 Now that Jemmnu had a mate, his days of sleeping around had gone down to once a month. Coming home with a different scent, had become hard to bare as if he were doing something wrong. His mate, still smiled as he always did- and accepted him. Always. He paws were made to wonder, and his children grew and he wanted more, certainly his mate could not have any...
So, he set off to look for company.. Company that would last him for a night, but deep down.. He had already felt 'wrong' doing so.. Seeing his mate's smile even if he knew he smelt the scent of another. That was eating at him, but he whisped through the night like a ghost through the plains. Walking what seemed endlessly, his body was muscular, yet toned- but could hint feminine by how he presented and held himself, but it was a matter of regal. Of want for someone's attention, the mysterious guy that would make your night... He was well known by now, but all the attention he got from male or females other than his mate was becoming empty, and he wasn't ever one to sit and talk... They already knew from his body language called out to those in heat..

 She was in one of her childish moods once again, simply happy with life and the comfort that the warm, empty night, the sky perfectly clear. The stars twinkled brightly overhead like billions and billions of white fireflies glowing overhead. There was a "normal" green firefly before her, however, of which she was currently stalking. With her eyes twinkling and her rump held up in the air, she crawled after its flight path while a deep purr rumbled in her throat. She was so caught up in her little world that she didn't pay attention to the rest of the world; not even the grazing prey creatures that eyed her cautiously as she carelessly stalked her newest interest.
Why was Shinrin this playful and chidlish? She usually got like this every once in a while on a regular schedule, but she still wasn't used to it in her own way. She just felt so happy and alive right now, but she was usually slightly more serious than this! And when her jaws finally snapped down over the little bug, she realized just how much she was disappointed. She spit it back out in a hurry as its wings fluttered against her tongue and the roof of her mouth, and as soon as it flew farther and farther away she waved her tail around anxiously. What would she do now?

The leopard scowered the plains... looking for something, anything.. and in which, he contemplated just planting himself on the ground and just.. letting everything out but he couldn't. His everything, stopped him from doing so. Ears fanned back as he finally started to slow down and felt almost defeated by the slowness til he plopped on the ground. If he did this one more time, his heart will turn cold. Or so he thought.. but his feet wandered so much- how could he stop this madness?
He closed his eyes, hurt and confused... Things males usually would never admit to. Then, his ears swirved when he was at the brink of losing control. One eye flew open, and his snout moved toward the smell of another. "I thought I would be alone tonight..." He spoke softly to him.. Turning his face away. No ... he wouldn't go after the sound.. his body rose... and started to tremble with want. The want to cheat... His head got tossed away once again- then he slammed his claw in to the ground..
"I can't keep doing this!" He growled aloud..

She continued to stalk the firefly that she was following previously, just staring at it as it floated higher and higher into the night sky, blinking alongside the stars blinking up above her head. She stood on her haunches and swatted at the little bug for a few brief moments, not meaning to cause it any harm but wanting to catch up to it. The little bug brought out her inner cub, her innocent curiosity. She just wanted to examine it, was all!
Her body froze in shock when she heard a loud growl echo through the air. It just surprised her, was all! She didn't sense or scent any other creatures, prey or hunter alike. The growl was one of a feline, not a canine, so if anything Shinrin might have stumbled upon someone she could make friends with! She loved meeting new creatures and making new friends! Being a rouge, that just meant she might meet up with these friends in the future when she traveled around! Just the thoughts alone filled her with a new sense of happiness and excitement!
"Hello~? Is anyone else there?" she called out sweetly with a purr, tilting her nose up slightly towards the night skies as she tried to pinpoint where this feline was. But the scents of the cooling earth were so fresh and potent that it was a bit more difficult to spot for sure where the feline was.Chi Sohma I am so, so, so, so, so, so sorry for the wait!!!!!!!

