Powers: Being an ancient vampire, as well as a powerful sorcerer, Miro posses magical ability on-par with some of the strongest forces in the paranormal world.
However, after using his hex-weaving powers in recent days to unseal Harmitage from his prison, an ancient and untapped reserve of Miro's magical ability was released. Known as the Eldersblood Seal, Miro can now, at his command, change his form into a more primal and bestial psuedo-vampire.
This vampiric beast form is large, humanoid with grey skin, and a bat-like face with black eyes and large teeth. Vestigial-looking wings, about the size of normal human arms, appear on his back, as well as a small crest of horns on his forehead.
While in this form, Miro is supremely powerful, and capable of wielding magics and abilities previously unreachable to him in his normal form.
Weaknesses: Sunlight is no longer an inhibitor of his abilities, though strong enough magics can still weaken him, and he can be slain, difficult as it may be.

Crovesbane- A silver longsword etched with hexes and runes of ancient days. It is a powerful weapon, bound to Miro long ago, and capable of slaying many paranormals of varying breed.

Much of Miro's past remains shrouded in mystery, both to himself and his peers. He suffers from amnesia and cannot place dates on his experiences, though he has pieced some things together based on knowledge from history.
From what he can remember, Miro was born in England, but he can recall little else. He knows that he became a creature of the night early in his adult life, somewhere around the age of 25. After killing the bloodsucker that infected him, Miro actually began to embrace what he was. All of the things he would rush to accomplish were suddenly just another thing he could put off until tomorrow.
His life became nothing but relaxation and luxury; until The Hunters decided he was a stain to be removed. Several ambushes and botched attempts at his afterlife taught Miro some combat, which he refined into his own fighting style. To avoid the undaunted Hunters, he began a system of changing names and countries routinely to lose his assassin's.
After using so many names for so many centuries, the different names and cultures all ran together in his mind. He settled on the name "Miro Seldivek" sometime in 1700. Unlike most in his position at the time of its founding, Miro watched the creation and founding of America very closely; in all his days he had never seen a country born of such a peculiar revolution.
Miro became a kind of hermit as he watched the new country take shape. As the cities grew larger, though, he learned nothing he could do would stop it; he joined the public. Doing everything he could to avoid suspicion, moving, changing names, and all that, until he settled himself in New York.
As a person, he was seen as intelligent, casual, yet passionate, but none of those would save him from several more attempts on his life during the modern era. Hunters were once again the bane of his existence, so he found himself looking for a job that would keep him out of suspicion, and in the good light of the public eye. The CPRD proved to be just the place. He stepped in as Head of Security right before its completion, and became rather good friends with Ian and Caroline Maude.
When Kimberly Maude was born, Miro was tasked with protecting her by her parents. Miro and Kimberly grew close in sort of an uncle and niece kind of way. With his extensive knowledge of combat and history, Miro has been known to throw in ideas for new devices and magics for Kim's projects.
These days, with a full-fledged war on the horizon, Miro is gathering powerful forces to face Malia, and end her genocidal plot against paranormals. He has taken to keeping Sabine Du Croix close-by, and with the recent heartbreak Kimberly has been feeling, Miro feels nothing but growing scorn for Malia and all Hunters.
