He had no idea what the two lions were up two, but they made no further motion to attack him. That didn't mean they weren't capable of turning on him as quickly as they had before, and he remained silent as they lead him through the dark maze of trees. Quiet, he winced with every step, the muscles in his back pulling as the fresh wounds, and bringing his attention again and again to the state of his own wings. What feathers long enough to reach dragged on the ground, and the rest were torn to the bones, making nothing more than two strange limbs of white covered in dirt, blood, and feathers twitching and jerking in pain as he moved.
His head was warm, and it was hard to look ahead, but he didn't ask to stop. They wouldn't care. Creatures who showed this sort of cruelty would not be up for a simple mercy of a break.
Despite his wings being as they were, his eyes kept flickering up to the sky, willing his wings to return as they were, to time to rewind back, or to see a set of wings above to come down and rescue him. A god guardian of sorts, but he had never met one. Gods were there for mortals, but there was no one around for gods.
Panting, his movements were becoming sluggish and he felt unable to move. "I need to stop." He gasped.

The day had started out wonderful, all of their children were fed, the pride was thriving enough to her pleasure and the sun was high and very very warm. The only thing missing was her beloved, now she knew Crue and Diablo were on the hunt for something, but what? And should they have returned by now.
These questions didn't so much worry her, no instead they irked her. He was a King now, not a lion whom could roam off and do as he pleased. His place was here at home, or off in battle. And as far as she knew, there was no battling to be done as of it, though she was sure they'd be defending themselves from avenging prides eventually.
"That lion better get home soon...." She grumbled, perhaps a tingle of worry expressed in her tone.
But the surprise Crue had in store for her, would surely change her attitude. Though it was ofcourse, still, a surprise.

Crue and Diablo had walked in silence as they made their way home. Though Crue was standing as tall as he possibly could. He was a King, and he had caught a God. He couldn't help but feel a wave of pride. He couldn't wait to show Sabia. She would be so proud. She-
'I need to stop.' Came the pitiful gasp of the male he had behind him. Crue turned his head, eyes narrowing as he stared at the creature. He was broken, and bloody. Crue was proud of his handiwork, as the gods wings were nearly destroyed. He found himself wondering if they would even work again once they'd healed. He had never met a god before, he wasn't sure how their wings worked.
"Too bad. We are almost there and you can stop then." He responded.
Diablo came from behind, shoving the god a bit to keep him moving. He wanted to get home. His paws were tired and he could feel hunger taking his belly over. He wasn't going to snack on the god in front of him, but he wanted -something-.. anything.. He was just so hungry.
"Yeah. I'm not looking to stop either." Diablo said. They walked in silence a little longer, before Crue stopped and looked back.
"Diablo, go." He said, his nose scenting the air. He smelled Sabia nearby. They were finally inside the pride borders.
"Take your post, I will take care of this." He said, dissmissing the lion. Then he looked at the god.
"I have someone you might just like." He said, though his smile was malicious. He wouldn't like Sabia. Sabia tended to be more dangerous than even Crue.

Khuluma was pushed along and if he hadn't been already harmed, he would have plopped down in protest. He had only tested to see if they would have a different attitude to someone they already captured and harmed. It hadn't, and he was left to press on though his own blinding pain and bleeding back and wings.
Will I ever fly again?
He didn't know and a fresh wave of panic and sorrow washed over him all over again. As the other lion was called off to man a post, no doubt to scout for more gods, he was left with the other. Khuluma already knew this one called the shots and debated running but he already knew that, on ground, Crüe was faster and stronger. Head low, he followed buy slowed again in a sad attempt at defiance.
"Like to meet? Don't pretend you want to do anything I might like." He hated this mortal and didn't want to know what he had planned.

