heart attack at the end of her sophomore year of high school, which caused Setsuna to move back to Los Angeles- to live with the very same reckless aunt, who had gotten better while Setsuna was away.
During her senior year of high school, an encounter with a man named Tyrus Vanfankin on the transit bus led her to discover the Paranormal side of the world, and it wasn't long before she had an encounter with a few other individuals- the Elven King and Queen, the Wraith King Semyaza, and Tyrus's long lost brother Jack. Upon visiting the Elven Realm, Setsuna had found out the truth about her Aunt Shaniqua: the woman was turning into a vampire, and she was also a Hunter... the former being canceled out when Shaniqua disobeyed her employer's orders to kill someone. Afterwards, Setsuna had studied with Tyrus learning everything she could about mythological creatures and the like, learning about self-defense from Tyrus and her aunt, convincing her aunt and Rastinith to reconcile and restart their relationship- all while preparing for graduation.
During the events of Bleeding Catalyst, Setsuna and her newly acquired friend Leviathan were sent by Sahara's grandmother Viviane to Avalon, completing a quest which resulted in a fateful meeting with the Guardians. It was revealed that they had chosen her to take Sahara's place as a White Enmortal, which was unprecedented and surprising since Setsuna herself wasn't related to any of Viviane's kin. After she agreed, she was Changed into an Enmortal, with Leviathan becoming her guide; however, becoming a White Enmortal rested on Sahara's decision of whether she would kill Lilith (thereby killing herself at the same time) to become the Mother of Demons and the new Dark Enmortal, or merge with the woman once more. Sahara chose to end it once and for all and kill Lilith. With Sahara becoming the Dark Enmortal, Setsuna was given Sahara's title of White Enmortal to balance out chaos. She is pure, a balanced being with powers in Life and Death. White is the color of both, and has been connected with the Elders of Sahara's kind for millenia.
After the fateful decision, Setsuna had to be trained to re-access her powers. As such, she fell under the mentorship of the legendary Arthur Pendragon, whom she had met during her Quest. Throughout the year of training, she grew fond of the Once King, and spent time with her Twin whenever possible. Of course, she attended her Aunt Shaniqua and Rastinith's wedding... and unfortunately, it got chaotic once the vows were complete. She assisted in quelling it before things even more got out of control.
Now with the war among Paranormals breaking out and threatening humanity, Setsuna has put aside most of her personal goals for the time being. She is aiding the Revenant and focusing on not only helping to save the race she was once a part of, but also in bringing the war to a halt before it obliterates both humans and Paranormals alike. With the addition of preventing her Twin from mentally going off the deep end, resting isn't anywhere near her list of priorities. However, there have been a few moments of peace for her; during the past few months, Arthur Pendragon had invited Setsuna out on "not-a-dates", and two of those outings resulted in Setsuna's first and second kiss. About a month later, the Once King had finally asked her out- and Setsuna couldn't be any more elated to be with him.
