Lately I've found myself listening to 'Nightcore' music like the coffee and music addict I am. I also realized that while listening to said songs I'm typing away little stories to go along with said music.

((I'm one of those weird people who can put a single song on repeat for hours on end and not get tired of it XD))

I'm in a sharing type of mood so here they be in all their glory of suckiness...
((Why has no one tried talking me out of this YET!?))

Flesh

This day had to be one of the worst ever. What had started as an almost decent night out soon changed into a night full of screams, blood, bone, and running. Lots and lots of running. All around were what used to be kind people turned rabid. Who would of been able to guess that the small town of Ravenbrooke would be the breeding place for zombies? Most of those still kicking blamed the illegal pesticides farmers still used. Others blamed the government. It was the typical blame game everyone played when things went wrong, and things had most definetely gone wrong.

A small group of teens were holed up in their school, the nurses office to be exact. Bloody hand prints littered the walls and windows. The deathly breathes of the undead ghosted against the windows as hungry hands banged against the door and walls trying to find a way in to the terrified people inside. They would not have to wait long. Inside one of the teens already sported the gashes of nail marks and the rows of bloodied teeth marks. Another was already dead. A third was being held forcibly to the cot as she screamed bloody murder into the linen and mattress.

That girl was scared and had decided half way through hiding that SCREAMING might save them all. It only sealed their horrible fate. The door would not last long against the hordes pushing against it from outside. The girl was almost mute anyways with the sheer volume and power she had been using for the last hour or so. There was one other among the group bringing the dwindling number of survivors to three. The dead one no longer counted the coward.

Fifteen minutes passed and the muffled screams of terror died down to sobs of despair and soundless words. The only sound made now was the pounding at the door. Silence reigned as the three survivors looked at each other with knowing eyes. The screamer seemed to choke on her breath and despite desperate attempts to keep her breathing she finally slumped dead against the wall a few minutes later. What once was four now was just two. A healthy male and a doomed to change female.

Bitter smiles passed between them and they met in the middle of the room for one last loving embrace while they still lived. The door started to splinter and crack under the abuse it was receiving and with tears in their eyes the two hugged one another tightly. "I'm so sorry..." The male murmured and the girl pulled back confused. "Wha---" She started to ask before teeth buried themselves into her neck effectively tearing out her throat."Pass the test... Taste, taste the flesh..." He smiled delightfully before the door finally broke and the zombies swarmed the quickly dying girl. "Make me bleed, I like it raw" He snarled before he to dived in to fray intending to get the girls heart. Why else would he infect the town if not for her?

How Do You Love Someone?

Affection was never given, emotions were shunned, physical interaction was rare, and wounds of all nature were left alone to either fester or to scar. Small mistakes were met with loud arguments and fights, parental affection was never shown with the holding of hands or random kisses, the mother always cried or screamed when things got to 'hard', and the father would always back down halfway through an argument of fight leaving things either tense or in even worse shape than it originally started.

It was no surprise that their child grew up cold and reclusive keeping to herself in classes and in the world. She taught herself to ignore the fights, the yelling, the crying, and to ignore the pain. All 'love' ever gave her was bruises, scrapes, and a face full of dirt every time she was pushed down. She knew the cold kiss of the rain, the chilling touch of the wind, and the hold of shadows. Clouds never parted for her to show her the sun, to show her the warmth the world was capable of giving. She always tried her best to stay positive but after years of negativity she was numb to everything.

No one thought she would be able to survive in society with her lonely ways but she managed to cope after a while, she learned that lies came easier as time went by and that the truth... Well she refused to handle it. It was eaiser to just coccoon herself in her threads of white lies until the real her was buried away beneath them all safe from heartbreak and ridicule. Even though she wanted to scream, break out of her self made prison she knew it was for the best.

When she finally fell in love she couldn't help but wonder out loud. "How do love someone without getting hurt? How do you love someone without crawling in the dirt? So far in my life clouds have blocked the sun... How do you love someone?" She asked and the man just smiled at her. "Love has its ups and downs, love will alway hurt when its with the wrong person, you may fall a few times but once you find that someone... They'll pick you up after every fight, clean your wounds, and they'll apologize even if they arn't the one who is wrong. Thats how you love someone" He murmured before picking her up out of the dirt and bringing her out into the sunshine.

What Lies Beneath

Taking a deep breath the girl rose her fists and entered the fray of teens in the sudden mob fight. There no longer were 'sides', only 'enemies' to conquer and defeat for survival. She knew she wouldn't win this fight, but it didn't mean she didn't give it her all. People rose and people fell but she stood strong taking her hits and dishing them back tenfold. That's when she face him. He was no good for her, for as long as she had known him she had never once seen him cry, even when all signs and feelings dictated that he should.

She had loved this man once but let him go because it was more than obvious that he did not feel the same as she, he used and abused her to his every whim and fancy. She had stayed in hopes he would change but since when has a man ever changed for a woman he barely held affections for? The answer was and is NEVER. So she left, expecting her love to just wither and die like everything else in her life.

They faced each other and it was like the fighting around them disappeared leaving just them facing one another just waiting for some sort of reaction or move. His face twisted into a sort of humorous yet twisted smile. He moved suddenly and she was dragged out of the fighting and into a secluded alleyway to be knocked over and pinned under his cold jaded gaze. She glared and got ready for the beat down she so rightly deserved for starting a fight she had no business being in. Then again he never was one to give the expected reaction. The tides turned and the next thing she knew he was kissing her despite her protests and thrashing, knowing that he knew she would give up and give in like she always did with him. "I'll always be here, for the rest of my life" He mumbled placing a hand over her heart.

After she had been thouroughly conquered she was pulled back to her small apartment to bandage and clean both their wounds. The cleaning hurt but neither showed it despite the amount of blood that swirled down the sink. The twisted smile never left his face and his eyes remained cold and jaded as they looked at her, almost questioning why she ever left him. If you looked closely enough you'd of detected the slight tinge of hurt beneath it all. She had been gone when he had finally fallen of his high horse and throne. When he finally realized what his actions and words did to people. What his sad excuse of a life had become. He let himself open up and let go of all the regret and pain he held hidden. "Don't carry me under, your the devil in disguise. Sing for the hopeless, I'm the one you left behind" He chuckled as his eyes teared up slowly.

She finally got to see what he hid. Behind the twisted smile was a trembling frown filled with hurt, behind the jaded eyes was tears and a deep longing and need for acceptance. The tides had turned and now he was in the positon she had been in at the beginning. "I'll alway be here, till the end of my life" She replied evenly while smiling herself.

Everyone deserved a second chance right? They both said goodbye to the life of hurt, pain, fights, and misunderstood signals.
