It was hard for Natli'Ana to believe that out of the clear blue sky, 3 neices had appeared, fathered by a brother who'd never gotten to meet them. This saddened her to the core, and she knew how much it must hurt Ramses, after all the girls displayed so much of him it'd be a daily reminder of what he lost. Not to mention this huge family whom he'd just met over the last two days, it had to be overwhelming for him.
When the chance came, and the girls were occupied by the others, she walked up to him, and she nudged her head, asking him silently if he would like to walk with her alone for a moment, just to kinda get a breather. Not waiting for an answer, she turned away and trotted slowly off, before slowing and looking to see if he was going to follow or not.

Rameses had been overwhelmed the past few days, but he was glad his daughters were happy.The reception by Tylion's family had been much better than Rameses could have expected and he thanked Ra daily for the blessing to be included in such a loving manner. While it was still hard for the god-stallion, Rameses felt amazed at what Tylion had left behind, what he had protected. What his beloved had had was amazing, and Rameses felt... very sorrowful at the fact that the loving stallion had been taken from his family. A small nudge drew Ramee's attention towards the speckled female, Natli'ana, who motioned for him to follow her. While the pretty mare was very much exuberant and hyper like her niece and Rameses's daughter, Loria, she was also very much more mature and... beautiful than Rameses's could have imagined. She had a grace about her that obviously came from the same place Tylion had gotten it. At times it made Rameses sad, but at others, it intrigued him that many in one family could have that grace.

Natli paused, waiting with one hoof up until he'd approached and she matched her pace to his. For a time, they walked in silence, she a bit intimidated by him, but curious at the same point in time. "I thought you could use a few moments away, to catch your breath. I know the whole family can be a bit much to take in all at once. The girls seem to fit right into the groove, though, I'm happy to see." She was attempting to make small talk, to him at ease...to put herself at ease too. "What is your family like?"

Rameses smiled at the mare, so much smaller than him, and yet so much more... spunky. He chuckled at the thought. "Thank you for that. I did need a breather." He watched her as they walked until she asked her question.
He was a bit taken aback that she would ask, but happy at the same time that she wanted to know him, and not just that he had bred with her now deceased brother. "Well... My father is the Sun... Ra. I do not know who my mother was. I was raised, partly on my own, with only Father's guidance to lead me." He answered softly, regally, wondering if she would question him like Tylion had, how he could be a 'god on earth'.

She stopped in mid-stride and gave him a look of such utter confusion that was bound to leave him laughing in stitches. Or at the very least, smiling. "The sun...? How can...? How can the sun have kids?" This was a purely innocent question her part, she really didn't know much of anything about the Gods and had never heard of Ra before. She started to ask if he was pulling her tail, but the look his eyes was serious enough to make her believe his words, even if she didn't understand them at that moment.

Rameses shrugged. "Ra is the god of the Sun... I am his son. There is nothing I can do to question it. I am his god on earth. That is all I know, Natli'ana. Just as you know Taoshira and Enthallion are your parents and that Tylion was your brother." He answered as easily as he could, finding her curiosity increasingly funny. "I just know that Father speaks to me. He guides me and gives me the answers in life I need. Just as I know Khonsu is the son of Aah... the moon." He waited for her response.

"Ooooh...Sun God! Okay, that makes more sense. Sounds cool...I mean, hot...well, your hot and well, no, I mean yes, yes you're hot but your dad..that sounds pretty cool...I mean, hot. AAACK!" She looked away, completely embarrased, having just inserted her hoof in her mouth in so many ways, blushing fiercly under her coat. Looking down at a rock, she started to nudge it with a hoof, her long bangs falling over her face. "Sounds kinda lonely too. I mean, you're dad can talk to you, but you don't know your mom, and you have no siblings? My family's so BIG, I can see how different that'd be for you to take in, and with Ty gone, that has to make it worse...being alone. I'm glad you've had the girls, though. You've done a great job raising them. My brother would be so proud, Ramses."

Rameses blushed at her stumbling over calling him hot and everything else, so much that he didn't really catch all of it. "Uhm.. Thank you?" He chuckled lightly as his thoughts turned back to his life and family. "Well.. when I was younger I had met a female... Michiko. She was my best friend and we were together for awhile... I was going to track her down and see if we still... hit it off, but I found out she already has a mate and children. Then I met Tylion. And..." He shrugged. "I wasn't lonely anymore. And then I found out the girls were coming and... then he...left... and I had the girls and... Now I'm here... Keeping them happy. I raised them how I thought Tylion would want them raised." He looked down at the ground as well, watching her nudge the rock.

She lifted her head enough to look at him through her bangs, and the sadness there struck her heart. She reached over and nudged him lightly with her nose and gave him a smile. "He would be more than pleased, the girls are absolutely wonderful. I can see why you and Ty hit it off so well." Still sorta embarrassed, she looked back down at the rock she was kicking, biting her cheek a little before asking, "What do you think you'll do next?" A good part of her wanted him to stay, wanted to sincerely ask him to stay, but it did have to be heart-wrenching for him in many ways. To be honest, just looking at him had her heart flip-flopping, but could he ever view her in the same way? Not to mention, granted it'd been a bit of time since Ty's death, still she had no intention of taking advantage of his grief. She missed him dearly, too. "I'd....kinda like it if you stayed," she added quietly.

