Since the contest thread will be pages of bumps, let's talk about Halloweeny things here.
Since Halloween falls in the middle of the week this year there'll be parties on the weekend before and after! Yaaay. I'm going to be meeting up with some friends the weekend before for costumed bowling, but I'm coming from work so I don't know what to wear...
I'm thinking of making a Link costume, in the blue tunic, since I own a blue tunic & have white leggings & long-sleeved tight shirt to wear underneath. All I need to make is the hat & find a toy sword. And maybe a toy shield I'll paint...
What do you plan to wear & do for Halloween?

I have plenty of costume like items to play with, but I'm not really certain what I want to do. I'm so used to having my dads input on these kind of things. My dad and I made a prom zombie costume last year and I won best costume. This year I am on my own.... gonk

I dunno. I don't think I will be celebrating it in real life, since I may have a job and have to work.

I have an exam 2 days after, so a combination of studying and handing out candy to prevent teens from setting firecrackers too the door.
Not sure what I'm going to do for costume.
Though we are dressing up in two weeks and then getting drunk as a first set of midterms are over, and friend got his first paycheck celebration.
We found where the slutty halloween store moved too, so now we have to find time to go there and look at everything we never needed to know existed.
We're also getting pumpkins today.

Teens setting firecrackers to the door? O.O SERIOUSLY!!!??? If you don't give them candy? That'd be illegal here.

Last few years, I've been going to a friend's family's Halloween party, but he moved a couple months ago, so I guess that means I don't have plans this year.

I never heard about teens setting off firecrackers if you don't have candy.
Must be a Canadian Halloween thing. O.O Ppl here only set off firecrackers or something at 4th of July.

The saying is "trick or treat." As in "gimme a treat or I'll play a trick on you."
