Bukaera watched as the sun came up through the trees. He had found a den for him and Shinrin to rest in. By now he wondered if there were search parties looking for him. He thought not, since he was famous for wandering away from his duties in favor of going on rogue adventures. He glanced back at the den. This adventure had been something pretty special, much more than what it could have been.
As the sun came up, the grasses covered with dew sparkled. The smell was refreshing to his nose. The area was much better then the tunnels underground. He was always glad to get away from that.
He had really lucked out this time. He could be underground in the dark, dealing with members he didn't always get along with. Instead he was here with a lovely leopardess. One whose looks matched her personality. It was always wonderful to meet those who were kind as well as beautiful.
Normally he would have sneak away in the night, to avoid having to depart from his companions. He hated saying goodbyes. They were always difficult. However he wanted to be with Shinrin longer. In the end it would probably be much more difficult for them to go their separate ways, but it was worth it to be with her longer.

 She still carried the pink flower tucked behind her ear from the previous day, the stem beginning to mold to the shape of the back of her ear. And just as she felt yesterday, she truly did not feel as if she could meet a more wonderful gentleman, a more wonderful creature. She had experienced many meet and greets with rouges of all kinds, but she never could have ever imagined that a simple meet and greet could ever turn out in the same way that this one had!
In the early dawn light, the droplets of water that settled on the tips of the grasses sparkled like little stars, the evaporation of the dew making the earth smell so strongly and fresh as she took in a very deep breath through her nostrils. There was nothing like living under the open skies! With the exceptions of having a den or a tree for shelter overnight and such! What would she do without being able to see the skies forever?
The muscles in her legs and those attached to her spine were feeling rather stiff, so she pressed her chest into the ground and stretched her paws out as far in front of her as she could. She felt and heard as she cracked her back, feeling as her muscles stretched further and further out with her body. When she relaxed them all and settled herself properly again, she immediately felt so much better than she had before, mentally and physically, as well as much more awake.
A sudden flicker of a thought flashed through her mind; she knew less about this male than she realized she did. She knew nothing of his family, nothing of his home. She just assumed that he was a rouge, just like her. She found him all on his lonesome in the very middle of the rouge lands, solitary just as she is. But what if this male belonged somewhere, had a home? If he did, what could he be doing out here? She was so wrapped up in how amazing of a creature that he was that she forgot to ask him about those simple things, although she had asked him about some other things in their places.

Bukaera glanced at her and gave her a warm smile. "How are you doing this morning?" He loved the fact she still had the flower behind her ear. It made him feel special, especially since he was the one who picked it for her. He wondered what was going to happen between them. Eventually he would have to say good bye, but he didn't even want to think about that yet. There was still time for them to be together.
But it was only fair to her that he tell her that he won't be around impermanently. He did not want her to be sad once he had to go, but he also couldn't sneak away. If he did that he could never see her again. His stomach felt like it was twirling inside him. Why did all the most wonderful things happen at the wrong time? If he was younger he could have stayed with her, if he didn't have any prior commitments. If Ekaitz was never his son.
That was something he should mention. His son from a short fling he had. He was covered with secrets, one after another. It was strange, he never meant to keep all the secrets, but it just happened. He gave Shinrin another smile. If he wanted to keep their relationship he needed to tell her. Because once he left back to Mazu, he thought it would be nice to see her again and continue to be friends.

She felt like an ecstatic cub as soon as he gave her direct attention, speaking to her for the first time of the day. It was nice to hear his voice as soon as she woke up, she noticed! It made her heart flutter and caused that happy simmer to light up in her eyes!
"Good morning, Bukaera!" she purred deeply at him. She shook off her body like a canine would before blinking the sleep out of her eyes before continuing, "I'm doing rather good! I had such a wonderful sleep last night! Such a peaceful, fulfilling rest!" She truly did feel very rejuvenated after the sleep she had last night; probably because how at peace and happy her soul still was for interacting and spending the day with this new gentleman in her life!
"But how are you doing, sir? Did you sleep well last night?" she asked sweetly, her own, actual concern peaking through her words. She would love to know how he slept, for it would be optimal for him if he also had a good sleep! A good sleep was good for absolutely every and any creature, and was one of the keys to a successful day!
"Is there anything you want to do today? Anywhere in particular you want to go?" she asked him curiously. Maybe he would mention a home or a pride or have a friend he may want to visit!