"My dear?" He spoke louder finally as he had gotten slightly more closer. Swallowing his doubts and guilt within him. Hoping to bypass the sick feeling of what he was about to do. Another victim for him, another he could come to smell like and bring home.. "I heard you from not to far off- haven't seen another around in some time here.." Lowering his head. "Lost?" He questioned, and lightened his doubts and worries off for the moment. Playing the part of the mysterious, alluring male that everyone wanted and ached to know yet slipped right through their digits.
For sadness- he laid with many, for the want- he craved attention. "My name is night, and yours my dear?" The codename that others could come to know very well. She seemed childish, probably young- like his children. He was mid-aged now.. but no one would guess with how well kept he was, a good female did that for him, and a good mate to cleanse just the right masculinity..

So the rumble of the frustrated creature did belong to somebody nearby, and someone who didn't sound so scary or upset as it originally sounded like! She purred with contentment and joy, happy to be in the presence of another person to interact with and talk to. The voice was the deep one of a male, and the tone and way the words left his mouth as well as the scent that her nose had just begun to detect informed her that this was another feline, and one of her own kind! She lifted her tail up behind her slightly, not in an aggressive way, but a welcoming and happy way, the tip of her tail flicking rapidly back in forth like a joyful little flag of sorts.
"Sir~?" she responded somewhat loudly to him, trying to make her voice loud enough so that he could pinpoint her location a bit simpler in the darkness of the night. She had completely forgotten about the fireflies by this point, following her nose and her eyesight to the best of her abilities to approach this new male. Soon enough, he came into her line of sight, a gentle purr rumbling in her throat of joy and welcome as her tail was still held up somewhat still like a little flag unintentionally; she was so welcoming to new creatures and so care-free, with her bouts of motherly-ness, that unless they showed a direct threat, she was instincually drawn to them and seeking for them to spot her, too.
"No, not far off at all, see~?" She purred a little more and spoke like a gleeful cub, although not sounding too bubbly or childish. There was a certain smell to his body that was foreign to her, but it wasn't an unwelcoming smell to her brain; some far away part in an area of it she had yet to encounter, yet that began to stimulate her heartbeat in an odd way. Because of this, her voice wasn't as bubbly as it usually was, but that was only because she was somewhat focused on the scent coming off of him that was enticing to her for some reason. "And neither have I; it's very warming to my heart to be able to greet another, especially a leopard as yourself, sir!" She flashed him a warm smile, genuine in character and reflected in her eyes as she looked upon his face. He wasn't bad looking, either, and he sounded friendly enough!
"No, not quite lost," she replied to him, approaching a few small walking strides closer before sitting down eagerly. "I don't have my own home, so I just roam around the rouge lands. So, I suppose everywhere is my home in a way, and I am never really lost.
"Why, are you?" she asked him with concern. She was always willing to help out others on their way if she was able to, for she always felt bad for them when they were lost or in need, almost like a mother looking out for her cub that needed help in some sort of way. Unless the stranger needed her to fight someone, which she skipped out on. Chi Sohma I apologize for the delay in my response! Life got a little hectic these past few weeks, unfortunately! ;_;

"I'd given up on a home.." Almost, Luaith was his world and he was leaving more frequently and coming back to a home without him meant he no longer wanted to be around. His kids had not needed him, the female he took in to take care of his children was compliant but still.. Something was missing and he thought he could get away with sleeping with others again to calm his scattered heart but it hadn't worked. Things were too hectic.
"Leopards are few and far between it seems." A soft grin layers his maw. "It is a pleasure as always to be in the presence of one..And with such beauty as well." Bowing his head. "Maybe, may quite so be a tad lost.." Even if that was a white light, he'd been here only a hand full of times. "But company would be nice, I think I remember this place.. but not ..quite sure.." Speaking to him, was a chore but his voice was so fine tune of mysterious and masculine that it was easy to coax, but he first HAD to speak and he loathed it so. Luaith wouldn't make him speak so much, simply pleasures and affections would suffix for him.
But to get someone else to fall for him.. speech was required.. Ears padded down as a smirk painted on his face. "If you are hungry, I know a nice river we can go- find something.. Being with another leopard- we have to take advantage of it." He was friendly, charming.. and sweet. Thats who he was..and what made everything click with so many others..but this leopard before him, had a simple beauty, he aimed and looked at the finer details.. Evaluating in his head if they were worth his time and so far.. Something about her..

His mind started to feel the guilt within him..
Being even remotely attracted to her felt..wrong.
He battled this internally as his smirk merely grew.