Had they been further away, Crue may have allowed the god to rest. It had been a bit of a walk and he knew it was painful. But Crue had trudged this journey, and when Sabia was fresh from having a litter, she pushed on as well. If she could do it, Crue was almost positive that this god could too. "You should watch your tongue. In case you haven't noticed, it's I who is in charge here." He said, without looking at the yellow creature. Golden eyes were scanning the area, and he was glad for the cover of darkness. Most were sleeping, or out doing things they didn't want others to see. Sabia though.. She'd be awake. As she never slept if Crue wasn't home. It was part of the reason he loved her. There was that word.. Love.. He wasn't even sure that's what it was, but if it was.. He was okay with that. He let out a roar, one that everyone had accustomed as a call for the female he had claimed. No one ever responded to that call, save for Sabia.

Still having no idea what was going on at the time she was beyond exhausted and in a rough attitude. Crue had yet to return and.. ROAR.
The deep bellow crawled up her spine and left a tingle between her shoulder blades. Her King had returned to the pride lands, almost like a cub she became giddy, though her giddy was ruthless rather than pure excitement. The pair of them had a unique relationship and fortunately for them it held strong, their lives and bond that could be love depended on it.
Moments of silence passed as the great sound rang and then Sabia followed suit, letting Crue hang on the whims of her return call. Her own ferocious roar soon took place and the silence then followed. With that she was off, her paws carrying herself rather quickly for a lion. It wouldn't take long for her to find Crue and when she did she was going too..
It didn't take long at all, and what he had with him was certainly going to need an explanation. Bright, exotic yellow pelt, wings, tattered and torn in a recent battle and the look that screamed nearly broken wrote across it's face. "Well m'dear.. whom has followed you home this time?" She cooed. Her initial craving to seek, search, nearly destroy then ravage had dissipated quickly.
"And a better question yet.. can we keep him?" Her eyes turned to the creature, a grin, wicked as can be spread on her lips awaiting the explanation of such a prize.

When her call returned to his ears, he smiled and sat on his haunches. His eyes didn't leave Khuluma's direction. Making sure his prize didn't manage to sneak off. Though it wasn't likely he would get anywhere if he had tried. The guards who were set up around their posts, they would surely see him trying to escape. She seemed to appear out of thin air, that's how fast she got to his side. Her eyes lit up with curiousity once she lay eyes on the small god in front of her. No matter how small this guy was, he was happy he had managed to capture him regardless. "Nothing followed me, I assure you. I had to play with him a little bit first." He said, chuckling. "I brought him home as a prize to you, so you may keep him. Though his wings may heal, maybe we can just break them again later." He said, stepping closer to her and nuzzling her, then turning to look at Khuluma again.

He had never been this nervous and aware if others than here and now. Since living with Palahala, the god of prey, he had learned to listened and flee - or so he thought. If h hadn't been so cocky about his own immortality and the security of flight, he might have heeded the little kilspringers who had tried to teach him to be aware of predators. Predators like Crue.
Now that he was alert, he noticed the feel, the unsettling presence of other mortals in the dark of the woods. His eyes were watching when he jerked at the sound of Crue's roar. Khuluma would have been impressed by how well his voice could carry if he wasn't confused and worry what the roar meant.
Then, out of the dark, a slender figure appeared by the lion's side. Still bigger than he was, but more curved than Crüe. It was clear now who he had called by their nuzzling and playful banter. Khuluna had a bitterness to adult lionesses, and the mention of being her prize an breaking his wings again only made him sick.
"I am no one's prize, mortal." He huffed, though was minding himself to pick what he said. His bleeding back was a good reminded to mind hi tongue for now. As it was, his head was hot and thought swimming too much to think straight. He felt drained, sore, and weak in his legs.
"There will be repurcussions for what you have done." He managed, but his vision was dimming already. Now that he wasn't forced to walk, he was near to collapsing and his frame was swaying slightly.