Rameses sighed as he thought about her question. What was he going to do? He had no where else to go, no family whatsoever, and he couldn't continue to live where he had made a home just to remember Tylion as he raised the girls. He was about to answer when he heard her soft whisper. "I dont know, Natli... I'd like to stay, perhaps. Your family is very caring and I dont much like the idea of leaving the girls....or you..." He added as quietly as she had.

"I know it's a bit bold, and maybe all I'll ever do is remind you of what's no longer here, but...I really do want you to stay, with my family. With me. I don't want you to go, they don't want you to either..." She kept dragging in her family, trying to downplay her own feelings. Honestly, she'd never felt this way for another ever in her life, and quite honestly, she wasn't sure how to handle it. In fact, she was quite she was doing a damn good job of bungling the whole affair instead. Looking at him again, she asks, "Do what your heart tells you. What...do what you think might make you happy."
Looking up towards the horizon, she added a bit distantly, "I'm sorry, I know I'm probably doing this all wrong in about every way, but...I've never felt this way about another before. I don't want you to go, I like..having you close. I can see why Ty loved you so. I only know because the last I saw him, he had such a gleam in his eye, I always wondered what it was about, but he wouldn't tell me. Just promised he'd say it later..." A single tear ran down her cheek at this statement, and she shook her head a little to blink the others away. "I do miss him, we both do, but he'd want us to do what would make us happy. I want you to stay, that would make me happy. But...if...you decided to leave, can I come with you? It's not right for you to be alone."

Rameses leaned forward and gave the smaller mare a little nudge as he sighed. "Natli'ana... My girls mean everything to me. After Tylion... left... I swore that I'd always be there to teach them to be strong and brave like he was. And now I can see that bringing them here was the best decision I could make. However... being here... Reminds me daily of what I have lost. I had so little time with him..."
Rameses blinked his own tears back, tears he had held back since the day he had found out about the Fall. "The longer I stay here... with your family, and with you... the more I remember and find out about him... and the more I feel.. almost like betraying him... I know he'd want me to be happy. And with you, atleast, I begin to feel some semblance of the happiness... more than I felt with him..." He sighed and looked away from the beautiful mare.
What was he doing? Would... Would Ty be mad at him for this? "I can't take you from your family, Natli'ana... and nor do I want you unhappy...I will stay as long as I am welcome."

"I don't...want to cause you pain, nor do I want to replace my brother's memory in your heart," she said softly, turning golden eyes to look into his dark orbs. "I don't feel being happy is a betrayal to him at all, I think it only would be if your intentions were not pure. Honestly, I'm not sure how much purer they could be. The girls are true testament to his legacy, though he may not of been around long enough to see them or been around to touch many, through them....through you...he will continue to live on in your heart and through your actions. In this way, he continues to live, though I'm sure he's watching down over us as well. He wouldn't want you to be lonely, he would want you to be happy again."
She nuzzled his cheek softly, wiping away a few of his own tears. "The best legacy we can give to those we've lost, is to pass on what we've learned, and do those things they've taught us. It is in that way they will continue to live on, long past the time our own bones are dust in the wind. Least...it's what I believe. I greet the dawn every morning, now, thanking my brother for having been there, and for having the bravery to give his life, teaching me to value what is around me and to fight what I believe in. And I believe in life, and it's value. Because it can be taken from me in a heartbeat, I welcome each day for a new adventure, and for that, I have Ty to thank."

Rameses sighed as he nuzzled Natli back, closing his eyes to his pain. Feeling it recede was hard in itself, and this familiar feeling he had felt only once before, was coming back, rearing its dark head like a brilliant halo over Rameses's heart. Is this what you wish of me, Father?' He asked Ra silently, feeling his heart becoming lighter, freer, and almost like it had been when he was young and without a care.
A short breath of air washed over Ramee's back and his hide jumped at the contact. Behind his eyes he could almost see Tylion once more, see his beautiful face, and a short nod. What did this mean? The dark stallion, bred of the sun could feel the forgiveness and the acceptance of a new love. It was all he needed.
"As do I... If I had never met Tylion, I would never have found you." He replied softly, his voice husky with all the emotions swirling through his heart.

Natli smiled, feeling probably the happiest she ever had in her life, as she reached up to nibble lightly, removing a stray leaf that'd blown into his mane. For a moment, she was silent as she searched his eyes, seeing all the emotions and feeling herself lost in their depths and she realized this was exactly what love was.
They'd barely met but a few days before, and she'd found herself drawn to him from the start. She'd rarely left his side, sorta watching over them, discretely trying to keep the four from being totally overwhelmed by the love of the family though admittedly she didn't think she'd done much good, the family being the loving bunch they were.
It made her heart burst with joy, just being alone with him like this, and she felt like a little filly once more about ready to burst out of her skin. She momentarily thought of tackling him with love and kisses, but restrained herself and settled for standing close to his side, sorta cuddled up to him, as she nuzzled gently. "I won't say a word, it's probably best you talk to the girls first before the rest of the family finds out...if they haven't already. But just know, it would matter not where we were, with or without the rest of my family. As long as I'm with you, as long we're together - no matter where we are - that is where my happiness will be."
