THIS IS LIKE BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!! I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW ON THURSDAY AT 2PM.
I hope it goes well. crying It's at a call center place. I totally have no idea what to expect so can any of you help me?
If any of you have worked at call centers before or worked in customer service places where dealing with customers please let me know what you experienced at your interviews. What they ask in such. sad I don't want it to be fail.
I am supposed to go to a job fair on Wednesday that helps me with this stuff, but I may have no transportation, so I need to contact DVR to see if my Dial-A-Ride is ready yet. sad I dunno.

Mom works at a call center for a hospital. You're going to need your communicational skills because you're going to get a-holes. People can be rude.
What kind of work will it be? Telemarketing, Information, or Scheduling/booking?

For the interview they'll probably ask you some basic questions about experience, and maybe some obscure ones to figure out your communicational skills and such.

God I have bad communicational skills. crying I hate ppl. crying I'm never gonna find a job. crying EVERY CRAP JOB (minimum wage or low wage) REQUIRES INTERACTION AND DEALING WITH PPL!!!! crying Customer service mostly. Either on phones or face to face (like in retail).
And it's just for companies like phone companies, stuffs. Not telemarketing. You just help ppl with questions or concerns about stuffs or if they need changes or something to their subscription or plan.

I worked at a call center. Honestly, it is an easy enough job and those types of places are always hiring because they tend to have a high turnover.
Look presentable: Go conservative safer that way
Remain calm and personable for the interview
Do you know if it a group interview or if it is a individual interview?
Be early
And if you do get the job: Don't miss ANY training
Practice in the mirror answering question about yourself: Weakness? Strengths?
They may give you problems: What would you do if_______ happen?

Other then that you can be as quiet and non talkative as you want. I don't think places need any dishwashers. I wish though. I wish I could drive so I could be a delivery person or transport person or a person who drives ppl places. That's easy since you don't have to deal with many ppl, and when you do have to deal with them, it's simple stuff like telling me where they need to go. As a pizza delivery person, you just deal with the ppl you are delivering it to which isn't much, just make sure they pay for the pizza in stuff. And back at the pizza place, you just sit there and wait until an order needs to be delivered then they (your co workers) give you everything you need to know and all that then you just get in your car and drive. Repeat process. Sounds easy enough, but I don't drive. crying
