A millenia ago the Seraph were created to destroy the Nephilim and demons populating the mortal realm. Rastinith Voltiri and his sister Ankmalias were sent as Captains over the force of Seraph kind to bring down the Paranormal races. They slew without discernment, and it was they who began the myths and truths about these abominations that walked the Earth.
Alongside his sister and kin, Rastinith banished the demons to their realm. After the greater battles were won, their kin left to the Heaven's and the twins remained behind to protect the human race. In an act of power they created the Hunters, mortals who fought the Paranormals where they could no.
For hundreds of years he fought with his sister. Until Shaniqua Daniels came into his life. The woman, a vampyre fledgling, was his mission. Babysitting, he had called it. That night at a club in LA she managed to make her way into his heart. Unable to really help himself, Rastinith pursued her and the two had an uneasy relationship that was marred by Malia and ended when he left the Hunters to fight with the Paranormals. Rastinith changed his ways the night a Werewolf child was saved by her mother, and he saw a flash of humanity in the creature's eyes. The child wept, and the only sanction he could give her was to clear her mind and vow to forever work to mend his life. The next morning he left the Hunters and Shay, who he refused to bring more hardship to.
Four years later they ran into each other again. Rastinith was her target, Malia wished him dead. He openly expressed his emotions for her, unknowing of the situation. Miracles, apparently, do occur in his life, for she could not kill him. Thanks to the aid of her niece, their relationship began anew. That same year Lilith attempted to reclaim Earth. During the events of the battle Rastinith realized he tired of time taking Shay away and asked her to marry him.
She said yes. The marriage commenced with Shaniqua's niece and her Twin present, and of course, chaos had to ensue. But married they were, and Rastinith seemed to finally find some peace.
Naturally chaos brews once more. He now stands with the Revenant to save the human race and stop this war, with his wife at his side.
