White light blazed before the eyes of the young prince, so bright that it made his eyes sting and he was forced to close them. It felt like his body was being torn apart from the inside, and he couldn't really tell if he was screaming or not. Everything was white hot and seared painfully. One minute he was using a cursed sword to defend his kingdom from monsters and next he found himself like this. What had happened? All he knew was that it hurt terribly and the sounds of his kingdoms people had all faded into the distance...Distance? That was the only way to describe it. He remembered being given an amulet to contain something? The curse...right. Then there was white, and now? The pain had faded so where was he? He could feel a breeze, a soft breeze that coaxed the male into opening his sky blue orbs. Speaking of the sky, there was a rather large expanse of it above him and that jolted him into awareness once again. In what seemed like only a few seconds he was on his feet, then back on the ground as his head spun. Once again he stared at the sky, well that hadn't worked out very well. Calming himself down he took his time to get up, slowly looking around. Where were the castle walls and the ruin? What had happened to the people and the battle? His head was aching from all the questions that ran amok in his mind. It was then that a sharp pang shot through his mind, a dull awareness that wasn't his own....the curse...a demon, right! How could he forget about the...thing, that was now residing in him?

Gritting his teeth he set to walking, which was a bit harder than he would have thought it would be. Luckily he found his way out of the trees and out onto a gavel road, something used for carriages he assumed. Though the area itself seemed rather deserted except for a small trail of smoke that rose into the sky, from a hut or something no doubt. He wasn't sure how long he continued to walk, taking the road until he couldn't any longer and had to slip into the trees once again, always wary of any monsters that may be lurking in the darkness of the forested area. Once again he forgot how long he had walked, finding himself in front of a door in a small clearing. The smoke made him almost one hundred percent sure that someone was living there....hopefully a someone at least. Lifting a wary hand he knocked on the door, finding that no one answered and so he placed his hand on the door handle and twisted, finding it to open easily. Well, he was too tired to leave and if he was attacked here he would die without a doubt...so he may as well take a chance right? And so he slipped into the home, his eyes scanning the room warily "Hello? I'm sorry to intrude but....I.....Can't seem to figure out just where I am" He voiced, not really loud, but not exactly quietly either. He wasn't even sure if there was anyone home...he was assuming not right now, but you never know.

At the sound of a voice behind him the prince jolted, turning on heel quickly, which resulted in him becoming quite light headed and toppling over, hitting his head on the wall as he landed. Quickly the prince clutched his head with a hiss of pain, bright blue eyes squinting slightly as he looked up at the man near the door. He hadn't been there before! Right...? Well he wasn't actually sure so he could have been wrong. For a moment he sat there, slightly dumbfounded and fixated on the pain that would probably result as a lump on his head. "I ugh, sorry" He stammered, somehow managing to pull himself together and get to his feet, slowly. "My name is Prince Julian Alexander Avellin, from the kingdom of Levenia.... I....Might I ask where I am?" He voiced, not really thinking to ask for the mans name. "I'm just lost" He added with a calmer tone, though the ache from the bump he had just received made his head hurt terribly. So much so that he was having a hard time putting words together...funny how that goes hand in hand.

He hadn't noticed the faint tattoo like marking on his skin either, or that it was a tinge darker than usual. Which was a lot, since he was generally quite fare skinned. His sky blue eyes had taken on a soft crimson hue, and the demonic aura from him slipped out for a moment, before it seemed to fade away again, leaving him looking as he had when he first walked in. Though he was completely unaware that this had happened, and it was probably quite obvious from the look on his face. He was indeed a very clueless prince at this point, and it would sound like he came from some make believe kingdom...though his tone was too assuring to be a lie. Plus he probably couldn't tell a good lie to save his own life, or at least that's what the people in the kingdom would tell him.

Julian stared at the man blankly for a moment , no such thing? Of course there was! But when he told him just where they were it started to come together "Not in this world huh" he muttered, slight panic setting in. That meant his kingdom was left protected only by the guards and his mothers rule...that was bad. " I told you who" He stated sternly, he wouldn't lie about who he was! But what did he mean when he asked 'what are you?'. or maybe....The thing that possessed the sword? that could be it. "I'm human. But I think...No, I know I've been cursed by a sword I inherited... I had to use it in battle and the next thing i knew i was here. I think the only thing keeping what ever is inside of me is this" He muttered, tugging a pendant from his pocket which glowed faintly for a moment when it came in contact with his skin, before it faded.

