To say Rikki looked pathetic as he walked around the grounds was an understatement. Somehow in the thick fog he'd lost Roch, and with Demi and Danny... gone, he felt lost. He clutched the squeezable toy he'd picked up to his chest miserably and wandered slowly, trying not to dwell on the fact that he hadn't jacking found Danny yet and the crippling panic that way lie.
The longer he walked aimlessly, the more a sinking feeling seeped its way into his gut, making his movements feel jerking and unsure. It was like paranoia was a tangible force around him, pushing in on him in all direction. Something really bad was about to happen. Something so, so bad. He peered over his shoulder nervously and tried not to jump at every shadow.
Jack, he didn't even have backup if things went to hell. Quote: ALL PLAYERS AT ANY POINT CAN FORFEIT THEIR ATTACK TO ROLL 2d12. If you roll odd, you do this damage to your opponent. BOSS BATTLE: The fog started to form, a figure in the dark followed by the sweet lullaby of a certain mermaid. A call if anything...to someone's death.
And that said mermaid's gaze fell on the intruder, a boil who was the other half to her best friend. But the fog was her only best friend...
And her only Home.

"Home."The hissed word filled the air before the mantis even emerged. Standing near 15 feet tall it moved out of the fog toward the reaper, no signs of recognition. One alone. Moving about like a weakling. Scared. He would destroy it before it could become a threat. It seemed another had the same idea. Good. He held back a little to let the other have its fun. OOC Total HP : 60/60 Damage done: None because OTP ...I'm really not sure if he's ever missed before Targets: OTP

It took him longer to recognize the ashen and broken form than it probably should have. It was the voice, though dead and different, that finally made it click for him. "Amphi?" He choked out her name. Jack, she just looked so wrong. She was missing the vibrancy that had first made her so... well her it seemed.
He didn't know her well, but he knew her well enough to know that something was seriously wrong with seeing her like this.
And that's when Yin appeared, and Rikki's world shattered that much further. He couldn't even look at the giant mantis for more that a couple seconds without the pain in his chest being too much to handle.
He summoned and his weapon and sent a swift attack to Amphi, choosing the lesser of two mentally-scarring evils. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he attacked Yin....

BOSS BATTLE: The mermaid turned her head in the fog as she looked at the giant friend of her home and then back to the one who was not.
She didn't have to say anything more as she absorbed the hit and then stepped forward, her clawed hands slashing out again.. Quote: Amphi: 40/60 Damage: 10 Targets: Rikki

"Home."Yin would probably not be able to forgive himself. If he got changed back again. For now though he simply moved forward, striking out at the reaper with his claws. No one was allowed to attack his home. OOC Total HP : 60/60 Damage done: 10 Targets: OTP

Rikki cried out as claws slashed against him, his chains and armor only providing minimal shielding from the blows. He couldn't do much when these... things - he refused to consider that his friends were at home at all in their bodies - didn't seem to feel anything at all.
Still he sent the blades of his weapons lashing outward again toward Amphi, frown turning his face old and haggard. He was so tired already. So beaten up.

BOSS BATTLE: The fog swarmed around Rikki now as both Yin and Amphi attacked.
And they showed no mercy as she struck her hand out again, this time...watching him dissipate into nothing.

Yin had intended to caress the invader once more with his claws. Unfortunately he was not able to before he dissipated. There would always be next time.

Rikki knew the exact moment he was about to dissipate. It was like an intense, clawing buildup that wanted to explode from every pore on his body. He grunted and fought it for as long as he could, which amounted to only a few precious seconds, before his entire form gave into the need.
He exploded outward and faded into the fog.
Only to reform moments later, panting and in tremendous pain, exactly where he'd been before. His gaze shot up quickly to the retreated forms of his attackers and he gave a terrified whimper.

BOSS BATTLE: The mermaid didn't make it far in her retreat as the boil returned...as if he never left.
The fog mermaid cocked her head to the side as if curious before moving again swiftly. Her hands did the same as she had down to Roch, reaching out to touch the reapers face....

Why did the sound of that intruder's whimpering seem oddly familiar? It got his attention either way, and he turned, wondering why the mermaid was so interested in the intruder's face. He ran a claw down its face as well, but the tip of his claw jabbed into the boil's chest. OOC Total HP : 60/60 Damage done: 7 Targets: OTP

Rikki could feel the tears that wanted to burn their way past his lids. This was cruel, watching his friends so broken as they took pleasure in hurting him. As they actively sought to destroy him. He gave a gross, wet gasp as he felt massive claws pierce his skin. "Please," he begged. "Please don't do this."
There was no way his words would get through though. He summoned his weapon again, fingers clenching on the cold metal before animating them and sending them snaking toward Amphi's stomach. "Please," he tried again when he missed.