Sabia Deimos could get a better look now, being closer and aware of what the other fellow was.. a God. In all of her days, from birth to now she never ever once thought she'd lay eyes on such a creature, let alone one that was beaten by a vicious mortal. Her heart drummed with the rush of the whole scene.
"It looks like you played a little rough m'love.." Her words faded slowly as she watched the beast, of course he had struggled, claimed he wasn't a prize and that they would pay. "Oh Gods, so full of themselves that even now, in defeat, they assume they can get back to their feet?" She purred, it turned to a quick and deep growl while she faced him.
She was definitely confident in the prides ability to keep individuals, a sweet reminder that they still kept the original heir under wraps. "Oh, Crue.." She gushed dramatically. " He is a perfect prize, and all for me?? I'm sure Noira will be just as pleased to hear of these accomplishments." Noira, the female lioness that had taken on the role of 'Lady in Waiting' when Crue and Sabia joined the pride had become something of a 'best friend' for Sabia. The dark individual enjoyed the same desires as herself and Crue did.
"Can he still walk, or have you broken him to much?" She gazed upon the God like he was simply another piece of meat, her word had changed, becoming more powerful sounding, a few steps away from her 'Queen' voice. This was of course a serious matter, that she would cherish in the dark corners of the Slaves quarters. "If he can walk in a little then we ought to move him, if he can't.. we shall get a few lions to drag the body." She smiled, though her voice had changed the smile remained wicked and was aimed directly at Khuluma.

"You are a prize. Prove to me you aren't." The tone was serious, and Crue only bothered turning his head to look at the fallen God at the end of the sentence. If Khuluma was to fight, Crue would fight, and he was sure it would gather all the watching eyes that were staring from the forest darkness. They weren't alone, even if it seemed like no one was around. "The only reprecussions shall be yours, slave. You are ours, and I will make sure to prove it, if you still think otherwise." Crue's voice was firm, daring. He taunted the god, though he had a feeling that there was nothing Khuluma would do. The short fight they had had, he knew that the god was a terrible fighter. His attentions softened when he turned to look at Sabia. He shrugged, but spoke. "Yes he can walk, though for how long I can't tell you. He's been walking a while, and he's been drooping more and more with each step." He didn't particularly want the male to pass out. He was a small lion, but it would still take a few of them to carry him to the slave's quarters. "Let's get him moved, while he can walk."

Sabia was quick to agree with the males request soon after he had responded. She was still watching the God. It was beyond strange that such a creature could simply be caught, if she hadn't been so sure of Crue's capability she would have suspected a plot, something to cause demise in their new territory and home, but she had been sure that the lions here had no Gods they sought.
Thoughts calmed as she forced that spark out. There was no place for even an inkling of fear, not that it usually rang a tune in her chorus of emotions. All she focused on now was her mates voice, full and strong and the satisfying creaking of the Gods battered body as it moved to stand, she was sure.
"God, follow us a little faster, perhaps you will be graced will a moment of peace." Her promises were more than likely false, she lied through her teeth same as the truth most spoke. At this point, the peace she offered was simply his passing out from pain. Which she was sure would happen when they got to the quarters where the slaves stayed, their damned souls forever shackled by the orders produced on a regular basis.

Peace. He doubted he would have a moment of peace again. He had been at peace when he was taken. No. His mind was nothing but turmoil and panic now.
While he was challenged to speak otherwise and prove he was not a prize, Khuluma could do nothing and thus only shrank slightly. What else could this mortal do to his body to ruin it further? He didn't want to venture.
Instead, he made the motion to move, but he far too exhausted, his vision dimming even more before he stopped again. The short break for Crue to talk to his beloved had been enough to use up what little moment the god had to keep going, and he stood in place, his legs twitching as he tried to stand. So much blood and pain.
Before he could catch himself, he toppled to one side, kicking up dust around him.

Crue wasn't as paranoid as his mate. No, he was too confident in his abilities to see anyone as a threat. This god was a little one, and he was sure that had been why he had been so easy to beat down. But had he been bigger, the fight just would have lasted longer, but they would have brought the same consequences. Of that he was sure. When the God fell, he growled. Stalking up to him, and landing a swift paw on his rump, claws unsheathed. "Get Up." He demanded brutally. He was growing tired himself, and it had been the better part of the day since he had eaten. He wasn't weak, but he wanted this creature safely put away in a slave's den before he would take the time for himself. "You are almost there, and if you cannot make it, then I shall drag you by your wings." He said, looking to Sabia. "Help me lift him up, my Queen. Otherwise we will be here all night."