"I have...a monster inside of me" He murmured, letting everything settle in. Since when had he been so tired? And his mind was all foggy.....all he wanted was to sleep and once again he found himself on the floor, apparently having fallen backwards and now he lay on the floor staring wide eyed at the ceiling. "s**t... what do I do now" he whispered under his breath, a frown pulling at his lips as sky blue eyes narrowed in frustration.

Julian made no motion to get up, simply staying where he was on the floor seeing as his own body refused to comply right now. "A monster... I don't know the details specifically but it's a demon that was sealed into a sword by a bunch of court wizards from my kingdom. But the royal family are the only ones able to touch the sword, and not go crazy. The only consequence is that the bearer is cursed as has to take in the demon and harbor it in their body...that's all i really know" He voiced, noting that his own voice sounded a bit distant to him. Probably because he was so tired that even his eyes had nearly shut before he forced them to open a bit more again.

Finally he pushed himself into a sitting position, ignoring the protesting muscles throughout his entire body. It seemed that a full day and night of fighting, plus having to harbor a demon was really weighing on him and he found himself longing for sleep. Before doing anything else however he pulled the long chain that hooked to the pendant over his head and tucked it into his shirt. He could feel a slight coolness run through his body, though in a sense it made him feel...restricted. "It's fine if you see me as a mad man... I need to find a person to help me figure this out and break this curse..then i'll find a way home." He muttered, his head still pounding fiercely, though it had dulled a bit when he put on the pendant. "If you could tell me, are there any inns or towns around? If not i'll have to sleep in the open tonight" He stated, not intending at all to ask to stay here. It didn't seem to him that the crimson eyed man liked him, plus he found him a little nerve wracking himself. He had never seen someone with blood red eyes, it was unnerving.

He had no idea that the only thing that was truly keeping him sane at the moment was the pendant around his neck and if he removed it now the creature inside him would surely break free. "I'm sorry to intrude on you in the first place" He added, sincerity clear in the males slightly husky voice, a melodic tone making it quite easy on the ears. If one inspected him clearly it was obvious that despite being a prince he had never simply lazed about. His hands were rougher after many years of sword practice and he wasn't scrawny, though he didn't put on bulky muscle. The only word to really sum up the lovely male with golden blonde locks and icy blue eyes was, princely.

Julian stared at the male in something almost like awe and a bit of surprise. He was going to let a total stranger stay? And someone with a beast inside of him no less! Well it wasn't like he could complain so he simply nodded and struggled to his feet, nearly tripping as he followed the male to the other room and graciously accepted the blanket and pillow. "Thank you... It means a lot" He murmured, bowing his head a bit as he spoke. He'd always been a bit humble, but this was truly a kindness. He then lifted his gaze and let a rather contagious smile slip onto his lips, one that probably made him seem a bit younger than he was. Not saying that he was that old however, only about twenty-one or so. Still his smile had always been described as dazzling, though people never really told him that. He was simply that secret crush that most girls gazed upon from afar and fantasized that he would one day notice them.

"I'll um...talk to you in the morning then" He murmured as he wandered over near the fireplace to set himself up a makeshift bed with his pillow and blanket. It didn't really take him long to fall asleep, seeing as he didn't even bother to bundle himself up under the blanket and simply lay on it. The pendant seemed to glow softly , slipping from under his shirt though it still remained around the males neck. He hadn't even minded if the man was still in the room or not, he'd simply fallen asleep that quickly.

Julian was deep in sleep, unable to notice the shift between his own consciousness and that of the demon inside him. His skin darkened in an instant and strange marking that looked somewhat like tattoos covered his skin. Crimson eyes darted open, the color strikingly different from the soft sky blue color they generally were. A feral growl tore from his lips as he was in a crouch ready to attack the long haired male at any moment. Crimson eyes narrowed and a hostile aura filled the room, fangs replacing the males once normal canines. The pendant had been repressing the creature inside of him and now that it was off of him it was free, and quite restless. Plus there was a stranger in the room and he didn't like it. Without hesitation he lunged at the male, his nails having grown longer and sharper than before, proving to be a far more deadly as well.

A now not so friendly Julian hovered above the male, contemplating what would be the best way to end the males life. Yes, even as a beast he had some kind of thought process, though it wasn't the friendliest to say the least. Crimson eyes narrowed at the mans words, a soft snarl escaping him as he leaned down and bit into the mans shoulder, wondering just how much pain that would cause, completely unaware of the binding spell the man had managed to set in motion. There as no way that he could retaliate against it either, seeing as in this state he was powerful, but not powerful enough to take on a wizard...especially not one like Ellis.