He watched her with a warm smile. "Morning." Bukaera said simply, still thinking about telling her the truth. "I am glad that you had a good rest. I did as well. There were only a few night terrors that troubled my peaceful night. But it hardly ever when terrors don't enter my dreams." He didn't feel like elaborating on the subject, though if she asked he wouldn't mind doing his best to tell the truth.
He thought about places he wanted to go. There was a pond, near one of the entrances to Mazu that would be nice to show her. However he only liked going there at night, when the fireflies were out. Most of the area he knew was near Mazu and he wasn't sure if he was ready to go back there, especially with a leopardess.
There were places he had been to before he joined Mazu. "Well there are the tree canopies. I used to go there when I first started traveling in the rogue lands. There are places where you can see all sorts of bird. But it is pretty far away. I could show you some tunnels though," he thought about some of the more private tunnels of Mazu that he could show her, the ones none of the brother's traveled. "The pride I come from is completely underground. There are some off shoots that I can show you, with underwater streams. They have fireflies light up the tunnels as well, though when they are let free in the tunnels, it is fun to watch them dance around in the caves."
He didn't know if he would get in trouble for showing a stranger part of the pride, and a female stranger in fact. However he would risk it if she was interested. If anything he could say that he forgot that strangers weren't allowed in the pride.

She simply sat and stared at Bukaera with wide, grinning eyes, listening intently to each and every letter to his words. Her tail raised up and slightly waved back and forth, so relaxed and so happy that she was hearing such positive things coming from his throat. She was just so happy that he had such a wonderful sleep during the night! And the weather as they slept couldn't have been more comfortable; so warm and coaxing, yet not too humid at the least. She was even able to curl up next to her new and dear friend a little bit through the night and she still wasn't too warm!
Her mouth opened in a large smile as he went over different kinds of places that he had previously seen. Her heart began to race rapidly at the very vivid images that flashed through her mind of these mystical and beautiful places, imagining all of the beautiful colors and smells that their environments contained. What place should she possibly vouch for out of those he was offering to her? They all sounded absolutely outstanding!
"Tunnels? Like in caves and such, underground? You mean like those really large dens~?" she mrrowed, her eyes widening and her ears focused very intently on his mouth. She had never been in or seen such a place before, herself! She heard of such places before, but had never been fortunate enough to lay her very own eyes on such a place. And wow, fireflies could live in those caves in the dark? All the time?! Could such a place really exist? How magical!Club Snails I'm so, so, so, so deeply sorry for making you wait so long!!!!!!

“Yep, sort of like dens. The tunnels lead to dens and a lot of time we have members actually dig out dens for other members. In the pride everyone has a task to do. They are almost always busy.” Bukaera explained with a grin. He was watching her expression. “I can show you part of it, away from the other members. I am still new to the pride so I don't know how they will take strangers. That and it is a mostly male pride. I am sure that as long as you stick with me it will be okay for you to visits.”
He thought that he could show her the tunnels that were lite up by fireflies. Hopefully they wouldn't be exchanging them though. The catchers often took care of the fireflies, always making sure that all the tunnels were brightly lit. If they were lucky they would go during a time there were too many fireflies and they had to let some go.
“We could also snatch up some nets and go firefly catching ourselves, though we would need to wait till it is much later. I have been told that firefly catching is one of the more enjoyable task in the pride. They take nets, nets they made themselves out of thin fur and wood and go around catching fireflies.” He said. He had never actually seen any of the catchers catch fireflies. Once he saw them working on their nets. Usually they make it out of different materials, not necessarily just out of fur.
“But I am going to leave it to you to decide where to go. I would be more then happy to take you anywhere you would like to go. I would feel honored to escort you where ever you would like to go.” [.Silvr-Moon.] No worries! I don't mind waiting. Adorable rp is adorable.

"Oh wow! That's incredible! It must take a lot of work to just dig out something so large! A regular den seems like such work; I guess that's why us leopards seem to like just climbing into a safe, comfortable tree instead of using our claws to dig such things," she mrrowed like a domesticated cat, waving her tail around again back and forth from out behind her in excitement. What adventures and knowledge this male, Bukaera, had! He was such an incredible individual to have been to so many places, have such a wonderful personality, and to have such skills! And to live in a pride, a leopard?! Wow how amazing and, dare she say the word, 'cool'! She hadn't really heard of leopards joining prides, usually lions, but she could easily believe that other felines may want to join such living groups.
"Could we really go there? I would love to go to such a place, even only once in my lifetime! It must be so amazing and unique there! I would love to have such a place in my memory! And maybe if I have future cubs I could tell them all about such worldly wonders, or if I find my brother again I can tell him all about it, too~!" she meowed very enthusiastically, already hopping up onto her haunches and clawing up the earth below her paw pads in visible excitement, her tail still lashing around happily behind her.
"And I would be so honored to simply travel anywhere with you! And if you could show me such a special place...how could I ever repay you for such a special thing!" She tilted her head like a curious cub and looked upon his face earnestly, blinking at him in desperate questioning. She really wished to pay him back somehow for everything that he had already done for her, especially sharing his company with her these past 24+ hours, which she still hadn't been able to repay yet, and if he were to show her such a place? And spend such a special time with her with beautiful fireflies? How in the entire world could she ever repay him? Could it even be possible? But she just had to somehow! Club Snails Awww well thank you! I appreciate that! I just feel horrible about making you wait so long! :C I'm sorry that I couldn't get to this sooner, but I was too busy lacking power and cleaning up after the hurricane all last week. >_<

Bukaera laughed, “That is probably why. I do not help with the digging. It seems like a boring task. My job is to come above and scout for new members and make sure no one unwanted finds our entrance tunnel.” he explained. “Now and then they send me to hunt as well. The rank gives me a chance to stay above ground. It is pretty much the best rank for me.”
He couldn't imagine living everyday underground. There were some of the members that did and it astounded him. When he listened to her enthusiasm about wanting to go, he couldn't help but smile wider. He usually didn't talk about his home, but he let her in on it. “Then we shall go. I will show you as much as I can.” He would have to take the lesser known tunnels of course, but that should be fine.
Everything had its price, he thought. It was something his father said again and again. However he wasn't his father. “Repayment isn't necessary. Your company is good enough.” He said with a wink. There wasn't anything worth more then the company of a leopardess. “Now stick close to me and I'll take you to Mazunguko.” He got up, the tunnel wasn't terrible far. They would be there in no time. [.Silvr-Moon.] :C I hope that everything is okay. Also, want to get this rp wrapped up? We could do another one in Mazu if you would like?

"Are you sure, Bukaera?" she asked him both shyly and flustered after he asked for only her company in return as payment for his time and travels. "That's all?" She swallowed deeply as heat began to rush to her face, her fur prickling along the back of her neck and her spine as she tried to contemplate just how much he was valuing her company at. Nobody had ever enjoyed her company so much before! Even her long lost brother couldn't stand her, disappearing from her side late one night as she was sleeping. The "friends" she met on her travels were done with her after a few hours, sometimes even shorter than that, and she had never heard from them again since that
original meeting.
She watched the environment change slowly as they wanders further and further into an area which she had never seen before, smelling things and other creatures that were still new to her senses. She found herself walking closer to Bukaera than she would usually feel comfortable with, feeling her tail tap against his as they walked along, although she left an inch or two of a gap between their bodies. For reasons she was unfamiliar with, she felt heat rush to her face and the back of her neck, her eyes widening and her eyes fixed solely in front of her paws as she felt a nervous chill travel up and down her spine. Her body was acting so weird, she could hide herself better in the dark of the tunnels! It would help save her embarrassment and shyness, besides. And she felt very safe with this male, and she couldn't wait to have a brand new adventure! How exciting!Club Snails Everything is fine now, thank you! The family is safe and we're prepared for today's big storm, as well! And sure thing! As long as she's allowed to post in the forum I would love to have their next RP there~ It would make more sense forum-wise, anyway! :3
